I have been in many UHaul trucks over my lifetime and that was the worst yet. It was rusted out in places, had patches all over, and there were even what looked like possible bullet holes all over the truck. It has a horrible squeak which is probably a bearing going out and only came with 1/4 of a tank of gas. We had to put fuel in the truck to even get to the move (see more explanation below) and the gas station where this truck was located did not even have a card reader at the pump. Even though the Uhaul website said there was an available truck where I wanted to pickup/drop off (local move), I was called and made to drive an extra 20 miles total to pickup a truck. I was also told I would get a discount for using the further away location which has never materialized. Therefore, to rent this dilapidated truck, cost even more with the addition miles.

David SPick up and drop off experience was the worst it could possibly be. The app and web experience was awful. Uhaul should only do in office pick up and drop off. If you can't get an app or website to work right in 2026 you just shouldn't use it. The location was fine.
