Don't schedule customers at the same time first thing in the morning. I had to wait 20 minutes just to get served. I do like the online check in and return, very convenient. You should promote that more.

I was charged $5 for safe tow when I never selected it. When I asked the proprietor about it, he said that the person who helped me never makes that mistake. Comically, when the person was helping me, they stated they had never done this before and to “…bear with me.”

Was supposed to open at 8am nobody was there, not clear where to park the vehicle with very little space. I took pictures on teh app but it crashed and I wasn't able to open the car again since we already unlocked it.

I rent from Uhaul 4-6 times a year. 2 experiences from the place: STAY AWAY! They are the WORST Uhaul I have EVER encountered. First: I waited for the Fellow 20 minutes, only to find out that he was actually discussing the price for a part delivery for the brake shop. He kept talking to the vendor, and not me, while trying to input the Uhaul order that he had just fulfilled, which was just attaching a trailor. It took so long, that the manager came out and apologized. THEN it took three days before he actually ran my bill. I called each day to inquire why my bill hadn't been processed and was told that he was "...doing it now." Only after I complained to corporate via email was my card and order processed on the third day. I was not charged for the extra days of the "open order." SECOND: I rented a 26' truck two weeks later. Didn't want to go back to that place, but they were the only ones within 40 min. drive that had one. at the time I booked. I showed up on the Sunday morning to P.U. only to eventually find out that they didn't stage the truck for me! (retaliation for the complaint?) I luckily was able to find one much further away that I could rent, but it forced me to waste 2 hours of additional time. Really - Stay away from this place

Starting engine had some problems, padlock for securing roll up door does not work. We had vehicle for 24hrs but bc we were not there at pick up time our contract was canceled. We still wanted truck and were willing to pay full day price but getting truck next day took 45 mins. We never received contract cancelation notification and was inconvenience. Otherwise. As regular user for our business, we think mobile pick up is great idea.

The ride was extremely bouncing and jarring, I had to call customer service as I was afraid that there was an equipment malfunction. I was told that it could be an issue with the tires, we stopped and checked the tire pressure and there did not appear to be anything wrong, we are not sure what caused it.

I was not the one who dropped the truck off. So, I was unable to comment on this. I did appreciate the phone notifications letting me know that this was the closest drop off to my Oceanside address. However, because it was another 21 minutes away, there was added mileage and fuel. I'm not sure is this could be reimbursed.

I gave you a yes on clean but the truck could have used a bubble bath. There was bird poop all over the windshield and even using the wipers it only made it worst. I ended up washing the windows myself. Truck only had 47000 miles so it was new, I liked that it had the USB ports to charge my cell phone and blue tooth.

There is no service in this area. It was impossible to complete the mobile check-in and check-out portions without going back and forth to a place with service across the street. It was incredibly time-consuming, made me late, and customer service was unable to do anything about it on their end to help.

Employee cleaned the back of the truck during inspection. The truck ran well enough but during the day but I noticed a burning smell while stopping for gas. I checked fluid levels and noticed low levels for oil and transmission fluid. Fluids also appeared worn, dirty.

I'm active duty military; and I'm all too familiar with moving and of course using U-Haul. The team at Break Stop San Marcos was truly the best experience I have with U-Haul, and far exceeded my expectations. They're fantastic representatives of U-Haul and I would actively seek them out again, have I the opportunity.

The condition in which my Uhaul contract was breached was after The Brake Stop didn't open till an hour after the set and store time at 8 am. When the hung over manager finished answering his calls BEFORE helping the people pouring from the entrance like a refugee living up for asylum, he began to act like he was paying attention. But alas, the drunk men child couldn't even act like customer service was important unless it was made from rotten fruits and lingering off his breath.

Pick up was not on time. Not sites fault. Big issue is they changed my drop off location from where I scheduled it. When they asked where I was going to drop it off, for whatever reason they couldn't find the location and said it would be fine. Fast forward to that night when I'm dropping off, there are signs in my checkout process saying that if I returned it to the wrong location I might be charged a fee, so instead of dropping off at the location that was closest, I had to drive an additional 10 minutes down the freeway at a different location in fear of being charged fees.
