ROBERT GI would never use U-Haul again. I was rerouted 3 times & thankfully the person at Branchton Farms was helpful enough to give me the truck she had. I had the confirmation on my phone when I went to pick it up but the system had rerouted me again to a location 45 minutes away. This happened the morning of my move. I spoke to 2 different reroute people, only 1 with any customer service. Moving is stressful enough without this. I would never use U-Haul again, you can’t trust them. 4 different location in 4 days is not ok.

WILLIAM KThe outside of truck was very dirty. Inside the vehicle had coffee spilled from previous rental. The steering wheel was out of alignment, the truck needs to have alignment completed. The exhaust manifolds are leaking. I stated on my return that the truck was dirty, and they still charged me a cleaning fee. I rent 2 trucks a month and I expect UHAUL to reimburse this bogus cleaning fee or I will be happy to take my business to Penske or Hertz regardless if the cost is more. Uhaul needs to inspect their renters' properties and trucks and they will see that they are not doing correct check ins. These places are just taking a percentage of the rental.
David LI returned the vehicle at 1:30pm on the original rental return date however the time sent in the final invoice did not match the actual time returned causing me to be billed for an additional day; I was billed for 2 days rental instead of just 1 day and never received any paperwork upon my return. This is simply unprofessional. I have tried for 5 days now to reach this rental location regarding the fraudulent information and over charge and have not received any return correspondence nor credit. That coupled with the mileage and fuel levels not matching the out the door actuals, along with not all the rented equipment being available (packing blankets) has made for too many issues to not say something to corporate about this location. Please understand, with no return correspondence ever received from the rental merchant, regrettably we have since requested a chargeback from our CC merchant bank until UHaul acts professionally and with the proper fiduciary responsibility to fix the erroneous amount we were charged and to please not allow false claims regarding return times. I have all photos and GPS of return times
JOSEPH DI can't speak much on the customer service as I dropped the vehicle off after normal business hours, but the U-Haul app made drop-off easy. The drop-off location was in a rural farm area, so it was dark and a little confusing at first.
MEREDITH RBoth ends of the trip were great! Supper easy pick up and drop off. Trailer was in excellent shape and pulled easily.
THOMAS DI originally scheduled to pick up my U-Haul trailer from 5045 Ronnoch Blvd in Wesley Chapel. After arriving there on pickup day at 9 am on Saturday, November 2nd, and waiting in line for 20 minutes, I was informed that the trailer I had reserved was not there. I was then informed that I needed to go to the location, 15320 Morris Bridge Rd in Thonotosassa, to pick up my trailer. This was a big inconvenience, considering it was 30 minutes out of my way and it was moving day. The woman at the location in Thonotosassa was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had a nasty attitude and was quite literally wearing pajamas. Aside from the above, I was then informed of the time that I could drop off my trailer. I had it reserved until 4pm. Given the delays I had faced, the woman at the Thonotosassa location advised me that I could return the trailer any time after 3, as it wouldn’t make a difference to her, since the location closes at 3. After dropping the trailer off at 6:18pm on Saturday November 2nd (I have photo evidence), I received a receipt from U-Haul on Thursday, November 7th for $160. My trailer rental was supposed to be around $40. I called the Thonotosassa location, which informed me that they could not do anything, I needed to call the 1-800 number. After speaking to someone on the phone, Luis, I was informed that I was in fact charged for 5 DAYS of trailer rental. A large jump from 7 or so hours, which is how long I had the trailer. I’m now waiting 72 hours to hear from somebody at U-Haul as to whether or not I’m going to be forced to pay the charges. I am warning everyone. This process has been absolutely atrocious and I already know that I am not using U-Haul again. The unorganized nature of this company and lack of professionalism has made my move more stressful than I could have ever envisioned.

Walter HWe called U-Haul because this area was hit hard by hurricane Milton. Said we would be a day late because the storm caused us not to be able to get into the area. No breaks. They charged an additional $28. Drop off time was 12:57 or something. We were in GA at the time. I said we might be a little late. They said then it will be another $28. I tried to call this location but I believe phones were out due to the storm. I private messaged them on Facebook. No response. It turns out we were on time but after driving through water over the road to get there, there wasn’t anyone there so we just dropped the car hauler and left. I think U-Haul should have given some breaks and empathy due to the storm. There was ZERO!

DARSHANAND POne light wasn’t working and on the trip all the lights went out on the trailer. Need to do better maintenance on that standpoint. But a very helpful staff and location.

SHARON HMy overall experience was extremely dissatisfying and frustrating. My year lease was over and my move out date was set for 09/25/2024. When I arrived to the location to pick up the truck my original reservation was not working so I had to complete another reservation under my girlfriends name. She did not have her license with her so we tried to upload an electronic picture of her license the process went through but, the verification process was taking longer than prompted on the screen so we called customer service for faster assistance as we had already been outside remaking the reservation for over 30 minutes. We were connected to verification where Keisha was extremely rude but explained we needed a physical drivers license to complete the process. I drove my girlfriend home to get her physical copy Keisha told us to restart the process and then proceeded to call us liars saying she could see what we were doing and we did not have a drivers license and we’re wasting her time. After completing the process with the right information I asked Keisha if she received it as she ignored me and called the people who were in the car with me listed as my verification. When she came back to line we requested another agent in which she hung up on us without a call back. The truck she also provided to us was blocked in by 2 other trucks so we could not get the truck out. We called customer service again where the next agent called the property owner to move the truck for us. With the encounter between the reservation, the rude representative Keisha and the truck being blocked in. We were on site for over 2 hours before leaving with the Truck. Hurricane Helene came the next day and road closures stopped me from being able to return the truck. I kept constant communication with uhaul. I was told a refund would be given for the money they took off my card for the days I wasn’t using the vehicle. I was told I needed to return the truck before the refund could be processed after returning the truck a request was put in by uhaul to the area manager for refund. Jon the manager messaged me via email stating I should have known the storm was coming and would not give me my refund. He also scolded they don’t give free days so to take the overcharge. I politely advised I would finish resolution with uhual in which management happily and understandably granted my refund. After this experience it’s safe to say I’m a Penske girl now.

gary nIf the location doesn't have the extra items ordered, it should say not available instead of when arriving they say they don't have the items ordered. It added additional mileage to my trip because my hired movers would not stack ×ithout the furniture pads I ordered. Thus, several trips had to be made.
Erica DI reserved a 20 ft truck at a location close to the move. My reservation was switched to a different location by uhaul because it was the nearest location that had the 20ft. I arrived and that location did not have the 20ft. I had to get a smaller 15ft. Which made my move take mkre than one trip back and forth. It also added 10 miles to pick up and 10 miles to drop off the truck because U haul switched the location reserved Which was for no reason because I didn't get the correct truck. It cost me more money in the per mile trip due to poor scheduling on uhaul end. The location was horrible. They had me looking in all their trucks to find a dolly. They told me check all the other trucks and you should find a dolly in one of them. I showed up to drop off 30 minutes before closing time and they were already closed.
Jose FAccess to the equipment was not possible because attendant was not present and the first time around that I was scheduled to pick up the app was not working properly. Reschedule for the second day and the equipment provided was in poor working conditions it barely had any gas and the attendance indicated that had a quarter of attack which was not true and I have pictures to prove it. Secondly a cab and the storage area was dirty and greasy. Additionally the truck was in poor working conditions including Miss alignment of the steering wheel and what it appeared that had problems with the tie rods in the front suspension.
