Hooked up the trailer with attendant there. Never secured the trailer to hitch, glad I checked. I secured it after checking it and brought it to attendant's attention. So much better getting and returning to a u haul service center. I will do that in the future. I mentioned this to attendant in Gainesville and he said that could have been bad. Otherwise all went well.david M.

Start by cleaning and properly maintaining your vehicles. The truck was FILTHY when we picked it up. When my husband turned the truck on the change oil indicator came on. I'll never rent from that location again. It has manholes (not potholes) all throughout the parking lot. My truck almost sunk during a downpour smhShontae D.

The URL for online equipment returns has issues. It took WAY too long for the site to accept photos that were exactly like the examples, requiring multiple attempts, and frustrating the waiting customers. Reduce the requirements for turn-in and/or have this location manned during business hours, and/or emplace a Wifi system for customers to use that might improve the reliability and reliance on using internet-based services in more remote locations for cellular data reception.Jeremy S.

Very friedly and helpful! They have been there for years and I never noticed it. It is next to a cute petty farm and a lovely fruit and vegetable place. She even hooked up the trailer for me, which she did not have to do. Highly recommend!MILFORD C.

Upon arrival The owner was not wearing a mask however we were required to wear a mask then she emailed me the receipt and it came across encrypted I asked for a printed copy which she was not able to provide which I found very unprofessional then upon returning the trailerI was greeted by a nasty teenager at her fruit stand and she the owner never showed up the daughter was talking to her through a walkie-talkie and wanted me to just leave our â€œdrop the trailer and leave I would not leave without a receipt so The daughter said the mother would just email me one so I stood there till I received the email and then the mother which is the owner said she emailed it which the email never came through so I had to stand there longer until the email came through because she said I did that I didn't have a valid email it was very unprofessional I would never rent from this location again they seem to be more interested in their â€œpetting zoo that they are running and the daughter was tending to the fruit stand seem to be more interested in talking on the phone andSpeaking to a friend that was there with her well tending the fruit standTHOMAS T.

The billing part of U-Haul is not very good very unhappy the last two times at Christmas they tacked on a late day charge when do you haul was parked at the return spot on the day it was supposed to be just didn't feel like fighting it and this last time I got a call from a woman saying I'm late and I wasn't and she was rude thank you and I have dated pictures of the trailer parked in front of the U-Haul place in Crawfordville from Christmas I even called ahead and they said Parkette in front of the gate and that's exactly what I did and I can send y'all pictures if you'd like and I also have a Penske right down the roadjohn S.

The only problem was my reserved vehicle was not available. I was given a larger truck, but I really did not want the larger truck. The area I was going needed a small truck to maneuver. Also, i was only given a $24 credit for this, instead of the $50 guarantee that is on the website. I'm not sure why I was given less than the $50.WILLIAM M.

Stop allowing them to rent trucks as everything they do is a mess! They rented me a dirty truck smelling of smoke and with a sticky soda can in the holder. They charged me for pads they did not have, $28 dollars of gas when I returned it to the same level it was when picked up and charged me for an 8 day rental when I only had a one day rental of 30 miles. They also charged me for oil and tire damages when there were none. I contacted them two times with all the information but they never corrected and returned the anmounts due to my credit card.GREGORY I.

This was probably the worst experience I've had with U-Haul. I made a reservation for a truck and a dolly 5 days in advance. When I get to the location they inform me they do not have any dollys on site. This is unacceptable. Had I been told there were no dolly's on this site or they were not available I wouldn't have gone to this location. I was told that I could drive to another U-Haul to see if they had one, which once again is unacceptable because if I go over my estimated miles I will be charged and I am paying for the gas. I shouldn't have to calculate in driving around Tampa to look for a dolly in my estimated mile usage. I don't understand the point of a reservation of certain items if the customer is going to be told they are not available upon arrival. This made my moving experience more stressful because I am unable to move my furniture without a dolly, so it was something that I had no choice but to go out and find once I left the location. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location based off my experience.MICHELLE C.
They were extremely busy when I went into pickup my cargo van and it may have come in and they did not have the time to check it out good. Other than it had a chip in the windshield that we saw as we were pulling out of the lot it looked clean. But as we had it found a Mt dew bottle behind the drivers seat and a receipt behind the passengers seat. The back look clean as two of the blankets were spread out across the floor. As we were cleaning out our daughters house as she died, we ended up getting some pine needles in. After we took out her stuff I started to clean it out I pulled out the blankets to clean them and the black rubber floor mat underneath them was filthy. As I swept them off I saw dirt and fuzz balls along the side corners of the floor and the side panels. I pulled the floor mat over some to be able to get that edge and found that all under the floor mats hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. I cleaned the edges down but said the heck with under the mats. I then took the van back to drop it off and when I went to check it in my cell phones battery had died and I wasn't able to check in properly. When I got home I called and did a check in and explained all that I said above. I hope the windshield got repaired as it would continue to spider out until it had to be replaced. I understood the time it toke to get me on the road as busy as they were and their service, attitude and professionalism was Great. If the van had been properly been cleaned, and it been dirty in the back for a long time, it would have been a five.Byron S.

This location was a dealer, so she had no supplemental supplies. So we couldn't get PO's or a KO. Also I'm an employee and it didn't give her an option to do employee discount, and we couldn't find where to do it anywhere.DORIS E.
