The truck they wanted to give me had a broken door that I could not physically lift open. I had to request that they give me something else. They upgraded me to a truck that was 7 ft longer. This made driving alot harder for me. They knew the door was broken and tried to rent it to me anyways. Pretty dishonest. If your truck is broken, don't rent it out.Jessica M.

My online check in did not work. When I signed into the online chat I was put of on hold. The estimate said 6 minutes or so....I ended up waiting over 15 minutes staring at the screen so I don't miss it. Suddenly I saw a furry of messages from the agent saying since I wasn't there he had disconnected. That was blatantly false! I was sitting there staring at the screen and he gave me NO chance to even respond. I then had to call the main U Haul number because the online check in wasn't working for me. The first operator after 15 minutes of trying could not help me and said she was transferring to me a different customer service number....I was put back to the beginning of the queue and again put on hold 20 minutes or so. The lady finally was able to help me. Both the first lady the second lady were nice and courteous. All said I wasted about 2 hours....most of my evening trying to complete my online check in. This should be addressed.Sunit S.
The staff was friendly, but upon opening the door to start the truck; the cab smelled like cigarette smoke, the maintenance of the truck is poor.. The fuel economy needle was everywhere. I informed the staff, and they know about it. Seems they dont do anything about it, not only screwing the vehicle up, but also doing the same to their customers.Kyle R.

The truck and pick up location was great. Your Uhaul.company..not so much. You changed locations on me without notice. And I got 2 different amounts to an old fee I didn't know I owed. Never got that notice either. I am totally pissed at you. You cost me extra time and money for gas. I think I should be reimbursed. To be honestterri K.

Not a particularly good value to rent a small truck for a few hours. Because of the cost, U-haul is always my last choice for local truck rental.Robert H.
Staff very rude, did not offer assistance when I reported a problem with a tire. Staff just kept telling me that they didn't help with tires, then told me to file a claim and walked away. Never said to contact Roadside Assistance. Had to extend rental.Jackie D.

The back part of the truck smelled so bad I had to disinfect every item that touched the floor and returned the truck after one trip. Trucks should be at least inspected in between rentals. The previous renter should have been charged for the cleaning.MICHELE O.

I dropped off the truck the same day around 8:30 p.m. which was 30 minutes after the listed business hours. You are charging me $21.84 extra for this, even nowhere in the contract does it state that there is an additional charge for after hours, plus I could have kept the truck 2 more days!Ingrid S.

This location does not have any equipment other than the trucks. And boxes or other equipment cannot be rented or bought here. I reserved to get other equipment, however I wasn't even told I could not get it here or to go to service center on Wycoff for it.Stephen B.

I would have preferred to rent a pickup truck, but i understand they aren't rented as often as box trucks so its silly to keep one in your limited space. The box truck was a bit overkill for what i needed to do, but the location was just too great to go anywhere else.Sydney B.

In a time where people everywhere are feeling more pressure due to the political and social climate, as well as the pandemic, kindness is a bright light â€” especially when they are providing a service for those in most likely dealing with extremely stressful events in their lives.Joan O.
I'm sure everyone has horror stories, but our very sudden move had days of snow and very unpredicted need to change our rental from 1 day to 3, asking and praying for an extension each day. This location is in a gas station so phone calls were a bit hectic and there was a bit of a wait during pick up and drop off, but everyone we talked to was kind, patient and helpful. Paul was the person I worked with during drop off and he was a wonderful ending interaction to the rental experience. We are finding ourselves in another bind and need to rent another truck for the last stretch. This location didn't have the size we needed this past weekend and instead of risking going to a different place, we did what we could with our vehicles until what we needed came available. This will be our go to location unless our experiences change with their customer service. We very much appreciate kindness!KYLE R.

The uhaul rental was very expensive. I only used it for 6 hours and put less than 30 miles on it and I had to pay $120.16. Pretty expensive if you ask me.HARRY KAZU T.

I called uhaul on kitsap way and was told I can go to the location and pick up my truck I reserved. when I got there to pick up my truck I was told they didn't have one that size. I got a smaller truck which forced me to make two trips and I paid double the amount for mileage. terrible experience.DERRICK A.

This is an acdtive service station. It took a long time to get the paperwork completed. UHaul is a side business. There were a lot of other distracctions going on. It was hard to get the paper work. We still have not recieved our final statement.JIM R.

The cab was dirty with crumbs of food. The ramp had stuck -on mud and beauty bark on it. So when we rolled the ramp down , it got all over everywhere and we had to stop what we were doing and clean it up. Not a fun thing to do on moving day when you're trying to go as fast as you can. With rules and charges set in place that says you have to fill the gas tank up to 3/4, it should be at, or above that line, not below. To avoid charges, I had to put $14 into the gas tank. The back of the truck hadn't been swept, the employee even comment that it hadn't been swept. Not only had I swept the back out, I also removed GUM from the floor in the back. As convenient as this location is to a gas station, the homeless population is quite heavy in this location. It makes it very hard to focus on checking the vehicle for damages prior to taking the truck off the lot.SEAN K.

I mentioned to the attendant that the mileage was .6 miles higher than indicated in my checkout sheet. They told me I would be charged in whole miles not increments. They lied, and I paid for mileage I didn't drive. It's only .6 mile, but it's the dishonesty that charges my hide. I won't be using this location again.KASEY K.

In my original text message link, I was shown a charge of $14 for insurance, $29.95 rental fee, and $1.89 per mile. While taxes and fees were not listed, I knew I would have some. My final receipt shows $28 for insurance (+$14), $29.95 rental fee, $59.90 rental charge (no explanation), $1.89 per mile ($36.86 for 19.5 miles), taxes and a $2 environmental fee (in WA I would not be surprised if this had been more). So, $73.90 unexpected charges ($59.90 "rental charge" + $14 above the agreed insurance rate) I cannot recommend anyone use this business.ERIK G.
