They charged me for fuel until I put back more fuel I found seeing I used the truck 4:11 to 6 although I took at 4:18 bring back car at 5:10 Honestly I good for everything

NIJALA RWe had a problem where we accidentally locked the key in the truck. We were able to get it back out after quite a bit of trouble and watching some YouTube videos. However, we were shocked to find out there is no help for such a situation other than to pay U-Haul a $200 fee to come unlock it. We thought the rental office would have extra keys but no. Thought our roadside assistance or AAA might help but they have rules about U-Haul being a commercial rental and they won’t cover commercial rentals only personal ones. We think U-Haul should have a friendlier policy about helping the accidental situation of locking the key in the truck or even losing the key. $200 seems too high and like it would be easier to keep extra keys and more cost effective for you and your customers when the key is lost.

RAYMOND FLogging into the app does not make it easy to find ones reservation. The only way to find it was to go from a link within one of the emails. The app should know, when you login, that you have a rental reservation there.

LYNETTE JThe truck was completely on E, the gas light was on. I was told by a manager to either put gas in or cancel my reservation. I will never schedule from a private owned U-Haul EVER AGAIN. You have lost a customer.

ANGELICA SI am furious, FURIOUS that I was charged a cleaning fee for this rental. I had the rental for 2 hours. I returned it in the exact condition that I rented it in. I left NOTHING in this rental. I want to file a dispute for this fee. I will never rent anything from this location again. This has never happened to me at any uhaul location that I have ever rented from in the past.

Paris CI was not charged fairly. Unless some money is returned to me, as explained, I was charged far more even though I returned the vehicle Ling before it was due, no problem, and u had put in gas. I was charged far over the quote.

Akil GDriver’s side view mirror was busted and unsafe with broken glass hanging on and I couldn’t use it to help drive. It was also a very rough ride and probably the worst uhaul I’ve ever driven. It had no power to climb even the smallest of inclines and struggled just taking off.

karen bOvercharged. I paid 29.95 for 6 hours. I used it within that time. Mileage is right and coverage fee is right. But why did he charge me a $25.00 cleaning fee? He said for not folding the blankets! They were not folded when I got them. I was planning on around 79.00 and it was $105.14. Never again will I go there. Nothing was said about rental tax of $7.60 either. Never again.

derrick wThe truck was dirty with dead leaves and I was charged a fuel charge even though I put more fuel in it than I used. I am greatly disappointed in the overall experience and lack of care.
Kristofer RLock for key release was old and jagged. It took almost 50 minutes to finally get through to customer service and get the key box to unlock. After slicing my hand open twice and my daughter slicing hers once, we got the raggedy lock opened. Customer service was zero help and had a poor attitude and couldn’t care less that I lost a $200 deposit that was paid to movers who waited over an hour for me to arrive with the truck. It smelled like smoke and then you open the back and there is no utility dolly inside after paying for it when I reserved the Uhaul. By far the worst, most mismanaged, disorganized experience I’ve ever had. I will never rent from Uhaul again. Strongly suggest you find better signage so customers can locate key boxes, better locks so customers aren’t injured and required to get tetanus shots, and find better customer service representatives.

tabitha wI registered online to use a truck from the Brentwood location for 9:30am. At 9:30am the online browser said I needed to wait till 10 am because that’s when the location opened. As I check in to pick up the truck the person was taking long and asking questions that were already answered in my registration form. The way he asked the question made it seem I was adding on to what I paid for. He also said he was “confirming” but he didn’t say anything from the information. That was on my registration. This process took so long I was 1 hour behind from where I needed to be. I did not receive the truck at 9:30am which I registered for. I received the truck at 10:30am.
