I called to complain about a $100 charge they charged me for keeping the truck a little bit longer... This is the response I got: This is Uhaul on Broadway. I got your message, it looks like you kept the truck a lot longer because you had it extended until 7 PM and you kept until 12:02 AM today. Uhaul saw that and charged you more. If you have any questions or still confused, please contact the Uhaul Traffic number. We apologize for the inconvenience. Uhaul Traffic (303) 922-8914 This was my reply: So they charged me like $40 more!? That doesn't make sense! To rent that truck for a full 24hrs is just supposed to be $19.99 or whatever! The same thing happened a couple weeks ago when I was using a different uhaul location and they didn't do this! In fact I think I had it even longer than I had yours! And they never charged me $100 for it! They didn't even charge a deposit like you guys did either!!! I bet it's a scam to hurt ppl who need to keep the truck for longer than they think they'll need it! That's shitty business! I'll make sure to give a review and post everywhere I can about how evil you guys are there and how you run your crappy business with hidden fees and horrible business practices! I'll make sure to rave about how the other place did NONE of that mess!!! And if course I've heard nothing back from them! So fuck em'! They don't want to make this right, nor do the right thing... STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! GO TO ANY OTHER UHAUL BUT THIS ONE! TRUST ME! They'll charge and hit you with hidden fees that other uhaul's DON'T/NEVER charge at all! And they could give 2 shits about you or your situation, they'll literally screw you over just to make a little more profit!!! THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF AND A SCAM! with faulty trucks and equipment, and shady handling of paperwork to make sure you can't cover your ass when they pull a stunt like this on you!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! ANY uhaul ANYWHERE is probably better than these fuckers!!
ANTJUAN BThis was NOT the location I was told I would be picking up the truck at. When I did arrive, the agent did an outstanding job, so my issue is not with the service at this location. My issue is that I was not notified in any way until the day before I was supposed to pick up the truck at the agreed upon location several miles closer to my home.
ROBERT HBe honest on the front end and don’t tell your customers that they can drop after hours and then when they arrive tell them the opposite and make them extend their trip
KENNETH HI changed the entrance location on google maps which had the entrance in an alley rather than on Broadway.

Jessica HThe parking lot was so tight we had to shimmy the truck around to back up to the uhaul trailer. We also had choose the rental pickup close to where we lived and the day before we were told it was somewhere else.

RUSSERT SI received a quote online along with my online reservation, thus, the total was $56.22 (not including the total milage to be driven eventually). When I arrived at the location, the U Haul rep redid my reservation or begun it again at the location and the new total was that of $62.76 (not including the totaling miles to be driven that day). The process in general was misleading considering I was quoted one total amount and later having it altered.

MATTHEW SCustomer Service at this location was outstanding! The owner expertly connected the trailer to our vehicle and walked us through all of the paperwork. Unfortunately, UHaul changed my reservation pick-up location unbeknown to me to this one which added 90 minutes onto my already long day. The trailer itself leaked water (it rained hard) and squeaked badly.
Carter PDid not speak with anyone at drop off point, but helpful with phone directrions. Drop off point for U-hual was overun with homeless and gang related types behind u-hual office location. After hours dropoff point should not be recommented. My party was threatened with young gang bangers and sign language inappropriate for my grandchildren that were with me. We dropped u-hual on main street in front of location. I believe the u-hual would have been damaged if left on the back street.

HEIDI BThis location was very, very small. You could hardly turn around in the parking lot. I had a 10 ft truck with a vehicle trailer and it was impossible to turn around. The only thing I could do was drive straight forward and park.
CHARLES WIt’s just a tiny lot but overall a great location. For a U-Haul and trailer it’s kind of hard to park.

Dennis MInside of truck was filthy. The cup holders /dash area was so dirty it wasn’t usable. No where to put my wallet, keys , phone as it was so sticky and filthy. Also they said th tank was half full and for me to return it half full. I put a gallon of gas in which brought it back to half full. I received my final invoice and they charged me an extra $10+ for 2 gallons of gas even though the illustration on that final receipt showed the tank was half full. Seems they charge what they want. I’ve rented multiple times from uhaul locations on the north side of town and never had an issue. Finally, they wait to tell you the day before that there is no parking at this location so I had to scramble last minute to get a ride as opposed to leaving my car. It isn’t in a location where you should leave your car in an unsecured lot which most all uhaul locations have (except this one). They don’t tell you upfront as they know people will go elsewhere. The truck was old and beat up, especially poor suspension, however it got me from A to B. The lone bright spot.
