Dennis MInside of truck was filthy. The cup holders /dash area was so dirty it wasn’t usable. No where to put my wallet, keys , phone as it was so sticky and filthy. Also they said th tank was half full and for me to return it half full. I put a gallon of gas in which brought it back to half full. I received my final invoice and they charged me an extra $10+ for 2 gallons of gas even though the illustration on that final receipt showed the tank was half full. Seems they charge what they want. I’ve rented multiple times from uhaul locations on the north side of town and never had an issue. Finally, they wait to tell you the day before that there is no parking at this location so I had to scramble last minute to get a ride as opposed to leaving my car. It isn’t in a location where you should leave your car in an unsecured lot which most all uhaul locations have (except this one). They don’t tell you upfront as they know people will go elsewhere. The truck was old and beat up, especially poor suspension, however it got me from A to B. The lone bright spot.

DONALD AWe came from Fort Collins and didn't realize Denver had gotten dumped with over a foot of snow the night before. I so wish I would have caught the name of the man who helped us that morning (the only person there, 9am, Broadway Rentals,1601 S Broadway in Denver--contract #24247601), because he was amazing. He was not only positive and kind at the desk, but went the extra mile to help us navigate hooking the trailer up in the snow that he had shoveled out before we arrived early that morning. Once hooked up, he had us pull forward so he could sweep all the snow off the trailer, which was not a small feat considering the amount of snow. He was incredibly nice throughout the entire transaction and got us on our way without issue. We talked about how nice he was for ten minutes. Renting a trailer is typically for an annoying task--moving something--which can be an entire day of eye rolls or arguing. His kindness started our day off with such positivity that we simply couldn't be annoyed by any annoyances that popped up. That kind of customer service makes a difference, and in this ridiculous world we're living in right now, we just need more people like him.
JAMES WI mean, first of all, talk about Clean! What An Extra Delight! U-Haul’s seats are usually itchy and the cabin usually reeks of sweat! The outside windows were a little dirty, but nothing the wipers and wiper fluid didn’t handle just fine, plus I’d rather have the INside be clean than the OUTside! Fantastic. Thank you. Second, the people at this location are Prime! Their example should be followed at every location. It just makes the company a pleasure to deal with, and something like a move, that can be super stressful at times, feel a little better when you end it all on a high note such as dealing with the moving truck company. And for my family there has been A LOT of moving going on (for me twice, this visit was for my father’s, and now Today, literally the next day will be for my mother)!! It’s crazy!! But I’m so glad that at the end of it all I will have the interaction with the workers there [any of them] to smoothen and brighten “the load” of our current chaos. You don’t really know it until you experience it, but it really does make a difference. (And thank you to the young gentleman there who helped me move my bags into the office so that I could wait there for my Uber.) 5 Star, A+ experience! It’s usual at this location. Raises for everyone please, haha, if possible! The workers you have there are worth it.

Roy CThe parking for drop off after hours was a bit confusing as the message didn’t say any street names, but I got it figured out. WS able to leave the trailer and bring the uhaul back separately. It is a tight fit into the lot if you arrive during the week but they will come out and help if needed. Staff were pretty friendly and definitely helpful vis text and in person.

ANDREW MThese trucks are made for moving. Some ppl use them for long distance moves. Nobody should be given a truck that has not been checked thoroughly. Brakes are very important on any vehicle. Going down an incline and the brakes go out is unacceptable especially when the company lies about compensation. What is $100 compensation to pay over a lawsuit for wrongful deaths cause by your truck not having proper brakes!

IBRAHIM AI’ve rented a U-Haul from this location twice in the past two weeks. It’s a family-run operation attached to a local car dealership. Yesterday, I arrived early after confirming via iMessage with the gentleman who runs the place—unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name. When I got there, he was showing a car to a potential buyer, so I headed to the U-Haul office. At first, there was just one other party waiting, but soon, four more groups showed up. A kind woman, with a little boy happily running circles around her, let us all know her husband was finishing up with a customer. Despite the chaos, she jumped in to check everyone in while managing her lively little boy, who walked around like he owned the place. And, honestly, he did—it was clear this was a true family business through and through. Not long after, her husband rushed in to take over, but watching her multitask with patience and grace was a moment that stuck with me. These hardworking Americans, doing it all with a smile, are what drive this country. When I’m ready to purchase my next car, I’ll be calling them first to see if they can source it for me.

IBRAHIM AThe manager was super helpful and the equipment was great. The online process could use some work - I tried to use that and the app was not able to provide clear pictures of my driver's license to the agent online which really slowed things down. In the end, the manager at the desk stepped in and helped.
Robert GReceived a text 23 minutes before this location closed that our reservation had been moved here from the original location we had booked. The text didn't even make it clear the pickup location changed - being from out of state I wasn't familiar with the exact addresses so I didn't notice. The employee offered to open 30 minutes early the next day but the damage was done, our entire travel plans were delayed by half a day which impacted quite a lot. He also told us to return the truck to any location on Thursday but I wound up being charged $55 extra because he never mentioned it had to be 8:30am Thursday and I returned it at 3pm. The dropoff location refused a refund because it was "in the contract" and since these locations are all different owners etc they refuse to take any responsibility.

GERALD WThe parking situation is horrible. We were blocked in for 10 minutes because there is nowhere to park and people returning vehicles blocked us in. Further, I took before and after photos of the dashboard that showed how full the gas tank was, including "estimated miles until empty." The estimated range for the van was 15 mpg and I drove 22 miles roundtrip. At the time of returning the car, the worker asked if I filled the van before returning, which I confirmed in the affirmative that I did. However, my receipt charged me for 2 gallons of gas (note that I didn't even drive the car 30 miles that would warrant 2 gallons of gas). My before and after photos clearly showed that I filled the tank, including the "estimated miles until empty." I called the location and told the worker that I filled the tank and had before and after photos to prove it. He then agreed to refund me. But this should never have happened in the first place.
ANDREA LThe right taillight on the trailer was out. Agent did not seem concerned. It was dirty, but the agent blew it out before we took it, so that was great.

CLAIRESSA CClean location, good staff. The drawback: the facility is mostly used as a used car storage lot, so it’s difficult to maneuver the u-haul truck to the back corner of the lot where the u-haul equipment is stored. I had to fit the truck tightly between two others, which made it hard to take the required checkout pictures. Another truck renter arriving after me had no parking space at all.
