What a joke. Thieves charged a $25 cleaning fee for a piece of paper the size of a nickel. What a rip off they are. Do not rent here.
Eric EMy biggest disappointment is that the UHaul app did not function properly and I did not get an email with the code necessary for me to move forward in the process so i could check the truck in and I was stuck with the $20 admin fee. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me in as many times as I have rented from UHaul.

STACY SI don't know the womans name who runs the uhaul part of ace hardware but she was absolutely awesome and deserves a big shout out. We had a complication with dimensions and what we needed arrived while we were there and she immediately checked it in and let us reserve it immediately on the spot. She could have said no sorry were about to close but she took care of us.
JORDAN F4+ employees standing around but U-Haul “closed” for the next ~hour because the single person who does U-Hauls is at lunch (despite having no such lunch closure on Tuesdays listed on the U-Haul website, and even where it was listed in the store, it was listed for a different time period, so you couldn’t avoid it even if you knew about it and tried).

ERIC SAt return the two men that I tried to get to help me REFUSED!! They said it’s Sunday and uhaul is cooled, I’m standing in the store saying “but you are open” Totally rude and lazy…. Typical todays customer service

Rhecia JThe truck was dirty and had hit something hard enough to tear loose the side panel. It was way out of alignment. The front end was horrible. I'm glad I only needed to drive it 5 miles on town roads. It would not have been safe on an interstate.

MATTHEW TWarn customers that there will be a pending charge at the initial pickup, and then an identical charge after drop off, so for a few hours, until one of them drops off, they will have a minor heart attack.

GREG OOn return, treat customers better and not talk down to them. I thought return key to desk was all needed to do. Had truck for 90 minutes of 4 hour rental. The lady was busy, but rudely said if leave key would be $20 charge or go do it myself. I've rented there before and just had to show photo of milage.

JERRY RThe low oil indicator came on with an audible beep every time we stopped. I felt impelled to check the oil in the first 10 minutes, stopping at at Oil Lube place only to find oil on the dipstick. This stop delayed our moving process. The truck otherwise functioned as intended, although the transmission shifted at odd times. The return process was a little clumsy. People at Ace hardware were helpful at the time of rental and the process went quickly.

Linda COil change light was on and washer fluid was empty. Wasn’t an issue for me but maybe for someone on longer trips. Notified staff and they were very friendly.
John PReserved a truck and 4 dozen pads. Location had no pads and I had to contact other u-haul locations to find them as this dealer offered no help in finding or getting them for me.
Dennis OLocation had issues with the connection to U-Haul. What should have been a 10 minute check out took over 30 minutes. Then we found the truck with check engine light on. Had to come back into the store to find out that it was ok to drive the truck with check engine light on. I don't think this is a very professional image for both Brownsburg Ace Hardware and U-Haul. Also the prior rental of the truck was by smokers and the cab reaked of smoke. Hardware refused to do anything about it. Had to buy our own air fresheners to be able to drive the truck.
