The older gentleman stated that the trailer I rented was scheduled this morning,but was cancelled. I returned the trailer last night,so it could be re- rented, I noticed the.trailer was still at Ace Hardware. My 24 hr.rental was not completely over, so l asked if I could use the trailer and have it back in the 24 hours. They were not agreeable at all. It got to the point of them being rude. Uhaul has just lost a custmer.

ACE Hardware, excellent service! U-Haul app and website, 100% AWFUL! Inaccurate, inconvenient, waste of time. Every time I use the website or app I wonder why am I even renting from U-Haul. Competitors have to have a better system.

We specifically took pictures of the gas gauge so we could put the correct amount of gas back in - especially since it was not full when we picked up the vehicle - only to learn we were charged over $20 in gas - when we called to speak to an individual - they we less than helpful. We rented here because it was convenient - but may not do so in the future.

Hire people who care about customer satisfaction and have good work ethics. There were some cpmplications, and one of the men said "no" no matter what we said or asked. He may have thought he was being funny. When we asked him why he kept saying "no" to everything we asked or said, he said and I quote "Because it's easier." He acted like an arrogant, first class jerk.

You need to improve your self check in via phone. I had my reservation all set and then show up and am waiting during the chat because I needed to give another name and phone number. That should have been taken care of during the reservation if you needed that information. After 10 minutes, I ended up going into the location and did the pick up inside. Your instructions are not at all clear about the process with self check in via your mobile phone. I wasn't sure what to do until the pick up option became available close to the time I was to get the vehicle. I had no clue what I was supposed to do other than I could pick it up using my phone. You also need to give customers some kind of confirmation when they drop off the vehicle that the vehicle and moving equipment has been received. About an hour after I dropped off, a man called from Ace asking where the dolly I used was. I dropped it off to the man running the desk and was told that's all I needed to do. So if they didn't find it, it would have been my word against theirs and that's no good for business. The vehicle wasn't dirty but it wasn't clean either. Dirt from previous users on the floor boards. You also need to display more photos of the vehicles. Like what the inside dimensions of the cargo part is and showing if it has a ramp or not. That would be helpful in picking the right one because I thought mine had a ramp and it didn't.

My truck bed leaked. They gave me a $50 credit, but this didn't cover all of my additional expenses (since I had to make 2 trips to get all of my stuff moved due to not being able to use the entire truck bed due to the leak). I would have been more satisfied if they would have given me an additional $50 to cover my additional costs (including additional fuel costs).
