There were old chicken nuggets left in the truck with boxes behind the driver seat and spilled drink on the floor and in the cup holders. The seats were dirty as well. I get it, but at the same time, it could have been looked over better than it was. I understand they run a business but there was zero leeway in needing an extra hour or two instead of paying for an entire extra day. I have moved several times and helped others move and have never incurred this issue before. If unforeseen things happened, like the first night we had this truck it started to downpour and there was zero way we could do the work needed in that weather. Hence why we contacted and asked them if we could have an extra hour or two on day 3 of the truck. I was told no. Anytime I’ve ever rented from another business that did Uhaul, they worked with our family for zero extra fee or a very small $5 fee. We were moving a lady that literally became homeless due to an arrogant landlord. It was her money that paid for the truck and she literally lives off if $1150 a month of ssdi. We were also “cancelled” with a truck that we never canceled and Uhaul themselves couldn’t figure that out and scurried to help us with this location, so all around it was just a bad experience with the location itself. Uhaul did great in trying to help us even sharing to allow for another hour or two, but they wouldn’t budge. We will use Uhaul in two Avon locations from now on and tell family and friends to do the same! Never one issue with those places

Glenda SMy trip was only 6.5mi and they U-Haul charged me 7.5 mi ( not worth to negotiate I’m ok ) but I belive is was a scam to charge me $ 10/- gas charge is the need it me to put more gas disregard my actual distance. That’s unfair and the rep I call yesterday was snoring and taking naps while I’m on call. U haul can monitor the call. Thanks for your poor feed back.
