I put the exact amount of gas in that I started with. I took pictures for the app, and set the same amount at the beginning and the end. Would not recommend U-haul to anyone as there is always a problem each time no matter what location you use. They also tried to charge me extra for being late because this location is a closed gate area and I did not have the code. I had to call U-Haul to get it.Derek F.

This whole experience was a nightmare EXCEPT for the interactions with the lady at the pick up station. They called and changed my pick up location to over an hour away. They gave me 80 extra miles, but would not give me a waiver for gas. All I wanted was a waiver for at least a quarter tank of gas since I had to drive so far to my place that we were moving from. Customer service on my phone was horrible. Long waits. Wrong transfers. Customer service not being able to help. Uncaring. Sarcastic. I spent $112 on gas because I had to drive a whole hour out of the way. A quarter of a tank waiver would be nice. Customer service CLAIMS that they gave me a discount for the extra miles of $13 I believe. THIS IS NOT TRUE!! Online the price was $125 or whatever it was that I paid. It was $120 something. So let this count was already there. Not because of my inconvenience. I turn in was even worse. I'm not sure if there is an extra section for that, but if there is you will hear about that too. I think I will try another company next time and will not, I repeat, WILL NOT, recommend U-Haul to anyone.Lillian C.
No one was there during office hours and when I called to see what to do to check the trailer in she said she would do it if we just left the trailer there. After 24 hrs i figured out how ti do it online myself because the trailer still hadn't been checked in by the business.Danielle N.

Very stressful. I don't use my internet on cell phone. I'm 71 and not understand how I was suppose to do things. Internet would not down load uhaul. First they wanted us to drive to another town to get 20'. We found 26' in my town. We were helped by a man in OKC who did things over the phone. Too hard for older adults bad experienceSharon P.

I hauled a king size adjustable Serta bed frame. A 5x8 trailer was a great option even though I own a pickup. The trailer was much closer to the ground and the frame taken down into two pieces each piece was heavy. I would rent a trailer again when I need one.DAVID S.

Was told they would not charge my card until I brought the vehicle back. They charged my card which forced me to have an overdraft. Spoke with boss guy he said he would look into it and see if they could do anything. When I turn the truck in the lady at the U-Haul rental would not even tell me if the vehicle passed her inspection. Had issues with after hours pickup box. Had to stay on phone roughly 45 mins to get issue resolvedNIck H.
Reserved a van a month prior to the date we needed it. Called a week later and confirmed it. Called the afternoon before and was told the truck would not be available. We were told to call back and they would see what they could do. We tried calling back several times and nobody would answer. We ended up having to cancel from that location and get a truck from another location. When we tried to return the truck, the gate was malfunctioning and would not open. We had to drive the truck back home. We called Uhaul and they said they would make a note to not charge so we wouldn't be charged the additional mileage. We were also sent a $15.00 off coupon and we were told it would be applied to our bill. The website says they open at 8. When I dropped the truck off the next morning, nobody was in the office. I called and spoke to the person and she said she wouldn't be in until 9. We we're headed out of town and couldn't wait. I explained the situation and was told it would be taken care of. When we received our bill, we were charged for the extra mileage, we were charged an additional day, and the coupon was not applied to our bill. We will find another company to use from now on because this has been the worst experience we have ever had.Tony T.
More information and prep at the pick up site on exactly where we can drop off and what to do when the fro off location is closed and gate locked up with no entry. Pick the drop off location when we reserve the U-Haul. I asked and the reply was that we had to do it online, which didn't work when we both tried several times from our phones. It was awful. We had to call the U-HAUL number 3 or 4 times and talk to 3 or 4 different people before someone finally helped usDANNY H.

No equipment available, furniture pads left in back of truck from previous renter. Manager had no idea they were there. She told me there was no dolly, but one was in a different truck on the property. Manager did not know how to properly lock and unlock back compartment. No paperwork was provided, just keys.Shane J.
Only problem there were not many trucks available. There were only two and one was reserved. So I had to rent a truck much too large for my needs (and more costly). But the manager at the location was very efficient and provided excellent service. So my overall experience was very nice.Steven S.
