It took an hour to pick up the trailer. The place seemed sketchy and chaotically disorganized inside and service was really slow. Person taking payment seemed ill and coughing alot without covering mouth. I got a call a couple hours before our scheduled pick up asking if we could come 2 hours early, and we were orchestrating packing up an estate so it really threw off our day. I'll make a point not to back to that location. Pick up in another town was just fine and what one would expect.AURALEE L.

We were NOT informed about the $42.00 for the Safe Move Coverage which we would NOT have taken as our auto insurance also covers rental vehicles and the second issue is the $10.00 equipment substitution charge. When Courtney called us and told us that the vehicle we were originally supposed to get needed to go into the shop for maintenance or repair and asked us if we would accept the upgrade truck size "AT NO ADDITIONAL COST" we did so with a reasonable presumption that what she told us when she asked would be honored. This does NOT leave those who interact with the public in a good position as it opens what may well be an honest hard working local businessman or woman to scrutiny and unfair critics.carl J.

We showed up to pick up the uhaul, they couldn't pull it up on there system so it took over 45 mins. Then after dropping off the uhaul, we got over charged. I called the place we picked up the uhaul from to get screamed at and told she can't do anything about it I have to call uhaul. I have been trying to call uhaul and the wait time is so long I don't get through to anyone. Every single time I have rented from uhaul I've had problems.Lauren F.

I went to register online. Had to take time to go in location to register anyways waiting in line while cashier had TV so loud didn't even bother to mute it for customers. I was given an old truck when there was much newer one on the lot. Probably 30 of the miles was to get truck to my home and back which is 3/4 the mole cost. Poor online register, poor customer service, poor truck, 3/4 mi. Rate went to driving to and from place.KONG L.

Bubba and Rose took care of me when the Wausau Grand Ave store had over an hour wait, even after checking in online. Your staffing at the Wausau Grand Ave store is terrible. I paid $25 for my reservation and had to eat the cost after waiting on hold an hour to cancel it, even with the "traffic" number that was provided. Bubba and Rose are the best and went out of their way to help me when the Wausau store was impossible to get service at.Christopher K.
I never was even able to pick up my trailer and will end up losing the rental fee. There was a line out the door when I arrived at 9:00, with one person working. People had been waiting an hour for a rental, even when completely checked in a paid online as I did. I ended up renting a trailer from another U-haul at Bubba's Bait, where they took care of me but I ended up paying over $60 for what was originally a $24 rental. I have resigned myself to losing the wasted rental fee. To complete my terrible rental experience and waste of 2 hours extra of my time (I found a trailer at noon for a 9 AM) I waited over an hour on hold with your customer service lines, including the dealer's "traffic" line. Terrible experience, not even going to waste any more time trying to recover my wasted fee. If your company has any customer service you will contact me with your response. Truck was mostly clean on the inside and I am really just disappointed with the quality inspection. We popped a tire not even an hour into the trip and Pomps Tire had to replace 2 tires because the condition of the tires were so poor that he was surprised they both didn't pop. The bait shop was disgusting and I think the people there lived there. I didn't even know it was a uhaul pickup. I lived near 2 different uhaul facilities, yet I had to go across town to this shady place that reeked of body odor and meal worms. The woman behind the desk sat in a lift recliner and couldn't even move to help me or to reach her computer easily. When I asked about the measurements, neither rose nor her male companion could tell me what it actually was so I felt like I was paying $300 for a truck they didn't even know if it was the correct one. Maybe not change the location of pickup last minute and inform the customer that they can perform all check ins online without going in. It delayed everything and made me use extra mileage because I was supposed to pick up in Merrill and drop off in Wausau. Also if a customer were to go into the store, there should be someone there that can pull everything out and have it ready and organized instead of making a very nice woman in a wheelchair do it. And the damage on the uhaul and slipping transmission should be addressed prior to pick up.Nathan H.

Turn the truck into suds nose truck for better turn around in small places. Also give on to get to your place, route to drive the size of truck they have.dennis H.
The help hooking up / installing the equipment was great, but the checkout process was miserable. I had to wait and input all the same information I already inputted into the express checkout on my phone. On top of that, it appears extra towing insurance was added, even though I already confirmed everything I wanted in the express checkout. While the computer was not working properly, which is not the fault of the business, it was annoying and frustrating to be charged for something I had already declined, and go through the whole check-in process again after I already did it through express checkout.Christopher R.
