Booked a long way in advance knowing it would be busy got a call day before telling me all the 15 ft trucks had extended their rentals ummmm Had to move to another location Truck served its purpose it was older , only 12 v chargers should provide a usb adapter that fits Manual locking and inability to control passenger window all irritating but not first world problems Had to stop and clean windows and mirrors and each was dusty Back of the truck had some leaves and a bottle cap

They were late to open, they were supposed to open at 9 am. We had a 9:30 pickup time. We had an appt to pickup food for our pantry at 10 am. It was literally blocks away.

We had a very good experience with our reservation. The lady at the Uhaul office was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend using this location.

The location was great but the truck rental pricing is getting so high that you can nearly buy a used truck or trailer for only a little more. The truck not having cruise control is downright cruel. I've had cars without cruise control, it's not that I can't travel without it, it's that the seating position of these trucks makes for severe knee pain having to modulate the throttle for hours on end. It eventually got bad enough that I had to start left foot braking as my right knee hurt too much to twist to the brake pedal. I won't be renting a truck again. I'll go buy a used box truck or trailer and save significant money in the long run. I was also double charged for the "coverage" in case of an accident. Keep watch of your receipts. I'll be in touch with U-Haul soon to get a refund for the extra charge.

The man was very nice and helpful with unhooking the trailer. The office does not have a sign outside that says Buck Rentals, however there are a bunch of uhauls so I assumed I was at the right place. It is just a little office inside of a Midas shop.

I reserved a 15ft box truck on February 7, 2025...two weeks away from when I wanted it. In the following two weeks, no one...I mean no one at Buck Rental lifted a finger to ensure a truck was available when I wanted it. That is extremely poor customer service.

Location awkward for returns, made much more complicated because the return lot had not been cleared of snow. It was very hard to return trailer as a result. The staff person was VERY helpful, though.

The man that helped us was kind and welcoming. During our trip we heard a strange noise coming from the rear of our vehicle that sounded like a "jingling bell." As it turns out, the small rubber gasket, or keeper, that basically holds the chain in place, had fallen off. As such, the chain on the left side dislodged and was making contact with the concrete--thus the jingling noise. We wrapped the chain around the hitch a couple times then re-secured it in its proper place. No further problems occurred.

I paid $25 for gas myself at the pump and was then charged $40 for gas by U-Haul

I originally reserved and prepaid for a 10 foot truck from a different location than Bucks. I reserved a truck at Southside Rental in Bloomington IN. The day before my reservation, I was notified that Southside did not have a 10 foot truck and I was sent to a second location. I then went to Bucks but they had not been notified that I was coming. They did not have a 10 foot truck either. They were extremely helpful in correcting someone else’s error. I waited while he searched for a truck at other locations. I was eventually provided with a 15 foot truck, which I took because I had no other option. Bucks was super helpful and professional.

Dolly that I rented was not available. This led to me having to purchase a dolly out of my own money, and then had to hassle because I did not receive the dolly but the drop off location expected me to have one. Will not use uhaul again and will not recommend it.

Consistency but it's just uhaul in general. Don't call me 30 minutes before my rental pickup and tell me that the vehicle is not available! I had to get 2 separate rides because I went to the wrong location. The gentleman that were there did what they could. Drop off was another problem entirely. I've never had to wait 30 minutes as the uhaul is scrutinize like a luxury vehicle.

Get someone who works for U-Haul to work at U-Haul. Person said he did not work for the company, could not use the computer inside, blamed us for not uploading our IDs properly when it was clearly a tech issue and the return process was super unclear and tech /app also did not function.

I was the only customer, and it took forever for a simple trailer. The employee assigned the wrong trailer number, in the computer, which caused a big problem at my turn-in location of Fort Wayne, IN. The trailer number he actually gave me was assigned to a location in AZ, and I turned the trailer in at Fort Wayne, IN. The Fort Wayne location wouldn’t accept the trailer, because they had a different trailer in their computer. Not only did the Fort Wayne location not offer a solution, they left me hanging. So I called the U-Haul help center, and they said the trailer I turned in was located in AZ. Instead of verifying the actual number I had at the Fort Wayne location, they chose to call the AZ location to see if they had the trailer. Then the AZ location wouldn’t go look to see if they had it, which of course they didn’t. Also at the Fort Wayne location they told I might be charged several hundred dollars dollars if it wasn’t solved. I eventually told the help center that after a long days drive and loading/unloading I was leaving, and to call once they figured this out. They never called me back with an update. Does U-Haul really want any my business or anyone else these employees need to learn to help the customer just a little bit. From the pick-up to drop-off to customer service no one cared to do their job. Only Shelby (customer service) cared, and she was over ridden by the manager on duty. Totally unacceptable business model U-Haul is employing.

Clearer instructions on where the vehicle will be located. Mine was not located with the other Uhauls. mine was in the front lot where it was not visible to someone LOOKING for their Uhual. Also, I rented a Dolley to be in the Uhual and it wasn’t until I was at the location where I was moving my stuff from that I noticed. I did not have time to run back and grab a Dolley. Due to this company not being ready at the time i set to grab the Uhual I probably won’t be renting anything. 1 and done and that was enough for me. I did call and complain with a representative. They said they would have the manager call me for that location and they never did. The representative said they would refund me $50 for the inconvenience and missing dolley. Have not received either of those. Once again, will never rent from Uhaul.
