Had to check out 2 trucks, first truck was garbage and had shaking in steering as well as jacked up alignment. Was given the excuse that they were all like that. Had to ask for another truck after driving the first one down the street and back after a super slow checkout process. Second truck I got was 1000x better then first truck and was better maintained. Just dumb you have to ask for a better truck and they want to give you the garbage one first. Especially when you trip is cross country! I would not recommend this location as the guy was unprofessional about all the process. Also hired movers from this location. They packed my truck like ASS and I had to repack half of it myself to get all my stuff in it. I would not recommend the loading/unloading team either!!! besides they broke some of my lamps loading them in! Trash!

-The truck was leaking transmission fluid and when this was brought to the clerk's attention he looked at it and put the truck back on the lot probably for the next customer to deal with. -The original truck was not available and I was moved to this location which was not this owner's fault, however, I was told on the phone I would get a $50 refund and the cashier got an attitude and told me "not to start anything with him today because it had already been a day" when I inquired about the discount because all of the inconveniences and trouble renting my truck.

Make are parts are working. The AC in the truck we got didn't work. August in North Carolina is not the time to be without AC. Make use all tires in good condition, had a tire blow out less than an hour after we left for the trip to Oklahoma. Two women on the side of an interstate for over 2 hours in the late morning hours not good. Tire guys didn't even bring tires with them. ??

Honestly, the experience with this location was amazing from start to finish. Truck was clean, everything was explained in full so I wasn't in the dark about anything. The hospitality and customer service from all employees went above and beyond what I've experienced anywhere else. I will continue to rent from this location alone from now on.

Our truck had no A/C for two days nearing a 100 degrees. It would have been good to at least get a discount of $50-100 off the rental. I have no problem with the dealer . They are fine people .

The Buckhorn U-haul team was really great. We appeared to have decided to rent on one of the busiest (and craziest) days they've had in a long time. I think stress might have impacted their attitude (and ours) for a moment - but ultimately they came through and helped us! Reservation was smooth and their customer service through that process superb! The day of the rental was another story. Our rental was due for check-in at 5. The previous rental was supposed to return by 1 Somehow the truck was rented out same-day for "a few hours" in between with the promise that they had to come back on time. Of course they were not! and we had no truck and no options at that point (with our belongings waiting to be picked up). I BLAME U_HAUL not Buckhorn! What company policy allows for such a short window of rental when another one is already booked. Buckhorn SAVED the DAY! Somehow they managed to book us within the hour on a similar truck. U-haul get your act together. Help your community dealers out. They are the ones paying the consequences!

I had no problem with this pick-up site, but they were not my original location. The location I made my reservation at was 1403 S Main St, Lillingotn, NC 27546. I would rate this location as poor (one star). They constantly messed up my reservation and claimed that I did not provide them with all the information, even though I went in-person and gave them all the information they asked for. I made the reservation two weeks prior to when I needed the truck and when I finally got the confirmation, we were sent to Fuquay-Varina and at a different pick-up time than I had requested.

It's not obvious but the 'U Haul desk' is to the right and back wall when you first walk in. Otherwise you'll be standing in line to buy bait or horse feed with the rest of the crowd. :-)

We was very impressed and pleased with their services and will definitely recommend them to friends and family in the area! We are very thankful for them helping us make our move happen!!! While the location I ended up dropping off was excellent. It was not the location that was on my paperwork. Upon arriving at the 105 Dickens Rd. Location in Fuquay Varina, I was informed that my return had been rerouted to another store. Upon arriving at the other location, I was informed that the other store and not UHaul performed the re-route. Was not happy with the extra time and mileage needed to accommodate the original location.

Put jacks on the trailers the dual axle trailers are a safety hazard and too heavy to lift as an individual and not safe having two lift as there is not enough room to safely do it. A tongue jack would easily solve the problem

Where i turned it in at ludowici they never checked it in .main office calling me . I go down there he has went on vacation omen never checked it in didnt know how. Still no refund ..was turned in saturday by 10 am we took pictures since no one there. She said man went on vacation disney land didnt log it in . He should of done it before he left..

I was a bit concerned that the customer service called me directly after I made reservation that where I booked didn’t have the type of vehicle I ordered and after getting it from Buckhorn I received a call from the place I originally ordered from asking me if I was going to pick up my vehicle. Buckhorn store was extremely helpful and pleasant and if I ever have to rent again I will surely use them again

The dual wheel trailers are absolutely too heavy to use without a jack, UHaul should retrofit them or be willing to pay for my back surgery, this is getting ridiculous

When we have rented U-Hauls in the past, we have been able to drop it off at a different location. We moved to a different city and when we went to return it to the U-Haul location closest to our new house, we were informed that we were not allowed to and it was going to be double the price if we wanted to return it to this location. Nobody informed us that we were only allowed to turn it in to a different location and I had spoken with somebody from U-Haul the morning we picked it up. This was a major inconvenience as we had to pay more for the mileage and we only had help for a certain amount of time and this caused us to not be able to get as much done.
