Truck was not swept out before use but overall happy with what I needed to do.
Cheyenne HI initially liked this location prior to May 22. Reserved a 10” truck, the truck was one of the worst I’ve had from U-Haul damage and maintenance wise. It had a dolly, and a furniture mover in the truck that the employees were not aware of. I rented an appliance dolly but I informed the desk that I would just use what was “floating” in the back of the truck. Anyhow, when I returned the vehicle I had driven only 10 miles, with a starting fuel amount of 3/8ths of a tank. When I returned the truck I did not top off the fuel. The needle was just below 3/8ths of a tank so I assumed I’d only pay the extra fee for the gallon it may have used. The desk employee input the info, and the system was going to charge $67 just for gas. I mentioned that it didn’t make sense, and all the employee said was “gas is expensive man”. I said no it doesn’t make sense. I told him that I’d take it and top it off. I ended up putting 3.5 gallons in for $17 and the truck showed half a tank of gas now, which was higher than when I picked the truck up. Their system was still trying to charge $67 for fuel fees. I said no. The desk told me that he’d have the manager adjust the values the next day and email my receipt. Upon walking out, the employee added “Well now we know for next time, fill that bad boy up”. Like no? Your system or inputs were off, and did not line up with the contract’s $6.99 per gallon charge if you didn’t return the vehicle to pick up values. I’ll never come here again.

MARJORIE SThe van we rented was filthy inside and out, thick layer of dust on the dashboard and it smelled old inside. There was no windshield fluid to clean the windshield. This was a new van with only 2300 miles on it and it looked like it was a year old and never cleaned. The manager did give us a discount but the condition of the van was unacceptable.

KEITH MTruck had oil on the floor that some of our furniture was set on prior to realizing it. That oil then got transferred to our brand new carpet in our new house. You might want to put actual eyes on the truck if you didn’t. I let you guys know about it through the app and only got a “we’ll note your file, sorry about that”. But I’ve got new carpet with oil stains we’re trying to get out. Not happy.

LORI CTruck was marked as having a full tank, it was closer to 7/8. I drove to the gas station and put 9 gallons in. Back was not as clean as it should have been. There was a pile of dirt in the left rear corner like it was swept but not removed. The windshield was covered in bugs that were baked in in the Arizona heat requiring significant effort to clean.

DIMITREUS KUhaul location I went to and reserved online for said it had self pick up before the store opened, but turned out to not do self pick up at all. Spoke with a woman on the phone and she changed my reservation to a place that does have it, only to get there and theres no keys in the lockbox. I call again and another woman picks up the phone and she sends me to a different location, only for it to be set up for in person pick up. This didn't work, bevause the store didn't open for another 2 hours. When I called again, the woman who picked up informed me that the keys have to be put in the lockbox the night before in order for anyone to recieve them. This information would have been nice to know 2 times before, it seems like the employees need better training, and the app needs to filter out if a location is not providing self pick up. I ended up having to wait the 2 hours until the store opened to pick up my Uhaul, setting back my entire day. Im unhappy with the service that I have recieved from Uhaul, and will no longer be using their services until proper compensation is recieved.
CARSYN TUnfortunately, I was told that the gas tank was full, but found it was less than full and found that the vehicle was dirty inside and out. I had no time to try to clean it myself, and it was the only van at that location that I could use. I was therefore stuck with using transportation and had to wrap my equipment to ensure that it did not get dirty in transport to my event. When I brought the fact that the vehicle was not full, and that it had some mechanical issues. I was told oh well and was charged without giving any credit consideration. Although the staff was nice and, this time, was open when I arrived I found the equipment not maintained to the quality it should be. I was told to keep my pictures I took to contact customer service. I would like to be contacted regarding my experience.

BLAINE MI’m still waiting for my phone call back after leaving a message two days ago. My mileage was supposed to be included in the deal I signed up for with u haul. I was promised no surprise charges. When I got back with the truck the guy working told me i went 14 miles over which is impossible because I should have had 3 days of miles all included with my deal I was only gone for 24hours. I told the man checking me out about the promotion he said he did not know how to change it in the system but he was going to call corporate and he told me not to worry about being charged. I received an email the next day showing the charge of my 14 miles over charge. Can someone please call me so we can get this straightened out.
