Too expensive. Claims it's $19.99 per day. That is true as long as you don't drive it off the lot. Then you get charged by the mile.

Although there was a mix up with truck size and location, I felt that the customer service was top notch! I will rent another truck in the near future. However, I was surprised that there was no “military discount.”

In the first location where I had my reservation, the experience was terrible after 45 minutes of waiting for the final, they told me that they did not have a system and they could not rent the truck, the people who attended me it was clear that they had no knowledge of work in addition to treat me very badly with an attitude of annoyance and very bad treatment, honestly I have never felt so bad anywhere and so I am letting everyone know that I can by all possible means

I would recommend not to use the mobile app, but go when someone is there. The truck was not cleaned. Windows were filthy, previous user had left his/her gloves in the cab. Check engine light was on the whole trip. The blankets and dolly were not in the truck when I picked it up. Thank goodness that Deanna was there early to help get me the truck and items that I had reserved.

The locations themselves were good and personnel were great. Our overall experience with uhaul was horrible. Our original reservation was canceled two hours before pickup forcing us to make multiple trips with multiple rentals. Will never use uhaul again for moving.

Vehicle was cleaned, but had indicator for oil change that was needed, and don't think vehicles should be rented with light indicators on....U Haul should follow up on these requests by location...doesn't seem it was their responsibility.

When you are confirmed for a pickup before office hours, have the vehicle staged and keys ready for pickup. Vehicle was returned on time but in was billed for 2 days, as if I returned it late.

The office location was clean, well-organized and bright. The vehicle was FULL of pet hair - as if the animal was riding in the front area with the driver. Our clothes and items were effected by this. The office records of the starting mileage were incorrect - which would have charged us an overage of nearly 300 miles if I hadn't noticed. The staff was friendly and but unable to fix the $100+ charge on the U-Haul account. After several days of calling and leaving messages I went back to the location. The staff was helpful and directed me to someone who could resolve the issue. I was told that this correction would take a few more days.

I was very disappointed to be told at check-out that I was all set, then to get a charge of close to $100 on my card the next day. I don't have an issue with the fees for mileage (I expected this one) and fuel (which I thought was about right compared to when I checked out), I simply did not like the "surprise" of being told I was all set, then finding out after the fact.

Toon along time, had paid ahead of time for a 26 truck, was downgraded to a 20, for the same price. I went to pick up and they asked me to pay again. It took them along time to figure out I had paid.

When returning the cargo van I refilled the gas tank to the 5/8's level, as instructed (actually a little more than 5/8). I was charged an additional $7 (approximately 2 gallons) to top off the tank. Just looking to squeeze a little more out of each customer!

Understaffed resulted in long wait, when I Registered via the mobile app, was a complete waste of time. The can was non accessible which caused me a delay in pick up and the keys were not in the lock box but inside the office instead. Upon arrival front office was locked which created a further delay in my pick up which inconvenienced not only me but the place I was scheduled to pick up items from.

The U-haul mobile app is garbage. I had an 8am scheduled pickup, and the app hung on me until EXACTLY 9am when the office actually opened before it would work. Not acceptable. Never using U-haul again.

The representative Deana was so wonderful ! She helped me over the phone with scheduling my order and choosing which truck to rent. I would of rated this EXCELLENT! however the rep Janes who helped me in store was not so welcoming and cold. I rented a dolly and he went to get it , he ran over my foot. He never acknowledged it and I told my husband and we couldn't believe it. When he brought the truck around to us I advised him of what he did on my foot. He then apologized. Maybe he really didnt realize it , but if he didn't then he should slow down..

me and my fiance we're looking for a U-Haul truck we contacted you're Estrella Parkway location the person working that day answered and said they were too busy and they would have to give us a call back they did say they had the truck we were looking for but they would call us back in 15 minutes we never received a call so we called back over and over again no one answered we decided drive to the location when we arrived they had no more trucks available wasted our day very unprofessional

I was issued a 10 foot U Haul truck on Saturday December 1st. I was almost to my house when I discovered the fuel gauge was on empty. I reported it online and planned to add fuel the following morning. When I tried to add fuel I discovered the fuel line had been cut completely through and the gas was spilling on to the ground. I called the U Haul road service number and I was told it would take an hour for a tech a arrive. I purchased materials and made temporary repairs myself so we could stay on track with our schedule. I was still charged the full amount for the rental despite the inconvenience
