The location of the truck and parking was a bit challenging. We checked in with the mobile app. This process took a long time and we still had to go inside to get help from the storage unit employee. We reserved an appliance dolly and we did not receive one, which made our move much more challenging.Stacy T.

Your software ( web page ) on mobile apps is not properly designed. you make the assumption everyone has a smart phone, that the u-haul location has great cell data service...I had to scan my license six time to get your app to accept my images.....it tied up the poor lady at the counter for 12 minutes..she finally called someone else for a workaround...you should provide your users with a webcamm that can do the scanning via their pc...instead of relying on the consumers cell phone...KEN H.

#1. Your man had no idea how to negotiate his OWN computer system. I was there at shortly after noon as promised, and he went out for lunch. I waited 45 minutes for him to return, and then he took another 30 minutes to figure out your system.Yet, you record the rental as noon to noon. It was more like 1:15 when I actually left with the truck. #2. Your email receipt is a lie. You show the fuel level to be less than full. Bullshit. That tank was full when I dropped of the truck. Do you do this to all of your customers? I wil lrent from Penske, or Budet, or Enterprise in the future. I don't like the way you operate. What can you do to improve? Easy. Be honest, which you are not, and be present.......not going for lunch. This dude said I rented at 12 noon. How is that possible when I didn't arrive until 12:15, and HE DIDN'T arrive until 12:45? You are dishonest. I will NOT recommend you to anyone.Gary K.

the person that helped me sign out the truck was friendly and helpful, but the truck was dirty when I picked it up. There was a greasy substance on the floor. I had to lay down old sheets and towels to keep my boxes out of the mess. Also, the cup holder in the cab had cigarette ashes, dirty floor, just generally nasty.matthew W.
It took forever to get the rental even though we did all the paperwork online. The truck was awful dirty and smelled of smoke. Cigar ashes everywhere!!! My wife is allergic to smoke so we had to drive with the window open. This is unacceptable.Frank S.

Fix your computer program! I book this truck on line to pick up in one town, which actually had 2 places along the route I was useing and wound up going a different route. When I went to pick it up all the information in the computer was spot on but it said it was not me. It took about 30 minutes for them to get it straightened out. And I have to say the gentleman checking me in stayed very calm.Lyle S.

Van broke down on freeway. Mechanic told me it was due to a recall that U-Haul never took care of. When I called U-Haul they simply denied they did anything wrong or that the recall ever existed. They refused to pay for my $202 hotel and instead just gave me a $100 voucher to rent another van in the future. Never asked to hear my side of the story, never asked if I was OK from breaking down in a dangerous place at night and never apologized, (this was U-Haul, not the place I picked it up from, the non-U-Haul location I picked it up from was sympathetic but had no authority to help me).PETER A.

Don't make reservations at places that don't carry everything you deserve. The location and staff were wonderful, but I doubt I would use UHaul again. NO gas in truck, air didn't work in truck, had to go to another location for the hand truck.Kathleen K.

Original drop off was scheduled at the xtreme vendor in Allentown, however when I arrived there the only parking was the one on the street and metered (meters in effect) with no clear signs what to do with the 20" truck. Called uhaul from there and changed location to schantz which had parking available off hours. It's a Budget location. Should i have used them in the first place? I lost hours to deal with it. I am sure uhaul can do better. Please resolve for your own benefit. Btw customer service was very friendly and making efforts to help. Respectfully Richard SokalRichard S.

Sharon was extremely helpful from the first time I contacted her about a locker reservation. the drop off of the truck was not a simple procedure as she documented all of the issues with truck I was turning in, including that it had been sent out with an oil change due mid-rental (that was rather disconcerting to have those messages pop up on the screen! & it obliterated the odometer during driving ~ an inconvenience)Maryann N.

The official U-Haul website had the wrong hours for pickup -- it inidicated that I could pick up the vehicle at 8 when they weren't actually open until 9. Also the U-Haul website indicated the availability of moving blankets which they did not have in stock. Sharon the site manager provided her own for me. BTW, she is great and I'd go back there just because of the service that she provided.Robert G.

Tire was low worker told us it is ok just a little low message board in truck was signaling low tire worker told us just go down the street to wawa they have an air pump you can put air in it there. We asked what happens if it goes flat while traveling on highway her comment was it will be okay the truck does not have many miles on it that tire is okay, guess that meant it could not have a nail in or something.TERRY S.

I ordered my truck and equipment online. I was suppose to get 10 blankets and an appliance dolly had neither when I got there. Than it took almost an hour for the guy to figure out how to remove it from my order. So I lost an hour there that I was charged for. I stopped at another location to rent the dolly and it took another hour to even talk to someone to rent the stupid thing. I was very upset with the service I received and I lost 3 hours of my morning that I was charged for which made me day living hell and didn't get done till 1:30 a.m when I was suppose to pick the truck up at 9 a.m. I would have been able to start my move by 10a.m and with all the extra added bullshit I didn't get to start till almost 1 p.m. very dissapointedNICOLE A.
