Overall experience was OK, but a couple things could have made it better. 1.  Make it easier for customers without a smart cell phone to participate in the 24/7 scheme. 2.  The tank was not full when we picked it up outside of normal operating hours. It was about 1/5 of the tank down- we did not know if it was a faulty gauge or if the tank was really not full.  Only when we filled the tank just before returning did we know the tank was not full initially.  The receptionist was unable to adjust the bill.

This facility does not participate in U-Haul’s free month promotion so we wasted a lot of time driving up just to figure that out. People at the facility were very nice about it though

Overcharged by corporate. I decline safe protection online for $28. I did mobile pick up. Low and behold when I got home post returning the truck I was charged for the safe protection. I had to call and wait on hold for over 15 min for an agent to execute my refund . Hopefully ut happens since the agent advised I'd get email Conformation of the refund but it hasn't come yet. My next step will be to file a dispute with the credit card company. I shouldn't have to waste my time calling for refunds when I should never have been charged to begin with. This is agnostic to the location as it was all done online

UHaul moved me 30 miles farther away for the pickup location, the trailer was damaged no functioning properly and I was told to go stop where I was supposed to pick it up originally to get it fixed. SERIOUSLY??

After you changed my pickup location, you did not alert me that the new location didn't open until 9am when my pick up was scheduled for 8am. I had movers standing at my house for an hour getting paid while I had to wait until 9am until this location opened?

Not only was my reservation screwed up three different times, the representative at the Hastings location was extremely rude. She contacted me to inform me that I neglected to fill the truck tank. When I told her that I wasn't the one who picked it up, she proceeded to start yelling at me. When I asked her to not have an attitude with me, she said "Fuck you you fucking bitch". I will NEVER use uhaul again and will make sure my friends and family don't use them either.

It would have been much more convenient to have returned the trailer to Cottage Grove rather than Hastings. Cottage Grove only 2 miles from destination. Hastings was 10 miles one way!!..I was told ther was no room at the cottage Gtove site.

Uhaul dropped the ball and did not check the equipment properly. The trailer had a tail light out and given the size of the trailer, it was not safe to drive. The vehicle lights could not be seen around the trailer, so driving without a tail light / turn signal would not have been acceptable. That being said, Julie, owner of the Uhaul location was AWESOME! She made a special trip to the store to try and help fix the issue and more than made up for my frustration and lost time by offering a very reasonalbe solution. Julie should be commended, as she is the only reason I will consider Uhaul for future moves. I wish more businesses would offer the same level of customer service I found at this Uhaul location.

Terrible experience. Very unorganized. Ended up digging out trailer from snow myself and fixing a safety chain myself. If If had no mechanical knowledge there is no way I would have been able to safety rent this trailer.
