I rented this truck through the 24/7 Truck Share program expecting a quick and convenient experience. Instead, it turned into a frustrating and time-consuming process from start to finish. When I went to pick up the truck, the mileage and fuel level in the app did not match the actual truck. Because of that, I had to contact 24/7 Truck Share support and wait over an hour for a callback before I could proceed. The representative I eventually spoke with was very helpful, but there was little they could do other than make a note in the system. I still had concerns because I did not want to be charged for mileage or fuel that I never used. The truck itself was not in good condition. The cab was dirty, there was garbage left inside from a previous renter, and many surfaces were sticky enough that I ended up cleaning the truck myself before using it. There was no registration or insurance paperwork in the vehicle, the washer fluid reservoir was empty, and an interior trim panel beneath the steering wheel was missing. The truck also had visible damage and pulled while driving. Returning the truck created another issue because the mileage in the system was already incorrect when I picked it up. I was unable to accurately complete the return through the app and was told I would need to follow up again once the final receipt was generated. What bothered me most wasn’t any single issue. It was the fact that so many things were wrong at the same time. A dirty truck can happen. A mileage discrepancy can happen. Missing paperwork can happen. But when all of those things occur together and I spend over an hour of my day trying to sort them out before I can even begin my rental, it gives the impression that the truck was never properly inspected or prepared in the first place. My time is valuable. The entire purpose of Truck Share is convenience, yet this rental ended up requiring more effort, more documentation, and more follow-up than any rental I’ve had in the past. I expect better from U-Haul, and unfortunately this experience left me with a very poor impression of both the Truck Share program and this location.

Ashley SThe Customer service was amazing at this location. I had a 130 mile round trip move set up to handle at night driving on major N.J. interstates (!,78,287, 80 and Parkway.) When I picked up the truck i noticed the windows dirty and the trucked smelled like old oil paint. Both driver and passenger mirror glass were shaking so badly it was very difficult to change lanes safely. I could not get the lights to turn on because the light switch was inside the dashboard. I had to pull over and pull it back through the dashboard in order to get the lights working. This truck should be used only for intown moves, not on highways or maybe think about retiring it it the junkyard.!! Other then that i got my son moved and mad it back home. Thank you

LUIS CLuckily someone called me to ask when I was turning in my rental. I had dropped it off at the location I signed up for and that was on my receipt. The app wanted me to drop off at another place. The location I did drop it at never reported that I had returned it, yet they had the key in the drop box. Thank you to the person that called me and caused me to not be charged for extra days.
Melissa HI rented a truck and put my credit card information down to reserve it. I was supposed to pick it up at 8:00 am but was detained until 10:00. When I went to pick it up the reservation was canceled by the place that I rented it from even though I reserved it with a credit card. Now I am being charged a $20 fee for returning the truck after hours even though the rental could have been returned at any time.
