Gregory RI was given a trailer with a faulty latch… it opened up after being secured. I didn’t catch this until the trailer was fully loaded. Repairs delayed us a full day. It then leaked in a rainstorm during my trip. Gun safe, firearms, and ammo were all soaked.

Kalvin NThe front tires were worn, not bald, my son said they were 3/32, and said i should be concerned on wet pavement!!! The uhaul dealer was great, but Uhaul Corporate should pay closer attention to the maintenance of these vehicles the dealer releases to the public. I put 1500 miles on this van, two 12 stretches, on two different days. Nothing happened to the front tires, but it didn't alleviate my concerns.

JOHN FI called the main number to speak to a customer representative prior to booking the rental truck. I wanted to know how to get the military discount. I was told that can only be applied when I pick it up. I also wanted to pick it up before 9:30. I was told this was what time they opened. When I arrive to pick it up, the guy said he doesn't think Uhaul has any such discount and if so, he has no way to change it. Also, he opened at 7am and I could have picked it at that time. Lastly, the price I reserved the truck went up another $80, because it was quoted without any taxes. What kind of incomplete quote was I given? I have a need for another rental truck in late May/early June, but trust me, it will be from a different rental company.

WILLIAM WThis was my error but didn't realize this truck doesn't have a ramp. I would have definitely went with a truck with a ramp. It was a little dangerous but made it work because it was after hours when I realized.

c lNo one was there that I saw. I asked someone in the parking lot about how to return the vehicle. They pointed me to the orange drop box on the side of a portable building. At least there was a sweet grey kitty there to greet me as I returned the keys.
