Lot of formalities before handed-over as it is an automatic process. If it is manual, hope it won't take much longer than we spent (20 minutes).

Daniel TThey are really helpful there. My beef has always been about Uhaul itself. I would give them a 1 out of 5. They would fail on customer satisfaction surveys all the time. Only care about money not customer satisfaction. I rent almost every week and they dont give a crap. The location though is excellent. I guess that is why they don't have a rating for Uhaul itself on these reviews. The head office on Google also doesn't allow reviews.

Desmond SUhaul makes you rate the location, not Uhaul. The problems are with Uhaul, not locations who have nothing to do with most of the meaningful issues on what customers want. But Uhaul knows this and makes you rate a location who has nothing to do with the issues that Uhaul creates.
Jeffrey RThe mobile check in is a joke. The app doesnt work and links are not active. I had to go inside the store to pick up the keys. If mobile pick up is not available dont offer it. Just say store pick up.
Ali DI rented the truck on line 5 minutes from my house and received a call the next day no truck was available there, I was told the closest rental was in Brooklin a half hour from my house, I was told on the phone I would be compensated with the first 20 kilometres free and a rate of .89 cents a kilometre, I received the discount of 89 cents per kilometre but not the 20 free kilometres. I will be calling in about this. As far as the customer service in Brooklin, very little communication or instructions from the store attendant.
David GUnfortunately Uhaul itself is the problem. Poor customer service. no spare key at location, instead charge over $ 200 to send someone to get the door open. Won't supply a much needed 10' truck to location despite many requests from location. Advertise $ 19.95 a day for van

allan lThis is not a reflection of this specific location. But I was called 2 hours before my pickup time by head office to tell me that my location has been switched to somewhere an additional 40 minutes each way from my house. I had to plead my case in order to get a discount on the mileage which didn’t seem to make much difference in the end. I’ve used U-Haul in the past without issue, but this time was a bit of a headache! This location was fine however and did not have issues with them whatsoever.

MARK BWaiting to hear back from Uhaul. Rented a 20 foot truck. Took a picture of before and after milage and fuel. I drove the truck for 15 miles in total put 10$ of gas which brought it back to where it was( the needle didn't even move) and the place emails my invoice charging me $12 of extra fuel.. I brought them my gas invoice and the guy behind the counter was super rude and said there is nothng he can do for me.. even after I showed him both my pictures.. I hope Uhaul reads this and fixes my invoice..

Justin SShortly after I picked up the vehicle, there was an indicator on the dash stating that the rear tire pressure was low. I tested it at home and found it was 20 pounds light. I pumped it up. No issues. Although, I returned the vehicle a full day early and I was still charged for 96 hours. Was not impressed. Otherwise. Decent experience.

Scott CThe check in was without any instructions or reminders of the vehicle itself. Would have preferred for the attendant to walk out to the truck and offer a demonstration or reminder on how to operate some features for example the roll down door, location of gas tank, mirrors, climate control etc. Good to be reminded that the speedometer is in miles not kilometers. For those of us who don't operate large vehicles regularly the physical inspection with the attendant would have be preferred.
Janet MNormally happy with this location. Truck smelled heavily of gas. Short trip so luckily I could lower the windows. Not the owner’s fault. But I was charged insurance coverage when I specifically said no to it when he asked. It was a small trip less than 20km to move some equipment. What should have cost 30 cost 50. Disappointed with the cost for such a small job

Garfield RThe Uhaul location at 93 Winchester Rd. E in Brooklyn, Ontario is by far the best location I have ever visited. The clerk was very professional and courteous and their vans are always rented out with a full tank of gas which makes it so much easier to bring it back

amin lThe dolly provided was rusted and was leaving rust marks inside the house, therefore we were unable to use it. In Canada, we use kms to measure mileage/distrance travelled and the respresentative at the store as well as the website provided an amount of $o.89. I entered the information on the estimate calculator in kms and was very surprised when the invoice had an amount of $1.43 per mile - this created a concern and I called into the support line for clarification. My feedback would be to ensure that your representatives, as well as your website, make it extremely clear that the billing is in miles at a rate of $1.43, not $0.89, and a conversion is needed when completing the online calculator estimate from kms to miles. There was a difference of $64 that was not accounted for.
