great service from a local u-haul location
benmark gMy booking was for 9am. Nobody showed up at this car body shop until after 930. After the fact, they couldn’t locate the keys to the vehicle. I finally left the lot close to 10. I just received a voicemail three days ago that said I needed to “return the truck immediately and this foolishness had to come to an end”. I was so confused because I returned the truck ON the day I rented it, and earlier than scheduled to be returned. The car shop failed to check it back In after my use.

Rodney SI broke down last night with my kid after 9 oclock last night. The gas gage apparently was broken. Gas gauge was reading like it was full when I got it, but all of a sudden, it went on E, and it just stopped. Sat there for 45 minutes waiting on a service person and state patrol came to the rescue. They attached a tow strap and pulled us off the freeway. Then the officers took us to the gas station, I had to buy a gas can ($21) and then went back, put in the gas and it started. Then went the gas station, put $30 more dollars in it. We still went and got the last load and got home after 1am. Just unloaded it this morning. Now you guys charged me an extra $50 on top of what my original amount. I have text conversation from your dispatch during the whole incident. I was very patient and polite during the whole situation, then I just got my final bill for 147 dollars. I mean, you gotta be kidding me. I alone put $55 in the damn gas tank cause apparently there was no gas. I am not happy
JUSTIN LThe whole experience was a disaster. The truck was old, decrepid, and filthy. The steering wheel is literally falling apart in your hands, gas mileage is horrendous (like 5 miles/gallon), drivers door doesn’t close easily and I could on. Never again going to u-haul!

Brittney RI had a very difficult time with getting the U-Haul. The app wouldn’t capture my location, and it took me 45 minutes to check in. This was the same issue when I returned the U-Haul. The online check- in was very frustrating.

colleen hSimple preventative maintenance on your rental equipment would be a good start. Had a tire blow out and when I got to my destination it appeared another was ready to blow
James CI would recommend, however, I was not told that no one would be there when I returned the truck. I had to download the app and waste my time, which is valuable to me, if not anyone else, taking numerous photos and answering questions. I did not know where to leave the key until the landlord of the building happened to come by. The process to reserve and pick up was fine but drop off ruined it.

John NIt was an impossible location to find when we picked up the truck. Without any clues, we finally found it as the back of the block inside some sort of repair shop. Very poor location to find. The location at which we were told we could pick up the truck was changed and the different location was much less convenient.

Jacob HI didn’t receive the furniture pads as requested and charged for. The checkin through cell phone was a complete nightmare and I was over charged by $104.00 for the rental. I had to night drop the truck. The drop box is located in a very dark part of the location and I was frightened when I had to drop the keys, as someone could have been waiting in that area to rob me. Drop box needs to be moved.

JOSHUA KI would say they should go to a place of business that is open on fridays and saturday mornings to take care of any issues the customer might have. My trailor tire had separation in it's tread from the first mile. I purchased a new tire in Grants NM.

Val HVet your third party venders better. Was at the location for 45 minutes trying to check in. Then the map was so poorly designed that finding the lock box was nearly impossible. When we finally found it the lock was on the wrong box and the code didn't work.

Michael SThe only thing I did not like was, at the end when I went to return the vehicle I didn’t realize that uhaul sent a text that stated I had to be at the dealership and press the return button on the text to ensure it was returned on time. Then the text went on to say I’d be charge an extra $20 if I didn’t do this. I had to drive back at night to press the locator on the text!

John BI was charged $25 for not folding 6 moving blankets. I was not informed prior to renting the truck that this was a requirement. They charged it as a " Cleaning Fee" which is considered a service in AZ. They also charged me a sales tax on the "Cleaning Service" which is a direct violation of AZ state law.
Bill PTank was half full at pickup. Inside of truck was dirty and not wiped down. Had to wait 35 minutes for someone who knew how to process my uhaul order get to work. Got an appliance dolley when I ordered a regular one.

John SThe gaz indicator was below 7/8, and the contract said 7/8. Unfortunately I realized as I was already on my way. I was at my 3rd day of a 4 day move and I was not going to go back to show to the manager. I took a picture if that can be used as a proof. I put 5 gallons of gas to refill to the same level I got it. But the manager charged me for 2 gallons of gas. Really! Not very honest this u-haul company. You milk ever penny you can out of us. Terrible company. I wish there was real competition.

Jeff BI dropped my truck off on Saturday and Monday morning it as never checked in, which obviously was very concerning. I had to drop off in person because my phone was dead.However, after I contacted the location, the owner was extremely helpful and friendly.

Not good!
