The gentleman running the store is super! And he made the process so easy.
EMILY CThe man was very nice but didn’t have everything we needed and told us just to find the nearest uhaul location where we were going and just drop the truck off. My biggest issue was with phone representatives not doing their job and updated the system and in Longs, SC the first drop off location was 9100 Highway 90 Longs SC. The shop was shady and the most disgustingly hateful and rude man ran the place and I felt like my life was in danger by him. I will never use uhaul again because of this unless you get rid of him as a uhaul dealer! Brittany the representative I spoke to set it up for me to return there. I was belittled, disrespected, called a liar and threatened. You should have more information on the places you send your customers. The last rep I talked to was so slow and incompetent in a very dangerous situation which she was told was happening. I should have called the police to come get the truck
Richard Yequipment (5'x8' box trailer) was in great shape. Tires in very good shape and all safety devices in working order. Store location was somewhat limited compared to typical Uhaul store.
DAVID GThe gentleman with the cat at this location (7149 Staples Mill) was AMAZING my only complaint there was the gas tank was almost on E and he did not assess the truck with me..The BELOW stars are from the overall Uhaul experience which was horrible. The Deep Run location is the problem I reserved a truck an entire 2 weeks before my date of pickup and spoke to 2 men at the store to also confirm . They both confirmed that the ONE WAY truck was available for that specific date..the day before around 4 pm I receive a text stating “the location was changed” the representative who did that never called me they just made a reservation for another location which was far away from the storage unit so I called and made the 3rd reservation for One Way with the representative I get to the 3rd location and it’s no One Way trucks available so that store representative had to call in the area local manager who got me to the 4th SMH location with the nice praying cat gentleman who forgot to inspect the truck which was not only almost on E but had a light stay on the entire 3 hour drive which was scary thinking something was wrong with the truck with a possible breakdown..I called corporate that day and who was rude and hung the phone up on me when I requested for management not one time I was rude with him all I stated verbatim “since you cannot help me I rather speak to your manager” then he abruptly hangs up the phone! I had to pay the moving company an hour I didn’t use because I was 1 hour behind running around trying to get an available truck Remind you it was 90 degrees..Unacceptable
ALIA DMy car was towed from the uhaul lot. The tow company said uhaul was supposed to give me a card to put in my windshield. Uhaul did not tell me anything about it
Timothy WExtremely kind and professional. The owner is dedicated to his work. He went out of his way to assist me with my vehicle becoming towed and released funds so that I could obtain the vehicle. Even gave me a ride! Thank you!

Joshua FQuestioned rates, got the insurance claim denial runaround deflection claiming zero ability to influence any charges whatsoever. "Its uhaul not me" and I dont control it, etc. But you can make adjustments reasonably, sir. I was exhausted from moving in the heat and a bit irritated, granted. But guy played the dont attack me card which was not happening. He's perfect for this type of operation though, with misleading advertising for $20/day....read the fine print. Tell us clearly up front people, in detail, not just this is the rate, AFTER piling on hidden varuous speicific fees. Im quite certain this is futile and moot, but I'm happy to post socially and plan too as well. That said the guy was nice and polite, until I Questioned things. Defensive as all get out when I vented a little, toward the ubiquitous you-haul, lol. Its comical really but the van was perfect and served well. Nice guy otherwise. Peace ✌️

Manjil DJust don’t promise customers something you can’t give, he said he would not charge us for a day if we brought it back by the morning, & still charged my card. Then he tried to say that we didn’t return the uhaul when in fact it was already there. I feel like he only said he would give us that day because he wanted us to keep it longer so he could charge us. Recommend if you’re renting from here just know your exact days you’re renting & don’t take any deals from him.
SHI LOffer assistance hooking up the U-Haul equipment to the tow vehicle and checking lamp operation with the driver. Explain the safe and proper way to load and secure the vehicle to the tow dollie.

TRACY GI felt gaslighted by on-site agent who apparently added a safe move service at store that I did not approved. I declined that service at point of reservation bc I had ample insurance. I felt taken advantage of because agent appeared to know I couldn’t track my original reservation and said to take up issue w customer service.
