Manjil DJust don’t promise customers something you can’t give, he said he would not charge us for a day if we brought it back by the morning, & still charged my card. Then he tried to say that we didn’t return the uhaul when in fact it was already there. I feel like he only said he would give us that day because he wanted us to keep it longer so he could charge us. Recommend if you’re renting from here just know your exact days you’re renting & don’t take any deals from him.
SHI LOffer assistance hooking up the U-Haul equipment to the tow vehicle and checking lamp operation with the driver. Explain the safe and proper way to load and secure the vehicle to the tow dollie.

TRACY GI felt gaslighted by on-site agent who apparently added a safe move service at store that I did not approved. I declined that service at point of reservation bc I had ample insurance. I felt taken advantage of because agent appeared to know I couldn’t track my original reservation and said to take up issue w customer service.

ELIZABETH GThis location altered online transaction to charge me double . In addition owner told us we could return to any location. Since contract was altered there was no clear return location and no one knew where to advise is to drop off. We ended up driving an hr out of the way with great difficulty finding location. The final drop off location agent in Myrtle Beach was great ,took care of us and did not charge us extra milage. Stay away from this location 7149 Staples Mill Rd Henrico, VA 23228......Absolutely the worst. We got partial refund but that didntt come close to compensating us.
Janice CFix the app and reservation system. I showed up at 7:40 for a 7:00AM reservation and could not pick up the truck without calling in. The rep. changed my reservation time to 8AM and then the app would work, although it was unclear where to start the process in the app. Rep. recounted she had the same conversation "1,000 times a week". Also, the license validation didn't work because it was behind clear plastic, but that really slowed the process up. Took me over 30 minutes to get the vehicle using the "easy app" to pick up the vehicle.

ASHLEY NThe owner was amazing and very helpful given we were trying to get back home with basic supplies after days of trying to get out of WNC and hurricane Helene. The trailer was rough! No way to padlock the trailer on our hitch. The latch mechanism on the door was not closing, needs replaced. Chains useless. Way too long and would hit the ground and flip the trailer in an emergency.

Zoe BI was supposed to drop off near my house instead I had to drive 20 minutes away. The place was closed and I had to take the pictures that an employee would have had to do. Not really happy with your system. You should have a N/A as an option for after hours.
james tThis is the worst place I have ever visited, the staff is irresponsible and rude, on one occasion I made a reservation at an hour and they never arrived, I had to go to another store, and on this occasion I had a reservation at 7 and the night before he wrote me to tell me that he would be 1 hour and a half after the scheduled time. Everything would have been fine but when I got to the place after connecting the trailer to my truck under his instructions, I had to wait for him for more than 45 minutes to do the paperwork, I called him and his response was "if you have to go, park the trailer and go" I had to wait for him 5 more minutes and I waited for him because I was already more than 2 hours late and going to another place would waste more time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, YOU WILL BE TREATED RUDELY, YOU WILL LOSE TIME AND THE SCHEDULE YOU HAVE..!!
Kerwin GNever actually went into the office as it was not open in conjunction with my delivery time. Now to rate U-Haul overall, I will do my best to never have to rent again as the $1700+ it cost me to rent a 6 x 12 U-Haul from Oregon to Virginia was completely ridiculous! Just because it takes so long to get equipment back doesn't mean that every customer should be penalized and have to pay that much to help cover the cost! When I was initially told how much it was going to cost me, I looked at the representative and said, "I didn't ask you how much it would cost me to buy the trailer, I just wanted to rent it!"
