The truck was clean but we experienced a leak in the ceiling over the cab ("Grandma's attic") and some of our boxes were wet from the rain. Also, in the middle of the mountains, the engine light came on for a while but eventually went off again and nothing seemed to be wrong with the truck, but it was worrisome. I went there and was told I was at the wrong location. I got a call on Friday but they didn't say anything when I picked up. Just a call center noise and no answer. When I did the online check in I wasn't told the location had changed. Terrible experience.STEPHEN P.

Worst experience of my life. Sat in the rain for 3 and a half hours waiting for a lockbox key that they never gave me. Rude manager. Told me my uhaul would be free. Charged me after I went to a new location. Than charged me when I was done for extra km. Will never rent a uhaul again because of this.MILAN H.

We had an issue with the rental not being available at the original pick up point but after we were redirected and given a rental within 45 minutes of the original time it was great. We really appreciate the resolution to our experience renting and the reduced final billing amount. Yes we would definitely recommend Uhaul to people we know. Thank you again. As usual my U-Haul experience was frustrating, slow and incompetent. Why I continue to hope your service delivery and processes should improve is beyond me. Why have an app or a website if I am still going to stand next to the van for 15 minutes â€œwaiting for approvalâ€ when I have already booked online providing credit card info, drivers license and address. Now I have to provide 2 people that you will bother with rude phone calls on top of that! Only to be told this location doesn't offer using the app (after 15 minutes of standing outside). When I go and complete the process inside with agent I have to go through everything I did on the website and the app again. Why do you make doing business with you so difficult? I hope I never have to again, I would rather pay much more to your competition then ever deal with U-Haul. I will share this experience online, in person and for a very long time.Carlo M.

This location was great. My only disappointment was that I reserved in Abbotsford several weeks ahead of the date and I had to go to Chilliwack to pick the truck up. I realize the kilometres were added, but I had to cover the fuel getting back to my home and the extra time and fuel getting out to Chilliwack. This is something the U-Haul company should be looking at....... shunters. Having the customer run around doing it is annoyingRobert W.

Pick up was a nightmare. We were told we needed to pick up the trailer in Port Coquitlam, We live in Chilliwack. Finally, after much time spent in negotiations, we got a call that we could pick up a trailer in Aldergrove. It was an incredibly stressful rental. The previous year was great. Did a pick-up in Yarrow which was very convenient.Mark H.

Let them know before they arrive to pick up the truck, that their credit card will need to have double the amount of money on it than your quote says! I had to take time to drive to Canadian Tire to put more money on my card because I didn't have enough (even though I did have $10 more than your quote) Also, I got badly injured by the big hitch on the back of your truck & ended up in ER getting xrays! Thankfully, I didn't get any broken bones, but my L side is still very sore & I can hardly use my L arm. You need to make a bigger warning sticker on the hitch & provide some type of soft cover for the hitch, especially when people aren't even using it!Joanna B.

Your advertising is very attractive, but outdated bordering on false or misleading rates. I rented a cargo van at an advertised price of $19.95/day, an for about 6-hours use including gas and other charges the rental cost more than $160.00... how frustrated do you think I was? Do the right thing to modernize your business by bringing it into the 21st Century by changing your advertised prices to reflect real costs, or... reduce your final charge to reflect reality. It'll be a long time before I rent another vehicle from U-Haul, and only after thoroughly shopping for competitors in dire situations. Can you imagine $160 for a one-day rental... $160 x 30 days/mth. = loan sharking. It's too bad u-haul started out as something designed to assist people has turned into something rather ugly and deceitful.RALF B.

I just rented a DC4000T Truck. I do a lot of Rentals over the year. My last Invoice # 82024603 I rented a truck for a short 32 mile job. The gas was not quite at what the paperwork showed ( Line before full ) but I didn't think much of it. I put $20 in before returning. When I received my receipt they showed the gas level at the line before 7/8. I was charged another $23 for gas. That's $43 gas for 32 miles. I said before leaving I think something is wrong with your gas guage but obviously went without discussion. If the damn vehicles are burning through that much gas, I think their is an issue.Luca P.
