Staff at this location is very attentive and agreeably friendly and professional. However, back of cargo van had some dirt/debris in it. Seats had pet hair on them that caused my allergies to flare up. Van reeked when I first picked it upâ€”like cigarette smoke and skunk (not marijuana â€œskunkâ€ odor but legit skunk musk). There were what appeared to be cigarette burns on the seats. There was no automatic side view mirror control, which was an odd omission. Key remote with auto door lock/unlock would be appreciated (having to manual lock and unlock doors feels pretty egregiously outdated). Refueling requirements are a nuisanceâ€”surely fuel cost could just be included in the mileage fee when less than a full tank is used. Would rent from here again, but vehicle quality seems to be a bit inconsistent.GARYD JR M.

I rented from Campbell Ave for over 2 years. No complaints really, except for the mice. When I cleaned out my unit, it was apparent that little critters had been in my unit and chew/pooped on some of my stuff. Unfortunately, that seems par for the course. I am very impressed with Cambell's Ave storage location! I also have a storage unit! Whatever you need, Diane and Jessica go above and beyond! Diane always does a great job from reserving the truck rental, adding appliance dolly, she helped me so much today with check in & return inspection. Jessica also answered any questions I had, she added additional items I needed. She helped me so much since I got my storage unit & changing units early spring & all my packing & storage needs! I understand the need to close but if the location is closed there is no person to help. Everyone who i saw pick up a vehicle had trouble and spent up to an hour just trying to verify. alot of what was asked of at pick up time should have been asked of prior to ease pick up process. it was terrible trying to speak to a uhaul rep via chat, difficult to take selfie which i think is unnecessary if you have to take a license picture as well.Lizette D.
I rented an appliance Dolly, and a bag of coverings, and a few box's. Diane from Cambell's Ave storage took care of me, she is courteous & friendly. Jessica also has assisted me many times, storage For needs packing Box's Etc. They are excellant! The pandemic has complicated things, As they You call tell them what you need. I made a reservation one week in advance. The reservation was not kept. I did not get the cargo van that was reserved. I was made to go to a different location for the rental. That different location was not open. I eventually did receive a van. It was several hours late and at a different location. Poor, poor customer service. I will not return as a customer.Peter T.

A few times a year I end up having to rent a truck. Even if the location on Campbell ave is a little further than the other locations, I still use this Uhaul dealer. They're friendly, and I never have to wait in a huge line. Great service!Emily K.

They are going to reinburst my mileage from west sand lake bobs rental and to Campbell ave store. But i dont know why you can rent online for a reservation but then they call you and have to change the time and location after its all set online . They made up the fees on my mileage, amount of gas used, and forged an incident about a dent on the truck so they could make up for a charge they could not make on a key to the truck they lost. I will say the ladies at the counter were very respectful and helpful, but that I was shocked. I believe they did not know I had a pic on my cell phone of the gas level and the odometer reading, because it was set to tachometer. My first and worst experience with uhaul.Martinson O.
My wallet was left in a van that got stolen. Pissed to the max. Had to file a police report for my stolen wallet. I lost everything, id, social security cards, bank card, insurance cards, everything for me and my kids. I would never rent from them againDawn B.

I drove 7 out of 10 miles the gas tank was reading full when I pick it up and drop it off but I had to spend 10 to fill it up again or be charge. Why , how many miles you get per gallon of gas. Rip off.REGINA H.

I made my reservation for 3:00 pm , at 2Car Garden LLC U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer 275 Broadway Menands, NY 12204 (518) 478-6925 Open today 10:30 am - 6 pm There werent anybody there I went to 3 miles Directions 139 Broadway Albany, NY 12202 (518) 449-2034 Open today 7 am - 7 pm They were very rude to me and I was told to go to Rental Pick Up Location Campbell Avenue Storage 525 Campbell Ave Troy, NY 12180 4U-Haul Moving & Storage of Albany I had very hard time to reorganize everything all over. It was a tiring, frustrating, terrible experience Always there were sending me to different locations. I rented trucks from this company and they are always doing samething. They will call you 20 munites earlier to your reservation and sent to another location which is far away from your location to earn money by making you drive more miles, because they charge you .99 cent per mile. Their 80% employees are rude. They told me we can change your reservation any time we want to, means you have no choice you are stuck with us. With my plan I was going to spend $25, but they made me pay almost $60. They are not professinal at all.Yakup G.

Truck dashboard didn't light up, we couldn't find defroster and had to ride with windows open, knob was behind cup holder and you couldn't see it with cup in holder, not safe! Uhaul recommended movers were terrible. OMG movers took 2 extra hours and left stuff unloaded in garage, we had to unload half to reorganize to fit stuff. The furniture they loaded first wasn't covered with blanket I bought and is all scratched and gouged. They threw the trash can and heavy ladder last and on top of my good furniture! The movers uhaul recommended to unload didn't show up so I called and got this obnoxious man in the office who was talking over me and yelling, when I asked to whom was I speaking he yelled "I'm the owner"!!! but wouldn't give me his name. I paused the phone to my friend and driver because I was so upset and he said he was Allen but the owners name is James. Horrible experience with Quest Movers, I had to rent a room with my dog to wait til they could send 2 men to unload. Would not recommend UHaul, OMG movers or Quest Movers, very upsetting during what is already a stressful event. Plus very expensive!Mark B.
