There were several things wrong with my experience. 1) I reserved a furniture dolly and appliance dolly, got to the store and was told they did not have the furniture dolly. I was given a utility dolly AFTER I had to request it. 2) The truck was FILTHY both inside and in the back where my furniture had to be loaded. 3) I called the location to let them know that I received a dirty truck. The man who answered told me if I had a problem I could report it to Uhaul. 4) Finally, upon returning the truck, the same guy (I recognized him from our phone conversation) was rude as heck, took my keys and refused to check the truck in on the spot. I asked for a receipt and was told I would get a receipt in my email. I had to chat customer service to advise them that the truck had been returned because the system still had the truck marked as "in use." I will not use this location ever again or refer anyone to it.Heather L.

Provide paper receipt for drop off. Receiving clerk had no way to print receipt for return of trailer. If customer did not have e-mail, etc., then would not have documentation for return of rental.Simon S.

This is the third time I've used the Canamro location and I am very pleased with their friendly, honest service! I had a bad experience with a location in Denham Springs and had to use Uhaul customer service to solve the problem. I will never use that Denham Springs location again!Michael C.

There was no problem with the location of pickup or with the truck. The problem is I rented a 26' truck and when I showed up to pick it up, the truck was not there. The rental was extended an additional day to the previous customer. This put my moving crew hours behind schedule.Brandon S.

I got charged for going over the alloted miles by 8 miles. Yet the vehicle pickup was not at the location I wanted to pickup which would have avoided going over the alloted miles.Seth P.

Great experience. Polite and quick service. In and out with trailer in less than 20 minutes (I'm guessing) with no reservation. 5x8 trailer in great condition with good tires. What more can you ask for? Returned trailer next day. In and out in just a few minutes. Thanks!Michael M.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-haul. I was redirected to two different locations from the original one I had scheduled. When I got to the SECOND changed address at the time that they said in the email, they said my trailer was in Michigan. Then send us 30 miles away to get a different one. The email BOTH times said that the trailer was "reserved and guaranteed" for me. To send emails like this and have a trailer neither reserved, nor guaranteed, is unacceptable business. They gave us a 50 dollar credit, which does not come close to even out after having to drive 30 miles away to get another trailer. We lost 2 hours of moving time, in which I had to pay 2 EXTRA hours of money to the moving help I had hired to help me get things out of the trailer at my destination. We also were trying to beat the bad weather, which we did not because of the two hour delay, and had to unload all of my belonging in the rain. U-Haul should be ashamed of their services, their notification emails telling people spending their hard earned money that they have trailers reserved and guaranteed, when they don't. I will never use U-Haul again, and will make sure anyone planning on it that I know hears this story and goes with a company that treats their customers with respect and doesn't lie to them.Robert R.

The trailer I got was clean, lights all worked, but the tires could of been replaced considering they dont put spares on the trailers, had 3 bold tires on the trailer which I took on a 1200 mile trip. I would of felt safer with better looking tires. The last thing on a trip that long i want is having to wait on a service truck if a tire would of blew out.Timothy P.

Canamaro location was where I ended up dropping off and the guy there was very pleasant and nice. HOWEVER, I feel I must tell you about the experience at the location I was assigned to before the Canamaro location. Mohs (I don't remember it's whole name). The guy there was very dismissive and was QUICK to tell me he was not going to take the trailer. He stated his lot was full, in which I saw there was enough room for the 5x8 that I had. Well after telling him this is where the U-Haul rep. said for me to drop off, he again told me he wasn't going to take it and I needed to go a couple of miles down the road to the Canamaro location. Well I called customer service back and told them what the guy said and had them to verify the next location could take the trailer. And they were able to. When I get to the Canamaro location and tell the guy who helped me what happened at the other location he shared with me how he has complained about the Mohs location always doing that. So, that was probably the frustrated part of renting the trailer which, but felt you guys needed to knowJames H.
