I picked it up from a store i frequent almost daily. The store owner is not the problem. They have two trucks, the first one had a tire pressure light on AND a visibly low tire. I asked for another truck, he said they both have lights on them. I chose the second bc i did not want to get stuck on the road with a flat tire. The store owner assured me if I got stuck uhaul would help but why rent trucks that both have issues. Cleanliness??? It doesn’t take too much to sweep out the truck from a previous rental, I know bc I had to clean it before I could put my couch in it. Uhaul, you’re a huge operation with a vast legal team. I don’t expect they would be on board with customers being given vehicles with known engine/operational issues. Had i had any issues that resulted in an accident uhaul could post a heavy price. When i told the owner that i had to clean the truck the response I got was, what do you expect for $19. I simply replied a safe reliable vehicle without known operational issues. I’m no attorney but as a legal aide to a very prominent one my opinion is Uhaul should change its practices and never rent a truck you know has lights ablaze on the dash, it makes you liable. I was so nervous driving it but had no choice then to drive the vehicle uhaul knew had issues. Shame shame shame. Kindly, Noah Raper

MICHELLE M$45 charge was on my bill I did not authorize (SAFE MOVE FOR $45) its very concerning as if i had not checked the transaction I would have been out $45. I also had to waste my time to call customer service and resolve this. Needless to say that was very deceptive of the vendor!!
