Best customer service!
SARA HThe U-Haul online needs work. It told me to confirm and send pictures of the truck but wouldn't let me do that. I tired 5 times and it failed to allow the camera to open or even upload a file. The business I rented from was excellent. The people were very kind. The equipment was maintained in excellent shape

kenny bThe “check gas cap” alarm was on the dashboard when I picked up, I didn’t think anything of it because I didn’t know exactly what that even meant. When I went to fill up for gas, there must be a hole in the gas tank or something because gas started spilling out everywhere. I spent $200 in gas most of which that was spilt all over the Gas station parking lot because I left it filling. It just kept filling up, I had no idea it was spilling out from under the truck!! How did they not know this when they gave me the truck? Not acceptable!

On top of that had to call back to get the code for the truck. Overall the phone reps as well as the reps for the other location were awesome but sucked that we reserved the equipment at a location that didn’t have anyone available and had to walk to the other location for assistance then back to get the equipment. The service from UHaul-Corporate was very poor: I wanted to rent a cargo van and was told that all the vans in this area had been decommissioned by corporate and none were available. So I had to spend an extra $100+ to rent a truck. Then they were unable to deliver the size truck I ordered, and bumped it up a size--which meant worse gas milage and extra $ to pay for that. I addition, the truck we got, while it was decent, had no insulation in the back of the cab, and with only a thin fiberglass shell, was EXTREMELY loud. Would not recommend using UHaul and will be looking for other options in the future.

Tammy RThe location was fine, but the person that helped me didn’t inform me of…anything. He didn’t say I should wait for a text. By the time I realized I had a text, the link worked but I wasn’t in proximity to the truck to compare the pictures. I left the page up for later, but when I did start to go through them, the link had timed out and I couldn’t perform the inspection. Had I been told about it, I would have done it before I left the site.
Gary CAfter speaking with UHaul, I chose a perfectly sized rental truck, a place to pickup and a destination for drop off. The dates and times, for pickup / drop off, were also determined. Upon pickup the rental was not there. After driving 15 hours then another 30 minutes from my destination to pickup this rental that's not there, UHaul OFFERS NO alternative, I get a reservation cancellation 2 hours later. Needless to say, the attendants at C&R automotive, the, pickup location worked diligently to help me out, and was able to find me a perfectly sized truck and secure it for me by that evening. No Thanks or Help from UHAUL. I made another 30 minute drive to go pickup the rental. It was in good shape and ready to travel.

Dale SI dropped off at night, so I didn’t meet any staff. The location was well lit & easy to find. The only complaint I have is that the entry/exit is extremely narrow to get a 20ft truck & transport around. I’m an experienced driver, so I was able to navigate it, but someone not accustomed to driving truck/trailer in tight spots would most likely have caused damage. Vehicles lined the building on both sides making it almost impossible to fit the truck. Also, I couldn’t find the U-Haul key drop box, so I assumed it was the 24 hour box, but wasn’t for sure. Maybe a U-Haul label on the box or something. Other than that, the mobile check-in was easy and the location was easy to get to.
Klayton DWhen picked up the vehicle there was no gas in it. Was worried would even make it to a gas station. I dropped it off at the location in Olathe with almost 1/4 tank left and they charged me a fuel charge because I didn't have it at least 1/4 full. WHen I explained when I picked it up it was empty, they said it didn't matter.

tony hWe arrived at our drop off location late. The office was close and we needed to get the combo for the drop box. We call customer service and rep talked us through the drop off process on the phone. She stayed on with us until our truck was returned online and got us the code for the lock. She went above and beyond for us. Great service!!!

rick kWas closed Friday night when I dropped off the trailer and closed Saturday and Sunday. I went on line to the link in your text msg but was not able to complete the process. I do have photos of the trailer at the drop off site.

Zachary RHonestly the arrangement of the lot and entrance/parking if the Uhauls, while I was leaving I was blocked for 5 mins because a truck was renting an enclosed Uhaul trailer and blocked the path out towards the street.
