The staff at Canyon Storage are awesome. The office is very nice and clean. Didn't look like other sketchy places I have rented from in the past. I will rent here from now on. However, the truck I rented was not in great shape. While it was clean, it was brutal to drive. The suspension is totally shot. Every bump on the highway felt like the truck was bouncing off the pavement. Luckily I only had to drive this thing a couple of hundred miles. If I had to go further I would have turned around, returned the truck, and canceled my work trip. The last rental I did from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City was in an almost brand new truck. Maybe I'm spoiled by that experience, but this truck either needs major service or needs to be retired.

ANDREW Rsomeone had been smoking in the cab, which permeated the whole cab, making my clothes smell just as bad. Also, I feel like there were cats in the cab as well, as I kept sneezing. I think it wasn't cleaned out and wasn't ready to be rented to a new person. When bringing the truck back, the man didn't smile or greet me. He just took the key and shrugged me off.

JOSHUA ZHi. Cheers: Staff was friendly and the equipment was new and a nice ride. Jeers: Van cab wasn't super clean, and I got charged $15 insurance even though I opted out when I made my reservation. I'll still come back and rent here.

ROBERT MCheck to make sure there is washer fluid before letting the truck out!! I easily could have been killed in this situation. Not good at all.

Grayson GThe truck was great. The location mistakenly charged me for missing equipment AND charged me the difference between the estimate and the actual - double dipped. All told almost $500 for what, with actual mileage should have been $95. While the woman at the location was incredibly helpful acknowledging their mistake, she had to call the regional manager Troy. I have never been so disrespected. He was abusive, talked over me and implied I was lying about the second charge even though I had my bank app open showing his employee the two charges. It is now a week later, my bank has gone into overdraft and I am in serious financial trouble over this. I do not understand why what should have been a 5 minute, "oh! We messed up, so sorry, let us refund you $400" has turned into a week long battle. My bank is working with me but this shouldn't be their problem either. I simply want my money back, happy to pay the $95 for the truck. I suppose disputing the charge with my bank and small claims may be my only recourse at this point. So unfortunate.

However, I couldn't find the amount of gas I needed to return anywhere. It would be helpful to have that information in a more obvious place. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Lillian AThe problem with this weekend, was my son came down from Blackfoot,ID.. We had set up the reservation a week before. Time was Critical! We received the notice of where to pickup the truck. It stated that we could pick up the truck at 10:00 am. We got there at 10 to 10:00 am. The strip mall that the truck was at, it was parked in front of a business that said “The Revered Church of Christi”. At about 15 minutes after 10 come, no one had come to open the business! We called the number on the reservation, and the man that answered the phone, told me to give this business another 15 minutes. We had people waiting at my house to help load! At just after 10:30 Icalled U-Haul again! This time a woman answered, I gave all the information AGAIN! The lady told me that the best she could do, was to get another truck, but it would not be available until 3:00 pm, or we could drive it50 miles North, there was a truck that we could rent there. We lost the help that had come to the house, they had no more time available. My son had to stay over another day, I had just had back surgery, and I couldn’t help load the furniture. He lost a day of work! Would I recommend U-Haul to anyone? Not on your Life! I have Never experienced more Shitty Attitude than the people that I dealt with that Day!!! Hal Wasden

Patrick SMore attention to detail. I was given contract paperwork for a different serial numbered trailer. I called and asked for a corrected contract be emailed, but never received. Massive confusion and stress thru out the entire rental process. I should have received some form of discount for the time and trouble spent calling and talking to numerous UHaul personnel over course of three days.
