It seemed like the lady had never rented a uhaul out before. She read directly from the script and did not bother to wait for my response or care when I responded. She was great on the phone as I was late to pick up the trailer. In person she was more concerned with answering her phone and ignoring my responses to her questions to be overly concerned with my rental. I have rented a number of trailers from U-Haul and this was by far an away the worst experience I have ever had at a rental location. I will never rent from them again.John I.

I originally wanted to rent an open trailer that was on hand, but when the attendant tried to set up the contract he was not able to rent it on a one way trip. So I had to rent an enclosed trailer and because of this I broke a part on one of the items I brought. Why one way rentals on open trailers is not allowed is puzzling.ARTURO M.

When I called to make a reservation over the phone the guy I talked to made my reservation in another state so when I went to go pick up my truck I was unable to get a rental at my first location then I had to wait 1 1/2 hrs to be able to get another truck and I had to go pick it up at another location so I was extremely frustration that someone messed up my reservation in the first place I had paid for a full day of rental for a 10ft truck and was not given a full day I was called 1hr before my time for return and was told they had booked my truck to someone else and I was to bring the truck back at 3pm but I had paid to have it til 4pm so not only did I pay for a full day I had to wait 1 1/2 hrs to get my truck and I had to take it back 1hr sooner because someone else had double booked the rental I had already paid for I'm am extremely frustrated with this situation and I don't understand how someone can book a truck and promise it to someone else when my time for the truck wasn't even up I am not happy with everything that had happened moving is already stressful enough without having all the issues I had to deal with Uhaul messing up my reservation and cutting my time off that I rightfully paid for. The woman at the facility greeted us by yelling at us to make sure our dog didn't trample the flowers - our dog was no where close to the flowers. She continued to be rude because we were dropping off at a different location and we couldn't find our contract. She was very put out by our presence there. The problems continued with the issue of the gas. We filled up the tank till the gas nozzle clicked off. The needle didn't go all the way to full - it was at 7/8ths. The woman told me we owe them another $30 because we didn't fill up the tank even AFTER I explained to her that it stopped at 7/8ths. I had to contact your 800# where Crystal explained that it's due to the heat (it was 96 degrees out) and the fumes and told me not to worry about it, the fee will be waived. Well during the time it took for me to be on the phone, my husband took the truck and tried again where he was able to get a few more gallons in. The needle was now at full. This woman told me "see you didn't fill it up" accusing me of being dishonest. I told her what Crystal explained about the heat and not to be so indignant. She called me rude so then I told her- in a rude way to hurry up and let me take my flower tramping, aggressive dog home. She gave me a dirty look where I proceeded to tell her to stop giving me a dirty look. Oh yeah she accused my dog of being aggressive earlier (she's a nine month old puppy that had to stay outside because she wasn't allowed into the office and was nervous - probably sensing I was irritated). It was the most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced and totally tarnished the Uhaul name for me. We are mocing again in six months and I will think twice before using your company again.DEBBIE B.

It took me almost 2hours to get my trailer. The gal seemed to have way to much difficulty in putting things into the computer. Could not figure out how to split the payment onto two different cards. If I hadn't needed the trailer so bad I would have walked out. Then I ordered two dozen blankets and only got one dozen. Which I did not find out till I was in coeur d alene. Do a proper job of checking equipment before renting it!! The auto transport had a visibly bad tire, three apple sized bulges on the tread and side wall!!! The district manager had to drive a tire in from twenty miles away to fix it putting us a day behind on our move! and the gas was lower than the contract said, 1/8th of a tank low! boo a very unpleasant expieriance!LOUIS A.

It took over an hour. I had been in before and reserved the van, dollie, etc. so there was absolutely no reason for it to take so long. The paperwork was wrong. I was given a bid for the dollie at half the price I was charged. The insurance was half again as much as the insurance bid even after I let them know that my insurance would cover my car and my belongings.There was nothing good about the process. The prices changed dramatically and I had no recourse as people were waiting to load and drive me so I paid or tried to pay and went.JOANNE R.
