I almost was not able to get the uhaul app on my phone when i was returning the truck after hours. I was not sure if there was some other way to check the truck in without the app. if there was, i was not aware of it. There should be some way to check in from the internet.

Regarding the location cleanliness and invitiveness, it is a greasy and cluttered auto parts and repair shop primarily, and the lobby/helpdesk was also cluttered and dirty and inoperative. Regarding personnel helpfulness, the first person I talked to had no clue what to do. The second person (who the first had to drive away and return with 15 minutes later) was, indeed, knowledgeable of the uhaul system and was friendly and helpful. This may have been a temporary or unexpected bad morning for Cap N Auto Parts. However, the person who did know the uhaul system and could help was not available (which was a 15 minute delay). Then their business computer was unworkable in that it could not access the uhaul system. When the knowledgeable person arrived, it was another 15 minutes before my rental was finally checked in as returned because she had to copy my receipt and hand write the trailer numbers then log it into the computer later. When I did receive the emailed receipt after I had left, I noticed that it was logged in at 18 minutes after the scheduled return time of 11am, so my credit card was charged by uhaul an extra day ($29.95). After the helpful person manually checked the trailer in (before the business computer was operational) I unhooked the trailer myself (no big deal, just speaks toward lack of customer service. However, in her defense, she was overwhelmed having been called in from another location to bail out Cap N Auto's unpreparedness). Regarding the extra day charge, I had, in fact, arrived one hour ahead of the scheduled 11am check-in time, but due to the lack of preparedness and extenuating circumstances, I'm guessing that the uhaul computer system automatically charged the overage because it wasn't logged in until 18 minutes after the due time. By then, I'd already left, and was too pissed off and already behind schedule to go back and point that out. Consider it a lesson learned to turn in my future uhaul rentals at another location.
John FDrive it 7 miles had it three hours was charged over $70 when I was told it was only $57 the customer service was very slow took over two hours to apply and rent a U-Haul and my card was charged $100.00 I'll get a refund this week maybe I took it back sweepd out and more gas than it had when I got it over all that should not be a U-Haul location

DWIGHT SFriendly people. I just didn’t know what to expect or do once I arrived. I’m glad I checked in online prior to arrival because I think it could have been a hot mess otherwise.
Jared HTook a little time to get thru the drop off because we had to download the app on our phone. Then we didn’t have good cell service. Would have been nice to know ahead of time that was an option so we could have prepped. But the sign and directions out front were of great help. We were able to complete the drop off on our phone.

CHARLES BNobody at this location knew anything about my reservation or even what to do. The person in charge was not there and was not returning phone calls or text messages. It took me over an hour and a half to get in touch with the regional manager who could then Accept my payment.
