Lot was full when we arrived with truck after Uhaul requested us to drop off here instead of the gated storage unit with an actual person we were originally at, just 11 miles away. They are closed on Sundays. Thought I'd be given a $90 discount, cost me $60 plus hours of my time. When we pulled in ON TIME and circled around building, lot was full of trucks and trailers, no where to park. Closed on Sundays. Another lap around and one of the Uhaul trucks back door flings open, 3 dudes jump out. Inside is a mattress and tons of garbage like they were living in it. A Wilmington police car pulled in and 1 of the guys takes off. Office takes off after him. I spend the next few hours trying to download the app and take pictures of where I squeezed it onto side street. ONLY to be told I have to pay $60 before I can actually return the truck because NOW it's an hour late!!!??? WTF. I would have gladly paid the $90 and left it at the original location I requested where our storage unit is and not wasted my time and put myself in that type of situation!!
Bryan SThe rep at this location is very knowledgeable and helpful. However the truck that was assigned to me didn’t have any heat and my child and I was FREEZING during our travel. Was not happy about that at all. I would like to speak to someone about that as well.

BEVERLY BIt was Sunday so I knew no one would be there not a problem. But the driveway was on an incline making it difficult and they driveway was narrow.

Angel CHad to leave key in drop box because they closed at 5. When I called the next day I was told it hadn’t been returned even though I received a confirmation email it was returned. It took 2 phone calls to finally resolve that it was there!

Thomas SIt was a bit disturbing that the location was closed when I returned the truck. I know it was the Friday before Christmas, but it was 2:00pm when I came by. There were issues withe truck and I was a day late returning the truck. I had to call customer support at that time and again to explain the charges made to my account. None of that would have happened if someone had been at the location to help me. Otherwise it was a decent experience.

ashley fHorrible experience. Mobile check in was difficult- website would not recognize my location and the store was closed. Once I got the keys, I discovered all the tires were very low on PSI. One tire was almost completely flat. I had to wait 45 minutes for roadside assistance. Once he arrived it took another almost half hour to determine he didn’t have the equipment to fix the problem. Another team member had to meet us to change the tire which actually had a nail in it. All in all it took me over 2 hours to be able to leave the rental location since they didn’t have a similar vehicle I could take. I would never do another U-Haul rental from a location that is not open (and this was during normal business hours).

ROBERT KMobile pickup did require more than 10 minutes. I would recommend that customers are guided to arrive 15 minutes early so as not to cut into rental time.

Kevin CI was charged a cleaning fee for a completely clean truck. This charge is not authorized and I am disputing it with the credit card company. I will continue to write negative reviews wherever possible until this is reversed

ROBERT DI did the 24/7 mobile app drop off because it was a holiday and my drop off location was closed. Well, the app kept glitching and wouldn’t let me upload any pictures of the rental so I had to reach out to a representative to get everything squared away. The next day I got charged for a cleaning fee by the drop off location because “the cargo area was dirty.” The only thing that was transported in the cargo area were 2 couches, that was it. I know for a fact I left that truck in good condition. There are a lot of un-housed people that hangout around this particular drop off location, so the only thing I can think of is that maybe someone spent the night in the cargo area and left it a wreck because I didn’t have a lock on the back of the truck. I didn’t bother contesting the cleaning fee because I didn’t want a headache. But it’s really annoying being charged for something that doesn’t make sense.
Leah RAll four tires on the truck I ran it were under inflated. The tires were rated for 85 psi. The closest one to that was at 72 I believe with the lowest one being 23 psi. I was also overcharged heavily, and I am currently working to have that taken care of.

Marjorie MI originally dealt with the Monkey Junction U Haul for the truck. I was told that I needed to use the 24/7 online service to obtain my truck on Sunday evening. The online assistant informed me that the owner failed to leave the key, so he had to redirect me to the 2445 CB Road location. Luckily it was also convenient and I was able to get my truck. I was disappointed with what happened at the MJ location but overall satisfied with the service due to the assistance from the online service.
