The lock on the back of the truck was difficult to open; install a better lock because if this was after hours, I wouldn't have been able to take the truck. The woman at this location is really on top of things and she was impressive. I will rent here again because of the service.GEORGE K.

Cape Fear Appliance came through for me when the originally scheduled drop off location -Earl's Wrecking -refused to accept the rental trailer. I was told that "We aren't taking trailer returns". Returned with a smidge under 1/4 tank because the needle looks ok and was charged $50+ dollars for 1/32 of gas! Seems like a tourist trap to me. I've made several rentals in the past month or so and this location will make me look at other companies it's so shadyKENNITH D.

The lady that checked us out was very unprofessional. She used curse words and complained a lot about past customers etc. She was very short with the way she treated us and complained constantly about everyone coming in at the same time and people being at the door waiting for her when she came to work etc. She explained that she would charge us if the truck was not cleaned out so we made it a point to clean it out and made sure no trash was left in it etc. she still charged us $25 cleaning fee and I know good and well that truck was clean when we brought it back. We didn't even keep it the full 24 hours. We took two loads of furniture and that was it. I will not use this location or Uhaul again for that matter. I've used other truck rental companies in the past and never had any experience like this with them.Terah W.
To explain about taking of all the pictures that the company asks. Not ALL people have access to this even though most have phones that do. My mom doesn't. She's older and you need to keep things simpler.Jamie S.

I initially got to the location, the lady seemed to be disgruntled and impatient. I was in my car talking to my uncle trying to decide which vehicle that I wanted to rent. She was outside and asked if I was going to rent a Uhaul, I said yes and I would come inside in a minute. She went back to the Uhaul she was moving and made a face similar to someone who was impatient. I tried to be courteous by saying I wasn't ready to go in yet and would in a few. When I did go in it took a long time to do the paperwork due to the computer not working correctly, this has happened before when I have rented from this location and would think it would had been fixed by now. During processing the paperwork, the lady made faces and remarks about the computer taking a long time and how the morning got started at 8:30am. I didn't say anything because of how I was treated initially outside. To be honest if another Uhaul company had a van, I would've left and went to another; but no one had one. I tried calling other Uhaul companies that was close. When I've rented before even though the computer took a long time to process the people working there was pleasant and didn't make impatient remarks or faces. I was unhappy with the service of the lady working there. If she was upset at someone else, it's shouldn't had transferred to a paying customer. Thank you, Mary DonnellMary D.
