This is not directed towards Capital Storage, but is directed towards U-Haul Corporate. My contract was listed under the name of one of my authorized drivers (I am the primary account holder and I picked up the U-Haul). For reimbursement purposes with my company, I needed the contract changed to have my name and information listed on the contract. This change could not be made, even though it was a fault of your own company. I am disappointed in how U-Haul Corporate handled the situation.Brian O.

The lady was very nice but the trailer was still covered in snow and nothing done about it until I showed up. I had to wait quite a while. Once they got it out, they got it hooked up for me and were helpful.Dianna S.
The inside of my truck was really dirty. I put my purse on the floor and when I picked it up there was gum or candy or something stuck to it. Other than that, the back of the truck was great!Deanna F.

The desk person didn't know how to use the computer software and messed up the reservation. It took several phone calls to other locations and corporate and nearly an hour to be able to get my rental!!!Chloe S.
The physical locations are not the problem. The uhaul website is poorly configured in that it does not CLEARLY state at which location a given type of vehicle or trailer is located. If the system is "smart" enough to know that a type of vehicle/trailer is not available in the greater area, it won't let you choose it. So then why does it present a list of locations from which to choose when it knows that the item is not available at that spot? I ended up having to drive 30 minutes out of my way just to get a trailer because the website appeared to show it available in one of 10 locations. This is why I hate uhaul. Unfortunately there is no alternative for renting a trailer one way that I'm aware of.Michael N.
The front computer was out of order. The employee had to use the computer in the back room. The employee did not have much knowledge of rental process and made several calls over the phone for assistance. I was not provided my moving blankets i reserved but, was still charged for the blankets.. I called for a refund and they said " I will receive a check in the mail". They also said it could take weeks to arrive. I'm not satisfied at all. I don't believe I will ever receive the refund. P.s. This is the second u haul rental i have had this month and the worst service yet.cole V.

Rented truck in the location I wanted to pick it up at on Chatham Rd, was told I had to hold to a different location for the truck Not informed ahead of time. Got to Capital Storage waited on a customer who came in after me & they knew it. Suppose to get a 2 wheel handtruck truck, saw the lady walk away from the truck assumed it was loaded & drove only to learn I didn't have the hand truck. This office had just updated their credit card reader. It didn't work. After about 45 minutes of them trying to get my payment, they agreed to take a check. The people were apologetic and tried hard to make this work ... but it took way too long to check out the trailer. They graciously did not charge me for the 24 pads I had requested - appreciated. But, later, when I unwrapped the bundles, there were only 12 pads. That necessitated a call to ensure their records reflected the correct number of pads.Lawrence G.

Have the right truck in the right place. Had to drive 35 miles to pick it up, then spend for gas and take the time to drive it where I needed it. I have two Uhaul sites within three miles, but had to get the truck 35 miles away.DARRELL O.

The girl clerk at the counter was unprofessional and did not hesitate to even exhibit some attitude. It will be helpful going forward for Uhaul to train clerk like her and make her/them understand the value of customer proper and professional treatment.DES' A.

The attendant was very rude! I feel like I was over charged. I drove to Jacksonville, IL and back to Springfield, IL. That's 33mi there and 33mi back. I was told that I drove 81mi! The truck felt like it was going to break down; it wouldn't start twice! They need better equipment and a new attendant!AAISHA H.

I selected this location because the web site said I would receive one free month rental of a storage unit. When I contacted them I was told "we don't do that". I then contacted the main U-Haul number and got NO satisfaction for them either. I WILL NOT be renting from U-Haul again.BETH B.

The lady where we picked the auto hauler was very nice, it looked too have just been returned and she wanted to make sure it was cleaned off, not a big deal but in this day an age it was great too deal with someone that knows what customer service actually is, I belive she is an asset to that location!JOHN T.
I had to ask the site individual to attach the trailer to the vehicle. He was unable to connect the electrical adapter to the vehicle and told me to go to another site to buy a new on since he had no parts. On the way to the other site the trailer came off the hitch ball. I was able to stop the vehicle, lift the trailer and connect to the ball, cross the safety chains correctly. Fortunately I was travelling on city streets when the trailer became unhitched. The electrical connector issue was simply inserting the adapter correctly ... no new adapter needed.Frank P.

Very rough front desk person. AC on truck did not work on the truck and I did not catch it until the truck was loaded up. Pretty much sucked for 2 in 95 degree heat.PAUL Y.
Recieved phone call two days before scheduled pick-up and told this location would have vehicle. We show up at location and there is no vehicle for us and management staff was rude and not helpful. It took 3 hours of our Saturday to finally get a vehicle but we had to drive across town to get it due to an employee error at this location.
