Check in was not pleasant. Received no documentation which resulted in an hour waiting on the phone to access online! Had to request blankets that were on the order. Was rudely informed that being a few minutes late on return would result in a 24 fee! The other incredibly frustrating process was check-in. Returned the trailer after hours and at first, could not access the online procedure and the "location" confirmation. Then could not attach requested pictures due to a problem with the website. Tried three different phones and spent 45minutes struggling with drop-off process! Having a paper contract and return procedure that didn't require using your difficult site should have been on option!!!J F.
Always under staffed. Location is great for me but being on hold for 20+ min to make a reservation then waiting 10-15 to pick up. So I rent a trailer for 1.5 hrs, I've spent half that just getting it. It's not the employees fault it's the company. â€œTo provide a better and better product and service to more and more customers at a lower and lower cost" factor in customer time and you might have a great slogan.SHENAN G.

Go back to the policy of filling the gas to return the van. Loan the van out the same, and stop being less-than-honest on why this old standard has been disappeared by your company. You will always get some free gas with this current policy, and frankly you insult your customer with this.DAVID M.

Never had a complaint about U-Haul rentals until today. Been several years since I've rented a vehicle and I must comment your (new) fuel policy STINKS! It used to be you picked up a rental with a full tank of gas and you were expected to return it with a full tank of gas or pay a high fuel fee charge. I picked up a rental today that had Â½ tank of gas. I was well over half way done with my use but needed to refuel and ended up returning the rental with nearly a full tank of gas--AT MY EXPENSE! If there had been some way to siphon the gas from the rental into my personal truck, I would have done it.DAVID M.
Worker was rude and unhelpful. Worker did not properly chain trailer up and I had to correct him. This could cause other motorists to be unsafe or possibly get a ticket. The trailer ratchet straps were threaded through wrong and were not inspected prior to renting/ last rental.HALEY C.
