Check in and out was a NIGHTMARE!!!!! I will NEVER rent from uhaul again!!!! the phone check ins were ridiculous!!!! And the location didn’t check the truck in till 36 hours AFTER it was dropped off!!!!

The rental location was moved to Cappy's to "ensure equipment availability." When I arrived, the truck was missing the moving blankets and the furniture dolly. When I approached the worker at Cappy's, I was dismissively told that they don't work for U-Haul and don't have the supplies there. He did take the time to try to remove the charge for the missing supplies, but was unable to.
Bryan BIt was an after-hours drop off so I didn't go inside and there were no personnel. But it was easy to park in a spot and the key drop box was easy to find.
SUSAN ANo one to assist set up with trailer to my Jeep. Tongue weight had to be close to 200#, and it was laying on the ground. I had to find scrap wood to block it up little by little. The trailer was stored in a pond of water. Oxford U-Haul had to help remotely. Overall it took over an hour to rent the small box trailer that I did all myself.
Steve PI was unable to complete check out online. For whatever reason the app would not allow me to choose the rental location. It provided 20 other local places but my location was not an option. Had I arrived after closing I would not have been able to check out and retrieve the key. The return process went smoother but asking the customer to submit multiple pictures when it is pouring rain proved frustrating.
Richard GWoman was very rude when we checked out. She accused us of not maki g a reservation and had no record of us taking the trailer..we did in fact have a reservation and…and employee helped my husband when he picked up..she and he both took pictures to verify. I didn’t care for the woman’s tone when she told us we did t have a reservation…we even showed her the co formation email we got.😡🤷🏻♀️
Paul MThis is the second time we used this place for a U-Haul. Both times the guy opening (same guy) was late. We tried renting online to pick up before opening but the link wouldn’t read my location right. Had to figure that out. When we finally got the box number and code, we struggled to open the lock. Directions missed pushing a small link that opened the lock. Guy who opened was frustrated showing us how to do It because he had a lot of people waiting. Location is very convenient.

John BLocation only had (3) trucks, all 20', I needed a 26', but I was stuck with 20'. They also had no moving blankets, NONE. Dropping off after hours was arduous. We needed to take pictures so many things, odometer, gas, front, back side, etc of the truck. We found ourselves tramping through bushes and tall grass trying to get all the pictures needed. My son ended up with a tick from doing this. Next time I'll go to Home Depot.

paul mThis is a small location at a used car lot. It is perfect for what it is. I only rated it as average because it isn't a super store. They are very friendly & knowledgeable. Excellent experience.
Michael SThe truck had a dolly and blankets inside which took up space and caused me to have to work around it in order to load it. I paid for a 15 foot truck however I did not receive the full 15 feet. And, I had to be careful not to damage the dolly and blankets. This is not an acceptable practice.

Richard DIt was a small used car sales business which was closed on Sunday, but I was able to drop the keys in the box and the location was perfect for me. I do hope that I don't get charged for the one toll I had to go through since I left the truck with 1/4 tank EXTRA of (very expensive!) gas. But overall a great experience and perfect for my needs.

PAUL PStaff at location was not helpful, did not properly inventory items for uhaul customers. Had to carry out items because staff was insufficient at the task, staff was rude and not in a good mood. Probably the worst uhaul experience I have ever had.
RANDALL CMake key code for lock box more visible on the confirmation. I lost 3 hrs of work time due to no key code.
Edward BThe customer service here was outstanding. The Uhaul I was assigned was old and rusty and she offered a newer uhaul with less than 30,000 to us instead because she knew we were moving from MA to SC. That put my mind at ease.

James TWe could not get the app to work on pick up. It kept telling us we were at the wrong location. Fortunately, the owner of the location showed up and helped us out. He stated the app always does that and he's reported it multiple times with no resolution from U-Haul. He was able to get us the keys and get us on our way after a long delay because of the app.
Mike WWent to drop off the trailer as the attendant was leaving he asked if we did the online drop off when we said no we forgot to. He said you need to do that first and drove off.
Billy MRental Agent, although friendly and personable, was not fully trained to deal with the UHaul process. For example, when asked if she was sure the unit we were renting was indeed a 15’ truck, she said “She wasn’t sure”. We were not called the day before we were to have picked up the rental vehicle as instructed in the email we received. I had to call them…and had to leave a message, as no one answered the call. For the cost of utilizing UHaul for a cross country move, a dolly should be included in the overall price. The unit was received clean and appeared to be well maintained. With all that said, I would use UHaul again in the future if needed, and would recommend the rental dealer to my friends or family.

Dale VI had great difficulty with filling out the form for return because the shop was closed. It took at least 30 minutes and 3 phones and an ipad to validate the location. Finally 1 phone validated that I was at the correct location for drop off. Then I was able to complete the drop off.
Christopher BTJ was a big help and very patient with all of my questions. We would rent from this location again and glady refer our family and friends.

SHAWN BThe UHaul website is horrible for uploading photos upon check-in. I lost 30 minutes of rental time because that's how long it was taking to check-in via mobile. The rental office completed the check-in process for me in a matter of minutes so I could be on my way. Tracy and TJ had great customer service and were very helpful!!

Both pick up and drop off took over 20 minutes because the software wouldn't accept my photo of the truck. We used two different phones with full service and still didn't work. I wouldn't feel confident using any U-haul again

Ethan BPick up and drop off went smoothly. Being an offsite situation for the convenience of not having to go to the nearest U-Haul facility is a plus. The negative is less oversight being away from the corporate situation in regards to cleanliness and care of the vehicles. My use of the truck went smoothly and I would rent there again.
KURT Jvery inconvenient that the truck rental does not include a 2 wheel dolly and moving blankets any more. I had to bring my own 2 wheel dolly and the guy there was nice enough to lend me a few moving blankets. you are charging more and more money these days and are taking away items like these that used to be included in the rental of a truck. now u charge more for the use of the truck and then want to charge more for renting a 2 wheel dolly and also more yet for moving blankets. what a sham! next time I will explore more options for renting a truck....just not worth the money anymore to rent from you guys!!!!

Ronald CThe store is supposed to be open at 8am - that's why I chose it. He arrived at 8:15. I was supposed to drop the truck off at 8am the next day. I'm standing in the parking lot at 8am by myself. He didn't show up until close to 8:30. We talked on the phone and he told me to drop off the key in the box and I'm done. If that's all I had to do, that would have been nice to know the day before. If he is supposed to be open at 8, then be there at 8. Don't make me stand around and wait in a parking lot, not knowing when (or if) you will show up. That's not terribly professional.
Dean MNot sure if it was the "alternate location" or the scheduler, but got a call the afternoon before pick up that it was at an alternate location 40 minutes from my home, not 10 - resulted n ride concerns, a 3 hour delay, and waited 20 minutes for the attendant to show up - seemed surprised I ws there - not a good experience at all and resulted in needing to drive during rush hour on Rt 93 which I had planned to avoid with an early start until the alternate location was introduced. The experience didn't seem like the customer (me) was considered. The folks were pleasant just seemed surprised and unprepared I was there

Dennis NWe had a little snafu with the Billing of miles when I brought it to the attention to the owner of the business he was extremely helpful. He pointed me in the direction of how this problem would be resolved. When I talked to the people in customer service they resolved it quickly and with great professionalism. William M. It was a life-changing experience. I have never been so happy with u haul service like this. TJ was very helpful and customer service was exceptional. I had originally booked the trailer in Worcester at the Belmont Street location. After waiting in line for over 2 hours I was disappointed to be told that I would have to drive 20 miles going to another location.( I also understood that with Covid 19 it was understaffed.) On a positive note, it was a good thing I discovered TJ at Cappy auto. very friendly guy. I will always call him first for my future rentals.
