Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! I wish I could rate this location ZERO stars. Nothing but issue after issue. We sat at location for over 30 minutes. I said hello to an employee, as he walked by, didn't even acknowledge us, kept walking. We finally had to go find an employee to help us check in. She was nice, but broken English, so you don't feel 100% that you are understanding each other. I had a dolly added to my reservation. They did not have one. Was told to go across the street and ask the big U-Haul location if they had one. Employee did not walk the truck with us. Just handed me a piece of paper & keys that had the gas & mileage marked. Truck was dirty. Had broken glass throughout the back of the truck and onto the ground outside. There were multiple nails and screws we had to clean up, as well, before even pulling out of the lot. I rented for 2 days, due back on Sunday. Location is closed on Sundays, so I asked broken English how that would affect my reservation since they were not open to confirm the time/date/and cleanliness of the truck. She replied, " no worry for you, I will fix reservation on Monday when I come to work". I returned the truck on Sunday, per my contract. A WEEK LATER broken English called me and asked where the truck was? Huh? I told her I returned a week ago, as promised. She then said, "OK but where dullie? I reminded her that they did not have a "dullie" when I picked up the truck, remember? You told me to go across the street and inquire there. She replied, "OK", and hung up. A little while later I was emailed a final bill. It went from $150 to almost $800. I immediately called the location and asked what in the heck happened. I reminded broken English that she was supposed to fix the reservation the NEXT day after I returned it. I was told to hold on and then hung up on. All calls back to the location went unanswered. Right before business closing time broken English called me and told me "you fix." Nothing more, nothing less, just "you fix" no matter what I said. I called U-Haul customer service 3 times over a week's period (I was told to be patient on the 1st call....they have 72 hours to investigate). Each time customer service told me that they can't do anything, the District Manager is the only person that can correct the problem. I finally got the District Manger to take my call and approve the refund....On a positive note, all of the customer service reps were very professional and really did want to help. The District Manager was kind but obviously spread too thin. I would 100% STAY AWAY FROM RENTING AT THIS LOCATION. Car Wash and Detail 4800 Babcock St NE Palm Bay, FL 32905
