Getting keys after hours is terrible business office is not open till 9am so had to wait for code there is lack of communication on how boxes are numbered effidenticially as where was told box 3 code it went box numbered 1so had to try several codes and positions to finally get code correct to right box.Mary B.

I ordered (prepaid)furniture pads. Was rerouted to this location (30 minutes out of my way)due to equipment availability. No pads were available there. I then had to drive to another location out of my way to get furniture pads. We also had issues with water leaking in uhaul from rain. Was just a a tough rental this time. If the equipment is listed and available to order on the website, make sure it is available upon pickup/rental. I needed some extra equipment and was able to reserve it butb upon my arrival it was not in stock. Not having that equipment made moving things extra difficult for my movers. If we had known ahead of time we could have made other arrangements to purchase the equipment elsewhere. Other than that hiccup, the truck was great. The customer service was great and the people were very friendly and helpful.Latisha S.

The only problem I had was the lack of furniture dollies and furniture mats. However, Cardens Gift Shop had the truck I needed when I needed it. They provided excellent service!Andreas F.

Carden's location was wonderful! However we had a 15 ft truck reserved at Vintage in Childersburg, AL initially. Went to get key out of lock box and unable to retrieve. Called u haul and was informed that although we had a reservation and confirmation number, there was no key in the lock box and we would have to go to the next town and wait an hour for another smaller truck - 10 ft. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and will never use u haul again. I have two friends who recently had similar problems. We received a $50 credit however this was insufficient considering that we had to change the whole structure of our move due to time spent with unnecessary issues and a smaller truck.Jason H.
We had a 9am reservation 3 days previous to pickup. It was moved to 10:30 which wasn't a huge deal. We got it and got about a mile down the road and it breaks down. Called the place we picked up, she said call the 800 number and that was all she could do for us. We called and stayed on a wait for 32 mins. Went back to the place we had picked it up and barely made it back with the uhaul bc we had no idea what else to do. We had taken off work and on a huge time crunch to move. They couldn't help us other than said to call the number. Finally got someone and they said the dealer should be able to refund or give us another truck. She said she had no idea how and continued to say she couldn't. Finally someone walked her through it but we had to call and talk to them and get them to talk to her bc she wasn't doing anything to help. I did get a little ugly bc I don't understand how after being a dealer for 10 years they don't know how to do a refund or swap the truck. If we had more time off and better help fixing the situation I would have been more understanding. Then when we returned it, we were almost charged the whole amount again and never received a phone call with info like the mobile drop off has said so we would know what the additional cost would be and to make sure we weren't charged the whole amount again.William L.

The after hours pickup process was a hassle and very lengthy. After speaking to 3 different operators I was finally able to get the code to get in the lock box for the key.Paul S.
Truck needed a oil change, shifted hard out of first gear and wasn't what I reserved. Also didn't get the appliance dolly I reserved one week prior I got a utility dolly that didn't work out nearly as well.Dohnovan W.

I will not recommend UHAUL to anyone!! I paid $90 dollars for being over mileage!! The comment above will explain that 42 miles times .79 cents per mile that was not my problem!! NO MORE UHAUL!!!STEVE H.
