The cab had muddy floors and there was trash in the cab. The dolly I ordered was not inside, and I had to go back in to get it.Darcy C.
Carden's location was wonderful! However we had a 15 ft truck reserved at Vintage in Childersburg, AL initially. Went to get key out of lock box and unable to retrieve. Called u haul and was informed that although we had a reservation and confirmation number, there was no key in the lock box and we would have to go to the next town and wait an hour for another smaller truck - 10 ft. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and will never use u haul again. I have two friends who recently had similar problems. We received a $50 credit however this was insufficient considering that we had to change the whole structure of our move due to time spent with unnecessary issues and a smaller truck.Jason H.
We had a 9am reservation 3 days previous to pickup. It was moved to 10:30 which wasn't a huge deal. We got it and got about a mile down the road and it breaks down. Called the place we picked up, she said call the 800 number and that was all she could do for us. We called and stayed on a wait for 32 mins. Went back to the place we had picked it up and barely made it back with the uhaul bc we had no idea what else to do. We had taken off work and on a huge time crunch to move. They couldn't help us other than said to call the number. Finally got someone and they said the dealer should be able to refund or give us another truck. She said she had no idea how and continued to say she couldn't. Finally someone walked her through it but we had to call and talk to them and get them to talk to her bc she wasn't doing anything to help. I did get a little ugly bc I don't understand how after being a dealer for 10 years they don't know how to do a refund or swap the truck. If we had more time off and better help fixing the situation I would have been more understanding. Then when we returned it, we were almost charged the whole amount again and never received a phone call with info like the mobile drop off has said so we would know what the additional cost would be and to make sure we weren't charged the whole amount again.William L.

The after hours pickup process was a hassle and very lengthy. After speaking to 3 different operators I was finally able to get the code to get in the lock box for the key.Paul S.
Truck needed a oil change, shifted hard out of first gear and wasn't what I reserved. Also didn't get the appliance dolly I reserved one week prior I got a utility dolly that didn't work out nearly as well.Dohnovan W.

I will not recommend UHAUL to anyone!! I paid $90 dollars for being over mileage!! The comment above will explain that 42 miles times .79 cents per mile that was not my problem!! NO MORE UHAUL!!!STEVE H.

I had no problem with the location. I received excellent customer service at the location. I did have several problem afterwards. The truck ended up breaking down. The second truck that I picked up from a different location broke down. Then I had to get a third truck from a third location.Paul H.

The service rep was excellent, but the truck I was given drove like it would break down any minute. The front end was out of line, the valves were rattling loudly.I was very dissatisfied with the vehicle. The after hours check-in was miserable. It took us nearly 1 hour to get the truck checked in online. We first had to watch a video to see how to do it. We then started the check-in process and one of the first items was the location finder. There were no instructions on how to activate the location finder on our phone. After two calls to customer service, we finally got through to the remainder of the check-in, which was ridiculous. I will find other rental agencies when I need a rental. If there are no other alternatives, I will never again rent from Uhaul with after hours check-in. Your after hours check-in has insured that this customer will do everything possible to find another company to rent from in the future.Jimmy H.

Tell people that you all can't put their money back on their debit card until 3 to 7 business days. Recommend that people pay with cash. I used my debit card and I've never had a problem with money being put right back on my card but for some reason I have to wait 3 to 7 business days and that was all of the money I hadRegenia D.
