The employee(s) took a long time to respond to my chats and I had to call them. The keys were not in the box as instructed and I had to wait for the employee to bring them to me. This place is extremely small and not really equipped to handling large trucks. The truck was surrounded by tree branches, making it difficult for me to assess its condition. I had to pull the truck out so I could look in the back and cargo area.Richard M.

The lady name NiNa, who was at the counter, was not helpful at all while we were checking in. She kept talking on a phone and made us to wait forever. She didn't seem to happy working there and she resisted assisting us when our pickup time had already passed 18minutes. I even asked her politely that we were in a hurry but she gave me a look and didn't even try to answer me. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION and Nina needs to get a proper customer service training. Hate this location and so dissatisfy with everything about the experience here.Stella O.

I booked a 15ft U-Haul 2 weeks ago and confirmed the reservation promptly on Thursday before a Saturday move. On Friday night, my husband received a notice that the pick up location moved to a U-Haul place 15 minutes further from us in Euless. When we went to pick it up at this new location, the woman spent 15 minutes on the phone answering calls for a towing service before she decided to assist the 3 customers waiting in line. Then she told us she didn't have our reservation. We drove to Grapevine (the original reservation location) only to be told that we were in fact on the roster for Euless but had been upgraded to a 20ft truck (something which was left out of the notification the night before). So, we drove back to Euless and the woman gave us the truck. Moving is tough, having to deal with this unprofessionalism made a difficult move even more difficult to deal with. The truck we used had mechanical issues. Sound was coming from the drive train / wheels. The front desk was friendly and professional.Esther T.

These greedy tow guys man...Got our truck at 330 on Friday and was told to bring it back by 10am the next day. Got it there right before 10 and they said they'd email me a receipt. I get the receipt and was charged twice for the rental fee and safe move!!! I called them and a different person than i was dealing with said "sorry, nothing I can do, call 1800uhaul." I'm tired of these lame contracted places with uhaul. Penske all the way from now on!Emilio H.

They have no parking. Not only is there no place to leave a car while using the truck, there is no place to return the truck. They have space in front but is filled with cars that have obviously been sitting there for a long time. In back of the building they have a lot inside a fence that is mostly empty that looks to be several acres in size. Every place with a parking lot within a half mile has sign threatening to tow away cars.mark K.

When i went to pick it up their computers were slow so after waiting 30 minutes i said i would come back to get it. It was finally ready an hour and a half later. Then we i brought it back i only went 10 miles and they charged me $21 extra for gas, which is absolutely ridiculous for only going 10 miles!!! I am very disappointed with the service and i will never use this again!! Not professional at all!!John F.

Scary place with a bunch of cars that had been towed, and another bunch of cars or junk behind a run-down fence. Security cameras all over the place. The building is not well maintained. The customer service was good, but it looked like a place you'd get mugged if the sun had gone down (which it does at about 5 p.m. in the winter).Michael C.

Corporate/independent should have explained location was changed via phone call. The time that was selected was not available and was known 2 days prior. On the day of, the location was not open until an hour later. Overall poor. Would not use u haul againedward M.

I have been renting from Penske and they do several "customer friendly" practices. They allow for a few hours over 24 hr rental without charging for 48 hours. I requested day and half but was told U Haul would not allow. My fuel charge was very high, and not fully disclosed when I rented and there was a CREDIT CARD Fee over $10. It made my rental $60 more than Penske so I won't be a return rental customer.Dana Y.

I had made a reservation on Friday 2/24/2017 at 3:00PM for a 15 foot truck- pick up would be for 10:00AM on Saturday 2/25/2017. I did the early check-in on Friday when making the reservation, this was guaranteed a "fast and easy" pick up (this was NOT the case). I also paid online for the truck rental that Friday when making the reservation- they had deducted the money that moment. I had called Cardinal Towing Saturday morning at 9:00AM to just verify that I had a reservation at 10:00AM for pickup at the address online- the lady answered the phone, put me on hold for 5 minutes just to come back and tell me yes. So I had used the website's address for Cardinal Towing (this was not correct)- I had to call the phone number and they had given me a different address. I had gotten to the new address for Cardinal Towing at 9:50AM on Saturday 2/25/2017. This was 10 minutes before my reservation. When I got there- it was just me and my wife. The gentleman took my Drivers License and around 10:20Am there was a discovered problem. Him and another gentleman were not communicating with me what was going on. About 10:30AM, they had given me a set of keys and a piece of paper with milage and gas amount and told me to go check the truck and make sure the milage and gas matched the paper. I had went out to the 2 trucks and the key that opened and started the 1 truck did not have the same information as the paper. I had gone back inside and let them know of the issue. The two men went back onto the computer and phones and at about 10:45AM, I had asked them to explain to me what was going on and why it was taking so long. They said it was an issue with the truck- not with them. It wasn't until 11:00AM, AN HOUR after my reservation, that I had gotten the truck. What was so frustrating was that there was a woman that had come in a little after 10:00AM for a 10:00AM reservation- she had made the reservation at 9:30AM on that Saturday 2/25/2017 for a 15 foot truck. She had gotten her truck and gotten out by 10:30AM. It would have been nice if the workers checked the trucks ahead of time and made sure that everything was okay (or that it was not) before the time that the reservation was made. This was extremely frustrating to prepare for something so well and have a business fall so short.Samantha S.
I dropped off the tow dolly on Saturday early so I could unload my cargo at my new apartment. The Uhaul mechanic, Marvin Kemp (and later a gentleman named David) were telling me how lucky I was since the right front tire was NOT strapped down, and the left had quite a bit of slack in it. I took pictures, and Marvin took pictures for proof. It was suggested that if I have a mechanical problem with my car (tire rods, out of alignment, etc.) that I may need to look a legal concerns for damage because of Cardinal Towing's doing. I will drive my car for the next few days to see if any problems appear because of this. I have pictures.Phil W.

The only advice I have is not for the particular location, but for uhaul in general. Please advertise correct prices. The 15ft truck is advertised for $29.99 a day, but after driving it from one location to another only 25 miles away, it ended up being well over $100..nicholas G.
This location does not look or feel safe. It is operated with a 24 hour towing company with very limited lighting. The personnel there (management), after hours, are extremely rude and threatened that if I did not give them my copy of the contract or place it in the key drop box, U-haul would charge me. The manager refused to provide his name, fax, and an email and yelled at me the entire time. Not once did I speak to or deal with him in such a disrespectful manner. I haven't seen an extra charge on my card, but this place should not represent U-Haul in any way.Reginald L.
Extremely poor service. I had a 0900 AM pick up. Checked in on line, but I got to the pick up address, I could not find anyone. They've moved to a new address and the address at the reservation remained the same. I end up on a wrong location with no car to go to the new address. I called the cistomer service and they insist that i reserved it on the new address. I have an email confirmation to show. They should have investigated it forst rather than telling im wrong. The gentleman who helped me was courteous, attentive and professional. Another gentleman who was working at the location was also very friendly and inviting. My poor review relates to two factors. First, the cab of the UHaul reeked of cigarette smoke which was repulsive and nauseating. I was unable to escape the undesirable smell during the extent of my rental even with the windows down on the highway. Perhaps there should be an option for smoking and non-smoking rentals. Second, I was unable to park my car at the rental site. This nearly became a huge inconvenience, but I was granted permission from a neighboring business. This type of information MUST be communicated prior to rental. Had I known this was the case, I would have rented from another location. Fortunately, improvement and correction of these issues is attainable if desired.Timothy S.

I rented it from another location on the website. When I arrived at that site, I was informed I had to drive 30 miles away to get my trailer. When I rent something, you should know whether that location has the product, therefore I wouldn't be driving 90 miles to get the product.Gregg R.

The manager did not explain anything to me regarding going over 20 miles and the extra fee for going over. She didn't explain anything. Took my card and gave me a receipt and keys. I had 2 charges on my account and when I called back only then was I told about going over 20 miles there a extra fee. No i would not go back to this uhaul location nor would I tell anyone to go to this area.. You guys need to better train your employees to explain to your customers. Instead of printing a receipt and adding extra charges at a later date.marie H.
