Check to make sure everything requested and paid for is available. I paid for an appliance dolly and it wasn't in the truck
Dean CPick up location was in an area with poor internet access. The U-Haul app or website wouldn’t work. It took me an hour and half to get this U-Haul. The pads I ordered weren’t in the U-Haul and I couldn’t talk to anyone at this location.
Norma Darrived early for my pickup, but unfortunately, the process was difficult to navigate and frustrating. When I called the company for assistance, I was told they were closed despite there being plenty of time before closing. I also asked for guidance, but all I received was repeated uncertainty with responses like “I don’t know.” This location turned out to be very inconvenient, ultimately setting me back by 30 minutes. I hired movers and paid a significant amount to make my move as smooth as possible, but this experience made it far more challenging and costly. I feel that I was charged more than what the service was worth, and I did not receive the level of service I expected. Given this experience, I am disappointed with both the location and the results, and I will consider other options before returning to U-Haul in the future. This was by far the most difficult move I’ve ever had.
Sara FWasn’t there at store open, made me wait 45 minutes after my reservation to even start helping me. Was telling me I was checking in wrong despite needing the clerk to give me the keys to the truck.
Elijah LI had the absolute worst U-Hal experience ever! Before I even stepped foot to grab the U-Hal I had spent hours on the phone with them because my U-Hal kept being relocated. I was promised by an employee that it would not happen again and it did. I was told I would be able to get a dolly but when they relocated my vechile no dolly’s were in the area but I was still charged for one. My U-Hal was relocated 3 times to the most sketchy block of land in the middle of no where were a group of people lived. It took me 45 minutes to even get access to the keys because U-Hal had not approved my application yet. Once I got into the U-Hal it smelled like pee but we rolled the windows down and kept driving. We get to our first stop and come to see a mouse crawling around inside the front of the truck. The mouse did not want to leave and crawls under our feet inside the van. The next day the mouse pees again and so the U-Hal smells even worse. Then I go to return the truck the next day and again I’m in a super sketchy area that I felt so unsafe. 2 men came outside of there car to come chat with me and thank goodness the manager of the tire shop came to my rescue and saved me. Then I got charged twice instead of once for my U-Hal. Worst experience of my life!
Lilian HDifficult to get in and out of the parking lot. I was told someone would need to drop me off and leave because they couldn't park anywhere. I was told that the owners wanted me to learn how to do everything on my phone, but they had never done it before and couldn't help me. The dolly was not secured in the truck and would roll around and make a lot of noise. The lot, being so small, made the return process very difficult and I was forced to spend quite a while moving cones around and praying I didn't hit anything.

LUIS BThe email notifying the customer of this location being their pickup location should include instructions on self pickup. My email didn’t mention a self pickup so by the time I downloaded the app and checked in, waited for approval, and then went through the process of pickup, it had been over an hour. If I had known I needed to do the earlier steps I would have done them prior to arrival. Especially considering I chose a counter pickup during my registration, I was left feeling very confused by the uninformed change.
Nathan LBetter transparency on the pick up process, verify the location has additional requested equipment available, and better preparation of staff that are onsite at the pick up location in case assistance is needed. Clear instructions are needed to ensure the customer is able to contact the correct company (pick up location business or u-haul directly,) should any issue arise.

Mary MThe issue I had was that the AC didn't work on the Uhaul that was given to me. It then became worse when roadside assistance suggested I trade it in for another, because everybody I was transferred to attempted to get me to let roadside assistance handle it. I assume roadside was supposed to come out, but either way the experience took way too many phone calls and took away about 2 hours of my time to load the truck to move. The only reason I'm giving a rating of average is because the manager gave me a replacement vehicle that was like-new that had only about 6000 miles on it.

Kathleen BThe only problem I had was with the app not working properly. It kept loading which caused me to have to call 1-800-U-Haul to pick up the truck but took over 30 minutes to pick it up.
Elisha BThe location looked like a scrap yard, they didn’t let me to park may car there for the few hours, I used the truck. They charged $15 for coverage even if I don’t remember I have asked for. They didn’t give me a paper when I took the truck with the fuel level or anything else.

Kenneth KIt was hard to find. GPS took me 3 different ways, so it made me even more late. Finally found the tiny place, although there were no uhaul vehicles so it was hard to realize that’s where I was supposed to leave it. Sad I was charged for the late return.

James MTruck interior was dirty, seat with sand and leftover materials and still had liquids that spilled into the cup holders along with some trash plus a tray full of cigarette ashes Inside the box, also dirt.. Exterior obviously not clean

Then upon arrival, no clear instructions on how to close out everything just grabbed keys and closed their window. Unprofessional people working and I was late because receptionist said everything was fine.

It was 8:30pm on Halloween and it was only because they were home did one of the operators come outside, and directed me to park a 20’ truck ILLEGALLY and dangerously in the street over the white line marker with drag racers speeding by! I had to wait before opening my door to get out. Their whole driveway area was blocked off by orange cones so if they had not been home I would not have known where to park. Super inconvenient, and again, dangerous!!

blair lI set up my contactless pickup time for 7:30am and there was no possible way for me to pick up my U-Haul at that time. I had to wait an hour for someone to show up to the location to even help, but still wasn’t helped until about 8:50. The woman was nice and I appreciated the help, but I’m confused as to how I was supposed to pick up my truck without her assistance.
Thomas SHave the location open on time! I had to wait 15 minutes beyond their opening time for anyone to show up. Truck given to me had a worn tire with 1/32 tread. I had to spend 2.5 hours on my moving day to enter a Roadside Assistance request for a new tire & wait for the tire person to show up. Moving is stressful enough without U-Haul adding to the stress. And I didn’t get the furniture pads I had ordered because Cardinal Towing doesn’t carry any moving supplies!

Jonathan PNot really sure who’s fault it is but if I am booking additional items like dolly and moving blankets then I would think the location should have them or online should not offer them. They ended up having a dolly but no moving blankets and I doubt they had boxes so luckily I didn’t need them. There was one truck and the check in process was fumbled a bit. Any way it worked out and it got the job done.
Ashley HFront desk extremely rude! Actually told me to cancel if I wasn’t happy with not having a place to park my truck. Ridiculous! Also I was over charged by $60!!! Horrible experience!!! I’ll be leaving reviews on google and anywhere else I can.
Leroy BThe employee(s) took a long time to respond to my chats and I had to call them. The keys were not in the box as instructed and I had to wait for the employee to bring them to me. This place is extremely small and not really equipped to handling large trucks. The truck was surrounded by tree branches, making it difficult for me to assess its condition. I had to pull the truck out so I could look in the back and cargo area.

Willie PAgents were super friendly and helpful. I would use this location again! All I recommend is a quick cleaning of trucks before next customer picks it up. I wiped it down with disinfectant before I returned the truck I used—just felt right.
Liana WI had to talk over the tv blaring to hear the woman who didnt get up from desk. I got charged for 9 days when i had it for 6..called cs said someone would call me...no call..never again..
William BThe lady name NiNa, who was at the counter, was not helpful at all while we were checking in. She kept talking on a phone and made us to wait forever. She didn't seem to happy working there and she resisted assisting us when our pickup time had already passed 18minutes. I even asked her politely that we were in a hurry but she gave me a look and didn't even try to answer me. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION and Nina needs to get a proper customer service training. Hate this location and so dissatisfy with everything about the experience here.

Kenneth DI booked a 15ft U-Haul 2 weeks ago and confirmed the reservation promptly on Thursday before a Saturday move. On Friday night, my husband received a notice that the pick up location moved to a U-Haul place 15 minutes further from us in Euless. When we went to pick it up at this new location, the woman spent 15 minutes on the phone answering calls for a towing service before she decided to assist the 3 customers waiting in line. Then she told us she didn't have our reservation. We drove to Grapevine (the original reservation location) only to be told that we were in fact on the roster for Euless but had been upgraded to a 20ft truck (something which was left out of the notification the night before). So, we drove back to Euless and the woman gave us the truck. Moving is tough, having to deal with this unprofessionalism made a difficult move even more difficult to deal with. Very disappointed.

Esther TStaff voided my first transaction because he forgot the pads. He created an entire new one and forgot to update the mileage. I was later accused of using the last customers mileage in addition to mine.

caotouche nThese greedy tow guys man...Got our truck at 330 on Friday and was told to bring it back by 10am the next day. Got it there right before 10 and they said they'd email me a receipt. I get the receipt and was charged twice for the rental fee and safe move!!! I called them and a different person than i was dealing with said "sorry, nothing I can do, call 1800uhaul." I'm tired of these lame contracted places with uhaul. Penske all the way from now on!
