I was peeved that I had made my reservation in Pendleton which was confirmed. Then it was changed to Milton Freewater which was more miles and cost me more money. I was not happy with the uhaul company. I should be compensated for having to go out of my way, costing me more, because I had to use more miles on the vehicle to get what I needed done I feel it was very unprofessional!

Need bigger UHaul signs that can be seen from the highway and signs to indicate where to leave the truck without blocking parked cars.

Owners were upset that our pick up time was 5:30 as they wanted to close early to go boating. We got there earlier, and they were absolutely rude and yelled at us over the phone when we asked a question. Insisted on doing licensing information over the phone even though all entered on original reservation, but it was acceptable to be face to face to swipe credit card. I will never use this location again and will make a point of telling anyone who asks. We were asked to go to this location as our two local outlets didn't have the truck requested. So not only did we have to spend the extra 90 minutes of traveling time and gas, we were only offered extra mileage and an additional day, which really were not necessary and we are still out of pocket for the additional gas. Again the owners at this location were absolute jerks.

This was probably the only UHaul location I've ever been to where people were easy to talk to and empathetic. I didn't go inside so I cannot speak to the facility's cleanliness. Employees were nice. Spent less than 10 minutes dropping off.

If there has to be a $40 late fee, perhaps it could be included in the 8 emails I got, then I wouldnt have busted ass to get the truck unpacked the night before, and then miss the 9 am deadline . And I accidentally filled the tank instead of leaving it at 3/4 , basically donating the difference to your multimillion dollar company because there is nothing she could do. Bullshit. I spent a thousand dollars, I think it could have been returned.

We only use Carney Uhaul, their trucks are always clean and ready. Customer service is a 10. We have a moving company and sometimes we need a U-Haul for the over flow, or our customers are leaving town only recommend this U-Haul and our customers are always very happy with Carney Stateline U-Haul

Pissed off that we could not leave the truck at our destination, where there are 3 Uhauls. We had to drive out of the way to deliver, couldn't get a signal to do online return, and I had to return the next day to finish in person. Every time I called the toll-free #, they didn't know what to do. The online and toll-free systems *stink*. I definitely would have gotten another company's truck if another company had been available.

They had us clean the truck cab out which was actually better than when I rented it. We didn't mind and agreed with her that it should be cleaner. It just sucks that we should have to clean up the mess that the owner of 24 hour should have done. We rented 4 pieces of equipment from 24 hour in Tillamook they all were dirty. If we said anything we got attitude from the owner who is quite intimidating

The self pick up option was a nightmare! The assigned vehicle was filthy inside and out! There was no lock box or key for that vehicle! When uhaul was contacted the agent was less than helpful. Finally was able to get another truck assigned for my rental, however the self pick up process continued to be a problem in that the system and software failed to allow full completion of the check process resulting in the need for the agent to complete the process via telephone call. The entire process just to get the truck checked out took over an hour and resulted in a delay of my moving and travel plans. Furthermore the check out location was inadequate and the original vehicle was in unacceptable condition, the cab was fully of dust, dirt and trash, the exterior of the vehicle was equally filthy and the windshield bug encrusted with the cargo compartment dirty and containing trash!! Also the original vehicle had less than 1/4 tank of fuel! Overall extremely dissatisfied with this uhaul experience!!!

Trailer was very old and rusty. It was sad, asked if I would pick it up one hour earlier but was told it would be a full day charge for that one hour extra. Too bad. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will rent from someone else.

Edna in Milton Freewater is the best Uhaul agent around. I have rented a lot and will always go through her. The main uhaul site can be difficult yet Edna makes it personal and goes out of her way to accommodate and make it happen . Thank you so much for all your assistance as moving across the states is exhausting, and you took a huge burden of frustration off my shoulders.

I had left a few items in the cab of the truck. Contacted owners. They were more than helpful even telling me how I could pick them up if it was after hours. Great people, fantastic customer service. These are the people businesses need to stay ahead of the competition. While there's no price for customer service, it will make or break a location. Well done, folks. You will be my first choice for anything you do.

Made two other reservations with places in Walla Walla. Both were wrong and had to be corrected and then I was called and told they didn't have a truck two days before I needed it. Your reservations are horrible. Thank goodness the lady at Carney answered even while not in the office and personally took care of me. She was what every office should have

The inside of the truck under the seats were dirty when we got it. We didn't mind just didn't want to get charged for cleaning and the dolle never had a green tab on it to indicate that we hadn't used it.

I like the location of this drop off but man is that chick hard to deal with. i have never dropped of equipment without some difficulty. She threatens with charges ("but I won't charge you, but I could") I had to point out a report "X" sticker or she was going to charge me for a scratch in the decal on the box.The fuel is often an argument as is her idea of cleanliness. I keep telling myself not to go back there but i do, Hopefully I have learned my lesson.

Just got my bill via email and there is $39 of charges added to my bill. For gas after I made sure it was returned with more gas then I picked it up with. Then a safe move charge of $14 for 2 days

Was told that the Milton Freewater location had the 20' truck. It was going to be inconvenient for me but the operator gave me a deal. So I went for it. Went to pick up the truck. But this lady who's office is so clustered with crud you could barely move. There was one person ahead of us. When it was our turn the woman was borderline rude. Then she says to us that she doesn't have a 20'. She says something to the effect that corporate was too slow she gave the 20' away firsthand before corporate. The 26' was what she had if I wanted it. So I told her that the 26' was too big and did the other place I was originally going to had one. She tells us no but wouldn't look for other places around the area we lived in. And that her computer was too old. Sooo I had to take the 26'and risk my belongings flying all over because corporate and this woman can't communicate because this woman says her computer is too old and it can't do certain things she says.

Poor experience with over the phone customer service. I have never had to go to a different pick up site than the one I had selected to pick up a my rental truck. The other site was further away and cost me more in mileage and gas. When I brought that to the manager's attention she told me I had agreed to it in the terms and conditions and there was nothing she could do to help. I hope they improve on the site clarity of this for future users. The truck was dirty and covered in dings and scratches. I ordered the extra coverage at the last minute because I didn't want to be blamed for a mark or a scratch that they had not noticed before. My appliance dolly was not on the truck when I arrived and the company I rented from was not open when I picked up the truck. I was stuck waiting on them to open and with my extra miles it took over an hour to rent a truck from them. I have used U-Haul for over a decade when moving or relocating something. I am extremely diasapointed to share my poor experience.
