This is one of the best UHaul locations I have ever used. I'm very glad they are nearby. They are prompt, concise, polite and super knowledagble about trucks and trailers. UHaul check-in and check- out is usually a big time waster with long lines and low staffing (That's not necessarily UHaul's fault either), but at the Milton Freewater location they are fast and prompt, just a joy to work with.Russell W.

This has nothing to do with the actual location I picked it up from. Sky was great and changed the whole day. But I was furious that I made a reservation and then went to pick it up and they didn't have it. Then I had to scramble at the the last minute to call 6 different locations to see if they had what I reserved. None of them the close ones had one, except Sky. I called he said it was reserved and said if they didn't pick it up he would let me know. I was about to leave to head to the next closest location that was an hour away in the opposite direction (this is after being on the phone for 45 mins waiting to talk to someone at U-Haul). When Sky called and said he got in touch with them and they didn't need the rental. This saved me an additional two hours I would have had to spend to go get what I originally reserved. WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKE A RESERVATION THEN??Sarah S.
Carney Upholstery and Stateline Sales did a great job. It is Uhaul Corp that I am referring to in this post. Uhaul called me 2 days before rental and said I needed to pick up 60 miles from my reservation point. I said can't do because of a graduation. 1st they said, we can't help you. I asked for a bigger truck closer and they found the correct truck 10 miles away. I needed to rent at 8:00 am using the app. I get there at 8:00 am and Uhaul app said pick up at 10 when store opens (same time as graduation). I made numerous calls and woke up local owner who was very helpful. App didn't work to load license or fuel level discrepancy but took my credit card for payment.Jonathan M.

I only use this Uhaul, when we need uhauls, her facility and trucks are clean and organized. The personal service is impeccable, the owner Edna is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the process. We also refer at least 2 customers per week to her, as we have a moving company and get numerous calls daily. I have received the highest feedback from the customers who I refer to c Carny Stateline uhaul. I am just ecstatic to see she finally has an inventory of trucks again. Thank you for all your Help if never gone anywhere else, we will adjust until she has a truck available, she has always been able to help us find a truck. OSMAndrew D.

My reservation was messed up and because of that I had to walk 11 miles to get my car back. The website crashes regularly and the vehicles are in disrepair. I would suggest finding other options.Ian M.
No Uber, Lyft, or taxi service. Uhaul should alert that since as a single woman moving alone, this was very stressful. I ended up getting a ride from a stranger at a gas stationâ€¦. Not idealJacqueline S.
The woman who runs this place is friendly enough, but she does not run a good customer service business. She is far too casual and does not go out of her way to help you. She has a drive thru set up in a very awkward way for you to talk to her instead of an actual business front. She did not come out to walk around the rental with me or even show me which one it was. Rude, told me I didn't have a reservation, that it must be for a different location and then told that it was for a later time in the day. When she finally took look and realized that I was correct, I had to wait over 30 minutes for the truck.Marlene R.

The overhead light for the main part of the uhaul didn't work. We loaded up mainly after dark. This made it extremely difficult to load up . Because of this it took longer to pack the uhaul. We had to spend extra money to rent it for another day.carolina P.

Stateline/Carney is the only uhaul location we will use, the owners are knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile (literally) to make your experience excellent. They need more trucks, they need them on rotation. We have a moving company and often need to reserve for customers 1 x per week or more or for additional help on excessively large jobs. Edna has been known to drive to other locations and pick up trucks because we have a schedule to keep. Stateline uhaul has been a very important partner in our business since 2006. We have even purchased moving trucks from them. please keep a truck in rotation for our contracts and customers. We are not the only people in our community who feel this way about the service we receive from Edna. it is widely known in the Valley that Stateline is the best place to start with your uhaul information, rentals of trucks/trailers moving pads and moving essentials., for a safe efficient move. It appeared as though additional staff would be beneficial at this location. There's a sign on the door saying everything is closed up to keep the heat out and to call the number on the sign. As I was calling a man walked out. I explained my situation, and he said he'd discuss it with the lady inside. He came back out and she told him if he was willing to help me they'd take the trailer, but they don't deal in trailers (even though they had several open trailers on the lot). He said the equipment was heavy, and I told him that even though I was in my 60s I could help. I was instructed to back up, pull around the back to the front, near a wall and back up the trailer...I have limited back-up skills, but I managed with his help. He then came over with a device that cranked the trailer off my hitch, not needing my help at all. He was very friendly and helpful, but again, the process was a nightmare.Julie R.

The only reason I knew this was the drop off location was because of the other Uhaul trucks... It didn't have anything else distinguishing it from a random little shack. I also didn't know what I was supposed to do, I just got "make sure it has the proper gas, and it's cleaned out. Drop the keys here" if he wasn't there though I honestly wouldn't know what to do... First time with this sort of experience. Every other time I've gotten a Uhaul there was a person that explained the whole process, and there was very clear instructions.
