The vehicle was not in unacceptable condition. It had not be swept out, nor was there evidence that it had been disinfected. However, it was not grossly so, therefore we accepted the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle had only 1/4 tank of gas. In the defense of the retailer, they accommodated us on short notice, based upon the fact that our schedule vehicle had not been returned to the original pick up location on time.ANTOINE H.

Trucks need to be clean, especially the cab. There were half empty soda bottles and used face masks on the floor, cigarette ashes on the seat and floor, the dashboard on the flat part was all sticky and gooey as if candy had melted there and the truck was totally the wrong size. This after the first truck at the first location where I booked, was crawling with roaches all through the back.Richard M.

I reserved a 15' truck at a location and when I got there they did not have it. I had to be moved that day so I had to go to another location and get a much smaller truck which made my moving time alot longer.Kimberly E.

This U-Haul truck I rented should never be driven again. To say it was unsafe to drive is almost an understatement. The frame of the truck was completely bent to the passenger side. Unfortunately, you can not tell by just looking at the truck you have to be driving behind it to see how bad it is. Luckily I have some videos from the convoy behind me that was following me during my move. If the truck was not in the far right lane on any road the risk of a crash due to the sway of the truck due to the bent frame was extremely high. I can't believe I lasted the 3+ hour trip in one piece honestly. To ask for a refund of my rental would be too kind but knowing how companies work I won't even bother to ask. Just won't recommend using U-Haul anytime soon to anyone.Tyler G.

I returned after hours. The rental office shares their parking lot with a restaurant. Parking the truck was nearly impossible. U-Haul will need to go a long way to gain back my business.KEVIN B.
This pickup location was found only by the local storage branch. The equipment I reserved was not at my first choice, but at a different location which did not open until 5 hours after the equipment was needed. Very poor customer service from Uhaul when calling their toll free number. Local storage branch was able to find a unit at Carter's Hardware, which was still 20 miles away.Don Y.

The business was closed and there was no drop box for keys or any instructions posted. If they are going to have drop off they need posted information and access for returns.KAREN H.
When I called the 800 number they told told me that I would be picking up a 14 ft. truck in Talladega, AL and when I got in Talladega, I called the 3 locations and they said there was no order for me there. I ended up having to drive 30 miles, one way, to Munsford, AL to pick up the Haul and when I got there, it was a 27 ft. truck....I had to help the guys put ink in the printer, they wasn't really computer savvy. When I called the 800 number, they told me that I could turn the truck in at Postal Pal in Anna, IL, then when I asked to talk to someone about the mileage, they transferred the call. The lady I talked to told me that I was supposed to have turned the Haul in at 11:13 am and the place I picked it up at, did not tell me that I had to turn it in at a certain time and she also said I had to take the Haul to Carbondale, IL. When I got there they didn't have me on file to turn it in there. The guy was very nice and didn't add any late charges. Then when I gave him the copies of my contract, which was 3 different pages, he just shook his head and I explained to him what had happened. The suggestion I have is that when a person calls to make a reservation, the operatorshould not tell a person one thing and then when a person goes to pick up the equipment its different.crystal A.
I have no suggestions for improvement to the location. The gentleman that assisted me was very efficient and friendly, and was very helpful in hooking up the trailer and insuring it was right. Thank you for the help and the ease of getting a trailer on those times I may need it.ROBERT R.
