Chris M.The 6 X 12 trailer had a gas smell when we opened it. It seems like someone had either equipment with gas or a gas can in the back of the trailer. We left the doors open for a while before loaded and it helped some.

paul M.Avoid this location (500 E. Chatham Cary, NC) at all costs! Ripped me off on level of tank "fullness" when I returned. I traveled 81 miles total 70% if it was highway mileage. I put 7 gallons and they charged me 6 more gallons worth at a inflationary rate- 13 gallons to go 81miles!!! Also when I opened the truck at my initial destination the floor had quite a bit of dried mud/ dirt that I had to sweep out! Terrible franchise! Will never ever deal with and you shouldn't either

Chris R.Clean the vehicles and act like you have some remorse when an issue that could have injured someone is brought to your attention. The entire floor of a 26' truck cab was covered in oil and when I told the representative about it and how the movers I hired through U-Haul were visibly sliding down the truck ramp because their shoes were greasy, I got an “Oh, ok.†and was moved along like it didn't matter. So we had to clean the floor ourselves while U-Haul will be the first to dock and charge you for unfolded furniture blankets or not enough gas in a rental at exorbitant prices. But the fact that my original truck reservation was canceled two days before an entire house move with no communication or recompense is ridiculous. There is no stock in customer satisfaction, apparently. And then this atrocity with the oily floor. I'm just another buck for some wealthy shmuck. Just shameful.

David S.The location crew is top notch. The truck, however, was pretty ragged. For 45 miles for almost $90, the truck should not have a passenger door that is hard to open or an engine that needs a tube up. All said, I'm reasonably happy with the transaction and will return to this location again.

richard O.The guy who hooked up the trailer didn't tighten the trailer to the ball on my receiver hitch and it literally fell off. Then when I had the trailer was loaded and I drove to my destination I didn't make it very far before it started swaying really badly. I did notice that the trailer tires were very old. One was going flat. I had to stay in a hotel overnight due to your improper equipment maintenance.

Uriah S.I made my reservation online. My confirmation email sent me to the wrong pickup location first, about 10 miles away. Fortunately, the UHaul website had the right location. It was an annoying inconvenience.
Denis S.I badly needed an appliance dolly and hand truck for this move and included it in my reservation. Neither this location nor locations near me.were able to fulfill my request. Uhaul should look at how it can increase the available inventory in the system.
Jesse R.Greg assisted me and prepared the truck and moving blankets which I had reserved for an early pick up on the day of my end-of-March-2022 move. Even though he had had a rough morning (a customer before me was somewhat of a unnecessary challenge), Greg was efficient, informative, and friendly. When I dropped off the truck/blankets at the end of that day, there was another gentleman who assisted me - I am sorry that I did not get his name - because he was the same as Greg had been. Thank you! My moving experience that day went perfectly and I greatly appreciate doing business with Cary Moving.
Joanne B.Your pickup location did a fantastic job. The only thing I would recommend would be to give the customer paper printouts of the contract. Just having the electronic version, is too hard to read on a cell phone. Also, giving the customer a quick tour of the truck functions, and operational instructions, would go a long way.

I was able to fit everything for my move out of state because of that upgrade, and they were so sweet and helpful during a pretty stressful time. The process was seamless and I felt really taken care of. Thankful for them and will absolutely recommend then to anyone in the Cary area for all the Uhaul needs.
