The truck definitely needs maintenance. It was very loud and had to step hard on the gas to get it going. One of the tires also seemed to not have enough air. But the person at the front was nice and provided me with everything I needed. I had a good experience overall.
Yesenia RFacility was ok, my issues are with the truck itself which seems to have a couple mechanical issues. Most importantly, the air condition works occasionally. At times the air blowing is not cooled. Also, the gear shifting seems concerning, at times moving straight past the intended gear to the next one.
David BBetter customer service. Maintain vehicles better. I had dirty windows and no washer fluid! Was told I didn’t need to take photos, didn’t get a link to even do so until later that evening and then was charged extra for gas upon return when I left more in the tank than I picked it up with!!! Very unsatisfied customer!
JENNIFER TThe added front floor mat was not secure. It moved too easily under your feet. It would slide forward and could have potentially blocked either/both the accelerator and brake. Either the rented half dozen furniture pads, or the truck bed itself, was infested with juvenile roaches. I only had to drive 3 miles to/from my house and the consignment store, but that quickly the juvenile roaches were visible on both the unfolded pads and furniture touching the pads. I requested a refund for the pads to, in some small way, compensate for the extra cleaning I had to do. The staff was very pleasant.

Arthur JTwo guys on staff. One was working with customers, one was wrenching on their personal vehicle, right at the entrance of the store. I figure he didn't work there and was just "hanging out". When he finally decided to ask what I needed and realize it was a drop off, he said "oh, I could do that". He stated to unhook the trailer and he'll be right there to inspect and sign off, but proceeded to continue wrenching on the car. After waiting a bit I went into the store to ask what's next, to which they answered "oh, you're good ".... good?! No inspection, no sign-off? So the next person will AGAIN get uninspected equipment....that just travelled 2900 miles?!
Edward HWorst experience ever! Will NEVER use Cary Moving location again!! U-Haul had the chance to make things right (i.e., comp for part of the bill) but they didn’t. Instead, the ASM (and Customer Service) acknowledged the issues but still billed me and moved on. Will think twice about even using U-Haul next time. Although convenient, there are other options. Clearly they didn’t care about their customer on this day.
Jill PI recently rented a truck from your E Chatham Street, Cary location and had a very negative experience. The employee on duty was rude during pickup and again during return. Their tone and attitude were unprofessional and disrespectful. This is not the level of service I expect, and I request that this issue be reviewed and addressed.

JOHN RThe location was excellent and the trailer was clean, but the trailer needs a lot of maintenance. Driving above 60 miles per hour, empty or loaded, caused my vehicle to fishtail in a way I’ve never experienced. I have pulled many trailers in my day, and this is the first I felt could kill me if I weren’t careful.

ELIZABETH HProvide the vehicle ordered! I was told to pick up my 10' truck in Cary because at the nearest U-Haul location they did not have the specific truck available. Which was a bit inconvenient, but fine. On arrival in Cary I was told that there was not a 10' truck available only a 15' (at the same price). In the end I took the larger vehicle, but would have preferred the 10' as being more manageable for someone who is not used to driving a vehicle that size.

MICHAEL PJamie was GREAT. Devon the other guy who helped us at first, had an attitude the entire time. We walked in and was greeted with “oh yall are gonna make me work” we thought he was joking at first and laughed, until he was unpleasant for the entire rest of the visit. Asked for a manager on duty and he said yeah and sent Jamie out which he revealed he’s not even a manager he’s just been there for a while. I would not recommend this location purely based off of the bad experience with Devon.

James LThey rented a U-Haul out to me that was newly painted. The paint was not completely dry. I got my new furniture home and paint was all over my couches. Not only that, my carpet in my newly built house had paint in it from the couches. They never offer anything for the trouble they caused just a1800 number. I’m beyond pissed!

Stacia WI’m a 68-year-old male and just drove cross country, unloaded the trailer and was worn out. When I went in to drop off the trailer the employee was on his phone appeared to be FaceTiming someone or watching a video.. He looked up asked my name told me to go drop off the trailer on the side where the other trailers are. He never got off the phone that was sitting on the counter. I could clearly see the screen was on . He looked like he could care less. He never checked the trailer or got off his seat or turned off the phone. He could care less!!!! He said do you need help to unhook it. I thought need help to unhook it? He should be the one unhooking it and back me into where he wants it. That’s his job! I was so upset with his poor attitude and service, I unhooked it myself as he told me because I was so pissed off. It’s the last thing I wanted to be doing after all the work I just did! . It’s unfortunate that he was not more accommodating because I am older and it’s not easy for me. I didn’t really wanna to take it off, but he made it clear there’s no way he was gonna get up to help. It seemed as if he was the owners son and could get by with this type of poor service. He clearly did not care to do his job!

Diondre MGot charged extra on gas and I shouldn’t have. I went to the gas station across the street before turning it in. They charged me an additional gallon at the inflated rate. I didn’t appreciate that.

NATHANIEL HFor some reason, I was charged a cleaning fee. There might have been 10 pine needles in an open trailer (which was parked under a pine tree), so I'm thinking that was it. Disappointing because I like this location overall. It almost feels like they took advantage of the situation. I'll probably rent from the location down the road in the future.

Howard BThe white man that was working at the desk has bad customer and sale skills. Do yall just hire anybody? He needs to be reviewed, because he thought I was stupid enough to fall for his scam. He tried to make me pay over the final amount. When I picked up the U-Haul I already paid a portion so why did he try to make me pay what I already paid on top of the remaining balance. Seems very sketchy and unprofessional to try to scam the customer shaking my head. Do better with the people yall hire because this was unacceptable.
