The â€œMom's Atticâ€ shelf was wet due to heavy rain. I did not realize until unloading cardboard boxes. Checking those shelves should be part of the inspection checklist.STANLEY P.
The staff at the location were a bit rude about how clean the interior of the vehicle was... there was "sand" in the back that I tried to sweep out when I picked it up. I had 1 box that I took out and a few tie-downs that needed to be cut off. I think consumers are at the mercy of any U-Haul location.Patricia R.

Truck was horrible. Inside sun visor broken. (Hanging down into front window). Windows inside & out so dirty. Blocking drivers vision. Inside cabin dusty, sticky. Not Covid clean. Renter had to take their time to disinfect. Braking system so bad, steering wheel shakes when braking. Oil light on. Driver had to put oil in. Back storage container lock broken, had to literally stomp with foot for it to click to lock in to place.... RENTER NOT HAPPY!! Wants refund. Should not have to pay for this rental.ANGELA A.

This was the third location that I tried to drop my trailer off at. The one I was told to go to was full and he gave me the numbers of 2 other locations and the next one was full as well. After I dropped the trailer off, I received a text that Cary locations were full( not true as this location sent 100 trailers out the day before) and I needed to take it to a location in Raleigh after it was returned. This location was more than happy to take the trailer and he was most helpful.JOHN W.

The staff was rude and ignored me. I am a woman and was in the office by the counter for 20 minutes without anyone greeting me or saying I will be with you in a moment. The man behind the counter just moved paperwork around and did not even acknowledge me. My driver, who is a man showed up and within a minute the same staff member asked if he could help him. Although the staff were still rude and not friendly in any way with him either. I was told the appliance hand truck I had reserved and the furniture pads were unavailable. Yet, I was still charged for them. My driver and I watched while the appliance hand truck was unloaded from the vehicle we rented and given to another customer just before our vehicle was pulled up for us. I had been assured on the phone that the hand truck would be available. We had a really difficult time moving due to not having the equipment I reserved. I could not believe the staff member had the nerve to give it to someone else right in front of us!! No one looked over the truck with us or gave us any directions or tips. The truck was pulled out for us in such a way that it was impossible to exit the lot without backing up several times to get inline with the road. This was the worst service I have received in years! I should take to a lawyer for such a sexist treatment!SHARON I.

I had ordered a truck with a Dolly I get there and tell me 1st come 1st serve already have paid for everything no Dolly took another hour and something for a Dolly From another location This is the 3rd time this has happened to me Had one guy working for me he said this is the 2nd time it happened he had to leave had to keep the truck another day to get somebody to help me move Had drive another 2 hours to come back then came back from king to carry Had to pay the new man $300 to help me out this place is terribleHenry A S.

Car trailer appeared to be in working order when I picked it up. I loaded up the tow vehicle and departed. After about 30 miles I stopped to check the securing ratchet straps, they were very loose. Not unexpected, some shifting, repositioning is to be expected. I stopped again after another hour of driving and every hour thereafter. Each time, straps were loose. This added considerable time to an already long trip. Thankfully, made it to my destination with the car. Mission accomplished!STEPHEN R.

I need help with the rental information as we took the trailer to New York City and incurred some toll charges. The wrong trailer number was recorded so U-Haul is unable to connect the toll charges back to our rental. Based on this I am unable to pay for the tolls.DAVID F.

The location was wonderful, the staff was great. However, I had tried to use the U-Haul app and it was a nightmare. It says it wants pictures of your license, but then first inserts a picture of you. Since I had an account setup, why not ask for that in advance? The face photo was also a nightmare - no details, but then it rejects the photo 1) because I am wearing a mask - really? and then it rejects it again because I am wearing glasses - really again - at least tell me so that I can go outside, take off my glasses. Then it wants details on my license - which apparently it reads from a photo, even though I had set everything up in the app. Then it asks for a 3rd party contact - I thought it might be in case of a problem - so I provided my wife's information. It turns out they want to contact her for some reason - but they send a text they are going to call that comes in after the text. Apparently everyone at U-Haul lets anyone call on their phone or can go back in time to add somebody to your contacts. Then they try to call me and the same thing happens. Then I try to add her back again and it rejects it. Sheesh. Finally I just went inside and up to the counter where the very helpful staff took excellent care of me. You app is not very useful - half the stuff could have been taken care of in advance and more warning about what you want for the other pieces would have made a much more pleasant experience. If your staff on site hadn't been so helpful and cheerful, I would probably have given up. I heartily recommend the location - but I will tell anyone that they should NOT use the UHaul app.CHARLES K.

Going through the entirety of the "mobile check in" experience near the peak of Delta just to still have to go in to the store to pick up keys was infuriating. You have to take like 20 pictures for both check in and check out, and then you still have to have human contact because there's no way to pick the keys up remotely. It's literally 10 times more work for zero benefit, and it was even better because the employee *wasn't masked despite an active mask mandate.*Abigail L.

Absolutely the best place to go for your moving needs. Greg went out of his way to help me out after I was rejected a trailer drop off at Qwick Pack and Ship on Chapel Hill Road, which was also my designated drop off location. Regardless I was turned down as they apparently did not have space to receive my trailer. Here at Cary Moving they were pretty packed as well but regardless Greg made sure to make space instead of sending me around town looking for a return location. Truck was missing a sensor cap on gas tank. We found out a couple hours after getting truck, though smell of gas was present immediately. Spent 45 minutes on hold with uhaul. It took over 12 hrs for problem to be fixed, delaying our moving day.Greg S.
