I reserved my truck and supplies needed from a very large U-HAUL location that was 1 mile from the moving location. The night before our move, I was directed to pickup a truck that was over 20 miles outside of town. Reason given was no 15’ trucks at original location. Extra mileage was credited to me, but this change messed up timing of helpers coming. The U-HAUL dealership I originally wanted had plenty of trucks in the size I needed when we drove to it. Frustrating …and to go to other dealership and they don’t have a clean truck or supplies reserved

KATHRYN KScammed. got charged 3x times for dropping off an hour and half after reservation when I was told as long as it’s here by 7pm for the reservation tomorrow would be fine. Now I have to dispute the 3rd charge because dude charged me the second time at 530 already, piss poor location
ADAM FFirst time renting a uhaul and this location answered all my questions and provided some guidance as well. The online reservation was smooth and they had the size truck that I was in need of. This go round of moving has been waaayyy better than the first time (if interested about that please respond)! If you’re looking for movers also please respond & I’ll definitely recommend the team I had today. Hands down - doing this differently than the first move… has exceeded my expectations.
AMANDA MHave used this location three times in the last few years now and it's always been well-staffed with friendly and knowledgeable people. The price is as quoted, the equipment is running and ready to go and it's quick and easy. Making any move "quick and easy" is a very large ask, and using this service/product takes a LOT of the worry out of it. Would recommend highly to anyone I knew needed this kind of service. Excellent.

JANIE DThe guy at the counter was working with another customer and did not want to help me and I had to pull answers from him about my situation. I understand he was dealing with one already and I would’ve waited but, he seemed stressed and annoyed already. I was told I needed to talk to them to get my refund and he said there was nothing he could do. I had to contact customer service.
Angel CThere was no staff present at the time of my drop-off. Additionally, the key drop-off signage could be larger and more noticeable to help customers easily locate where to return the keys.

James NI forgot to put gas back in it and I got charged for the gas and it looked like I got charged a lot more than the average gallon of gasoline is. Without me actually figuring it yet that's the only complaint I have.

SCOTT SWell for starters the guy that helped us was definitely not a people person, so shouldn't be in customer service. Then he didn't have the 2 dollies in the truck & I added moving blankets which he got out of a pile of unfolded blankets & dragged one across the parking lot to the truck. Before loading the truck he stopped to talk to a lady, which caused us a 15 minute delay, so I started my time right then. I was 20 minutes late returning the truck and got charged for an extra day. The truck was not clean, it had trash under the seats & behind them which I cleaned out before returning the truck to a different location. I have never had these issues with uhaul ever & will never use that location again. This location 3/10 rating 🙄

LOUIS JI returned the the vehicle within 24 hours. I returned around Saturday 4 pm. But they mentioned in bill as Monday morning. And charged for two days.
DEVENDRA MOutstanding customer service. The guy who checked me out was HORRIFIED at the dirty insides of the cab, and could not believe that the place where I picked up the truck didn't bother to at LEAST wipe down the driver's area. Seriously, that cab was nasty...but the guy at Cary Moving was great, efficient, and thorough during the entire drop-iff process.

JAMES EI booked 15ft truck but steering was shaking even at 35miles and truck too was shaking.. When I immediately took it back to the agent with explaining the problem, agent was very rude and was not ready cancel the order or replace it with another one and agent was saying all of his vehicles are like that and he can’t.. But it’s not free service he is doing, I am paying for it. I had call customer care to get it replaced.. But got 10ft one.. bcz of which I had move the households twice and hence additional miles.. it was really pathetic..

LAKIMA NThe personnel handled my rental very professionally and there were ample trailers on site to choose from, so I give the experience an A. The only issue was the drop off of the trailer in Asheville (and surrounding areas) was uneconomical due to the continued effects of Hurricane Helene.

SHERI HWhen I arrived to pick up the truck on a Saturday morning, there were about 7 ahead of me and only 1 person behind the counter. Took over 45 minutes to an hour to get taken care of, and 4 to 5 people came in after me. Several people complained about the wait time.

ANDREW KThis location was great. My complaints are with the Mobile Pick-up and Drop-off. There is no indication at the beginning of the Mobile pick-up process, that would need multiple forms of ID at the moment of pick-up, so I did not have multiple forms to submit, and the calling of people for verification process took too long/didn't work very well. The process was very inconvenient, and I had to switch to this location due to the inconvenience, since this company was in the office at the time of pick-up. The mobile process in general is not very streamlined and it is very picky about pictures, etc. It takes too long compared to a physical pick up and and drop-off. This mobile service adds stress and frustration to the already stressful process of moving. The physical location was great, Uhaul App was horrible. When I tried to move locations/cancel orders with the first place which wasn't available for the physical pick-up, I wasn't able to fix the issues, but luckily this nearby location was able to help.

JUSTIN OOne the lower rails inside the truck, on the left-hand side, looking-in from the back, was loose (not attached to the side of the truck). That should be fixed before the next customer uses this truck.
