You did great. Had us checked into our van with the air running quickly. Van turned out to be the best choice for our move and handled smoothly. It actually was a pleasant moving experience and those are rare. Thank You.

Friendliness would be appreciated, behavior towards customer also. I felt like I had a big toddler in front of me with nasal congestion and this noise was yuck. If you would not have any customers, ask yourself, why. But than, Uhaul is pretty much needed... than, who cares about or why care about the customer, they rely on us.....

Rent and returned a 10 feet truck on 7/3/2026 Cary, NC. The weather was nearly 100 degree. No AC and waited for nearly 20 minutes without being told we could just drop the key and leave. When calling back to ask a question on the receipt (I do not know there is a 16.5% rental tax), the staffs especially the manager was very rude. He was yelling and hanged off my call. I will never come to this place.

Put a little effort into straightening out the shop and improve your tone towards your customers. I honestly felt like I was an inconvenience when calling and then when I came into the store. The only reason I would come here again is that it is close to home.

A promise was made to reduce my rental cost if I changed my reservation to a local instead of a one-way so the location could get their truck back. This did not happen and I was out more money. Also at pick up the service was absolutely rude as the guy was more interested in texting on his phone than helping customers in line. This place is an embarrassment to U-Haul.

Air conditioning during rental, office was extremely hot for customers and the employee working. Carter was excellent in efficiency and customer service under the extreme heat conditions, he never buckled or made any Customer feel unimportant. He had a line almost out the door and banged it out quickly and professionally.

Not sure if the location was unusually busy on the day, but there was only one person working at the location, and by the time I got my truck, the queue of people was outside the building. If this is the norm, I would say they should consider employing at least one additional person on the weekends.

Just a little caught off guard at the amount of cussing the two men at the counter did while I was waiting in line . I’m no prude but do feel like at a place of business cussing ( including the word fuck) is not acceptable or needed.

The staff were very polite and helpful on a very busy Saturday afternoon.They were working without air-conditioning in 95+ degree temps. The truck was clean, running, and the AC worked, but wouldn’t go over 40 miles an hour.

The gas tank should be filled more than a quarter full for someone who is going on a 162 mile trip. The mileage allocation of 162 was not adequate to complete the trip with a drive to a gas station and was less than the bare minimum.

The guys here are great. It is not the prettiest shop, but I feel like I get great service from them. I am a repeat customer. My only complaint is the windshield. These trucks sit outside all the time and some are under trees. I think the windshields should be somewhat clean when they hand it off. The trucks wiper cleaner mode was not strong enough. I had to clean the windshield with Windex and some elbow grease.

The truck definitely needs maintenance. It was very loud and had to step hard on the gas to get it going. One of the tires also seemed to not have enough air. But the person at the front was nice and provided me with everything I needed. I had a good experience overall.

Facility was ok, my issues are with the truck itself which seems to have a couple mechanical issues. Most importantly, the air condition works occasionally. At times the air blowing is not cooled. Also, the gear shifting seems concerning, at times moving straight past the intended gear to the next one.

Better customer service. Maintain vehicles better. I had dirty windows and no washer fluid! Was told I didn’t need to take photos, didn’t get a link to even do so until later that evening and then was charged extra for gas upon return when I left more in the tank than I picked it up with!!! Very unsatisfied customer!

The added front floor mat was not secure. It moved too easily under your feet. It would slide forward and could have potentially blocked either/both the accelerator and brake. Either the rented half dozen furniture pads, or the truck bed itself, was infested with juvenile roaches. I only had to drive 3 miles to/from my house and the consignment store, but that quickly the juvenile roaches were visible on both the unfolded pads and furniture touching the pads. I requested a refund for the pads to, in some small way, compensate for the extra cleaning I had to do. The staff was very pleasant.

Two guys on staff. One was working with customers, one was wrenching on their personal vehicle, right at the entrance of the store. I figure he didn't work there and was just "hanging out". When he finally decided to ask what I needed and realize it was a drop off, he said "oh, I could do that". He stated to unhook the trailer and he'll be right there to inspect and sign off, but proceeded to continue wrenching on the car. After waiting a bit I went into the store to ask what's next, to which they answered "oh, you're good ".... good?! No inspection, no sign-off? So the next person will AGAIN get uninspected equipment....that just travelled 2900 miles?!

Worst experience ever! Will NEVER use Cary Moving location again!! U-Haul had the chance to make things right (i.e., comp for part of the bill) but they didn’t. Instead, the ASM (and Customer Service) acknowledged the issues but still billed me and moved on. Will think twice about even using U-Haul next time. Although convenient, there are other options. Clearly they didn’t care about their customer on this day.

I recently rented a truck from your E Chatham Street, Cary location and had a very negative experience. The employee on duty was rude during pickup and again during return. Their tone and attitude were unprofessional and disrespectful. This is not the level of service I expect, and I request that this issue be reviewed and addressed.

The guys were great at the Chatham St., Cary NC location. It was my first time renting a U-haul. Way easier renting from U-haul than it is from some big box stores.

Extremely poor service they didn’t even look at the truck when I checked it in and then have charged me a cleaning fee and the truck was clean

The location was excellent and the trailer was clean, but the trailer needs a lot of maintenance. Driving above 60 miles per hour, empty or loaded, caused my vehicle to fishtail in a way I’ve never experienced. I have pulled many trailers in my day, and this is the first I felt could kill me if I weren’t careful.
