The service at this location was great. But my overall experience with U-Haul was not great and I'm not sure I would use you again. I reserved the truck from my he East Wenatchee location and got a call the night before the move that they didn't have the truck and I'd have to go to cashmere to rent it. That added a lot more mileage and more gas that I had to pay because of Uhauls mistake. I don't think that is fair. And I couldn't pick the truck up for 1.5 hours later than I needed it.Melissa G.

Have the reserved equipment ready for pick! They gave my truck away, had 2 other bigger trucks there not checked in from last customer, claimed I could not rent it because he couldn't figure out how to check it in. He told me I was pretty much out of luck! I had gotten dropped off so I had no ride back. I called main office to U-Haul, they talked the guy through getting other truck check in process. It wasn't swept out or appliances cart or blankets weren't in there. It was a stressful 1 1/2 to get on the road with a truck. I had movers scheduled at 9:00am next day to get me moved! That location is running a mini mart , pizza take out business along with U-Haul. The guy just complained that he was to busy to get me checked in & they were running 3 business. Moving is stressful enough coordinating all the things that need to take place. Then to deal with this. I would not recommend this location!Carol J.
The truck keys weren't in the store so the representative was just going to cancel my guaranteed rental with no alternate plan recommended or suggested. Just oh whoops, sorry. My dad went out to truck, and the keys were sitting IN it. Then magically the rental went on. I was told it had a quarter tank, but the tank was super empty and the indicator bobber was even stuck to the bottom of the tank. We had to drive for 2 hrs. and 15 min. to get here and pick up the truck. It was 125 miles and then we had to drive another 125 miles home to load it. They allowed us 100 miles for this trip. They only allowed us 260 miles from our home in Redmond, Wa. to our new home in Moscow, Idaho and it was 300 miles.Duane M.

I reserved to truck for 7am, but when we showed up they said we had to wait until 9am to get the key (even though the establishment was in fact open). When we came back at 9am they canceled our reservation. Total nightmare. We were able to get another reservation, but it set us back by a lot on our planned move.Glade B.

I didn't receive my receipt as promised. I checked with UHaul and it turns out the staff was new and busy running their mini mart. Once contacted by U-Haul they got the issue quickly sorted. The drop off location was an hour away from our home! We were not allowed to drop off the truck at our final destination. There were two locations with in ten miles near our home! We were told that the business would get find for having to much equipment! Why would that be our problem as the customer!!! Customer service was definitely lacking on Uhaul's part when it came to the one drop off!!! We had to drive the uhaul truck and our personal vehicle an hour away! We were told that we would be given extra mileage, however, we had to re-fill the gas tank! It was an enconvinience! Aside from this, the truck ran great!WESLEY P.
Have the truck and trailer more thoroughly inspected and cleaned. Also, honor your reservations. I booked almost 2 months in advance and truck was not available at original location I reserved to pick it up. Had to drive an additional hour to another location. Loss of time and gas $$. I was ripped off. Told there wasn't equipment in the town I live in for an in-town move, so instead I had to go 24 miles round trip out of my way (oh, and pay for the mileage...cool). How is that ok? The guy said the reservation was $49.99 when online it was $39.99. The truck was filthy when I got it - someone had just moved juniper bushes in the truck and the cab was nasty. It leaked water on my belongings too. I've done well over a dozen moves using uhaul, and in the future I may think twice based on this experience.LISA MARIE Z.
The biggest problem we had was reserving the truck on line! No guarantee you will get a truck let alone the size you ordered until the day before! From now on I will go to the business itself and deal with someone in person. This time I was told two days before the closest truck was about 180 miles away or I can get a smaller truck.... This place just straight out shouldn't be renting out Uhauls equipment. So rude and un helpful. The lady that works there is not welcoming and she doesn't bother to answer any questions. Person responsible for checking the truck in is a gas station attendant, who seemed to prioritize people buying soda and fried deli foods. Told me I was "all good" and I would receive a confirmation email or text when he finished checking the truck in. This did not happen. I called a Uhaul representative first thing the following morning and they showed my truck as unreturned. This representative was not able to help me in any way other than to refer me to speak with the gas station attendant again. I have a small balance to pay for mileage that neither a Uhaul representative, nor the gas station attendant have been able to help me pay. Again, the online prompts to pay my balance are broken, no record of my reservation can be found online, and no one I speak with seems to know how to remedy this. My online reservation indicated pickup at the Super Deli Market Chevron, both in the email and later phone call to the Uhaul 1-800 number. Being conservative I tried to call the Super Deli to confirm. After 2 days of attempted calls, being told that no one could help with Uhaul issues, I was told that they didn't have my reservation. On yet another call to U-Haul 1-800, they directed me to the Mini Mart Uhaul location. Had I not persisted with my independent verification, ie assuming that Uhaul would botch the reservation, I would have gone to the wrong pickup location.Robert H.

Our representative did a good job - he let us know that he was new to Uhaul, and that he might have to ask other people questions - which he did - but he did just fine. We did not know until we were leaving that we were the first people he had checked a truck out to. Our only complaint - and it is minor - is that the back of the truck was really dirty. We ended up sweeping it out ourselves, as we did not want the furniture we were loading into it to get dirty. We were a bit frustrated - and this is nothing to do with him, but the reservation itself; we reserved a 10' truck for East Wenatchee, and two days prior to our reserved day, we were phoned and told we could have a 15' at the original location (at the 15' price and reduced gas mileage) or drive 15 miles to Cashmere to pick up a 10' truck and then back to East Wenatchee. When I mentioned that this would add an extra 40ish miles to our trip, I was told that the extra mileage would be credited. When we picked up the uHaul in Cashmere, both representatives checked and there were no notes in the system. The best advice they had was to call the "uhaul moves" line upon our arrival back in Tacoma to see what could be done, since the office that rescheduled our pick up location was closed. Needless to say, we went over a bit on mileage, and couldn't get anyone on the phone.Maggie A.

Understand it's difficult to have a large inventory in a small town and limited space but would be nice to have larger sized vehicles available. The staff at that site have always been helpful and pleasant, unlike the recent experience I had with regional scheduling. There was no follow-through (didn't get the phone call or a voice mail re the confirmation with unavailability of what needed) in notifying me that a limitation would be put on the time the truck size I needed was available resulting in not being able to use it for my purpose (only 10 hour rental instead of 24) so it was very stressful trying to make other arrangements at the last minute when only a smaller vehicle was available. In addition, the person I talked to that morning gave me incorrect information so I still thought I could have the truck size I needed for the 24 hours. If the schedulers would have been willing to see if arrangements could have been made with the next customer to just delay their departure 2 hours, it would have all worked out. We rented a pick up truck on line. Paperwork related to damage prior to pick up was not provided. At the time of returning the truck U haul employee spotted some damage on a spoiler under the front bumper. Employee replied we were required to take pictures of any damage As far as I know there's no legal requirements for the customer to take pictures of the vehicle at the time of pick up. The cab of the uhaul was filthy. Piles of dog hair on seats, food, empty water bottles left in cab, dash and doors layer of dirt on them. Outside was dirty, took us an hour to clean the truck before we could use it. We told the store where we picked it up - she said she would clean it but it would take a while because she was running a food mart and had to get food out. We had movers scheduled so we had to take the truck dirty. We also had to stop in Yakima to have the drivers side wiper fluid dispenser fixed because it was missing. We had to put two quarts of oil in the truck before leaving as well as use almost a gallon of wiper fluid to fill reservoir. I called and talked to customer service Friday morning. I have pictures to back up claim of dog hair and dirty cab. Once we get settled, I will be calling corporate office to submit an official complaint.Lavon F.
The drop off was problematic. But I don't think it was the fault of this location, but rather the central reservation system. This location already had a pile of trucks. But this was where I was told to drop my truck. The person initially asked me if I could drop it somewhere else... which was unacceptable. But she quickly worked out a solution. Having said that, I'm now a bit paranoid that the central reservation service doesn't have a clue as to where vehicles are. So I will not trust them in the future; but confirm on my own that I can return where they tell me to return.john K.
