When I went to pick up the truck, the employee was asking me to sign the rental contract WITHOUT inspecting the mileage, gas and overall condition of the truck. I told him I was not going to sign something that was not inspected. He refused to go out with me to inspect the truck together. He felt insulted and said that it was the "first time" that someone has ever done that to him. I told him that when It comes to business and contracts absolutely EVERYTHING must be documented before a customer signs any contracts. This is to protect both the business AND the consumer. I inspected the truck on my own, I took pictures of the interior and exterior of the truck to cover myself. I cleaned the truck since they rented it out to me very dirty in the inside. When I returned the truck, another employee told me to just take a picture at the miles and gas. Again, to cover myself I took pictures of the entire truck inside and out. The employee NEVER came out to do a final return inspection on the truck. Terrible service. Lack of business judgement and etiquette.

The location staff was totally inefficient and has no respect for customer. They took 45 mins to handover the vehicle to me although, I had booked online and was the first in the queue. They would often break in between and go to serve the food customers. The first staff member actually went to make sandwich for a customer to came after me and never came back. My process was completed by s second guy. They were rude and had no respect for customers. He even went to say that I am foolish for not opting the insurance, which I thought is none of his business. He even went on to say, if you dont like, dont come again. I had to take the vehicle as I had to choice but it was totally humiliating and insulting. You should not have a center like this and should really withdraw the franchise.

I submitted my reservation online at the location because I was told they couldn't do it manually. After submitting mu reservation for a one way from to Apollo Beach, the store clerk informed me that the employee who completes the Uhaul reservations had left and wouldn't be bak for an hour and he didn't know how to do. The Uhaul company called me about the reservation and I explained that their employee had left. I was told that if he didn't return, they would charge him $50 for leaving without telling them and not guaranteeing my reservation. The subway employee went online to complete my orde but couldn't authorize it. So the store clerk finally decided to call the Uhaul store employee who gave him directives via phone. It took them an hour to complete a simple order! Why did the Subway employee have to step in to complete my reservation?WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER WITH UHAUL! PLEASE TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES!!! Ive never had an issue with any uhaul except for this location. Its inside a gas station and just not very practical. Very small area to manuver the truck around and lots of people in and out. My uhaul had no lock outs on the equipment in the vehicle (like for the dolly and extra blankets) and I was concerned i would be charged for them. The inside cab was dirty and had some trash left inside that i threw away.

Very rude, didn’t listen to the order we put in gave us the wrong size truck the mirror on the truck was damaged tried to tell person in charge and he tried to tell us we will have to pay even though it occurred in their lot I elected insurance online and they didn’t give us the insurance overall terrible will definitely recommend elsewhere

The man was so rude, i left my wallet at the location and i didn’t get it back, someone stole it. He called my mother a bitch and an asshole. His words not mine. He was making sub sandwiches and taking other people orders as we waited for 20-30 mins just for keys

Huge language barrier with the clerks. 24hr hr after i return truck i was still charged the full $100 when it was o ly $68! Was told the remaining was being refunded to card! Still waiting...went to location they stated thwy do not know uhaul procedures!!?? And i shoukd call uhaul for refund! How can u offer a service and not know preocedures??!!

It's at a gas station, which also has a Subway. The place is beyond minimally staffed. So you have to wait for people getting gas or a sandwich, because only one person is working. I waited 30 minutes to get the truck then another 25 to drop it off because they had one person.

The vehicles can be better maintained... my vehicles wheel alignment was completely off... and the engine light was on. The vehicle would start shaking violently after exceeding 70 miles per hour.

They had no understanding of the truckshare app when I picked up the truck. I completed the entire process on my phone and was told to get the keys from the counter. They still asked to see my ID and credit card and made me sign paperwork.

The representative which was a lady assisting me through this process was very rude and unclear about the details about the rental process and furthermore there were roaches inside the truck! Highly unsatisfied and won’t be returning!

The truck was not checked in appropriately and the person there to help was not helpful in figuring it out. They were rude and short until I got Uhaul on the phone. Even then, not very polite - just not as rude. When I dropped the truck off, it was a different person, but still relatively poor customer service.

Make the location not a gas station. It was sketchy and there were no signs or any indication where to go or who to talk to. One of the staff members was rude for no reason, when I was not sure where to go.

This location I rented at told me because I returned early I would be charged a late fee and that I should be charged for the original 2 day rental to avoid hefty late fees. So how do you get charged for returning early? Really!!!

I had an absolutely horrible experience. I had scheduled a truck through the ride share to pick up at Sunrise Auto in Riverview. I get to the location and the app will not let me pick up, modify, or delete the reservation. I call and they tell me I have to go to another location (this is after I had to call multiple times from people hanging up or transferring me to the wrong location). I get to the new location and try to do Express online check in and it says it cant find me. I call a guys direct line who tells me to go inside the store. They cant find my reservation and the process there takes over 20 min because the guy was also the cashier to the gas station patrons. He finally gets us in a truck around 845 (over 3 hours from when I was supposed to have it all ready The truck smelled like weed, the brakes squeaked, the oil light was on. I was given someone elses paperwork. The while process was a nightmare and I dont think I'll use uhaul again.

Customer service was horrible. Nothing was explained. Rep didnt even want to come to the truck to inspect. Then when I had questions about the invoice I was yelled at talked down to. When I terminated the call he had the audacity to call me svk just to tell me that he was sorry that I was stupid! This is the type of person you have representing uhaul. I will never rent from them again and I will tell everyone I know about the horrible experience I had.

The 15 inch truck I rented was poorly maintained. It was dirty and I had to throw away the mattress. There was fluid and it actually smelled like piss. This was my worst Uhaul experience by far. Highly NOT recommended.

Terrible place to rent a uhaul. Takes forever because the person also runs a subway restaurant/gas station/car wash and doesn’t have the proper equipment to properly rent out a truck. Took 30 minutes just to rent a vehicle. The vehicle smelled like urine, I had to ride with the windows down in the middle of December just so to not vomit. Brought the vehicle back and was accused of scratching the vehicle, when I was never given a sheet to check off any damages prior to renting the truck. Overall a terrible experience from this location that I would never recommend anyone who values their time or sanity to ever even step foot in this run down place.

The pick up and drop off process has issues. At both times they will wait on their store customers then come back to you. Then as they continue to come in they will leave you and then come back. They say they are sorry but continue to do this. Both times took over 30 plus minutes when at times I was the only one there. Another UHaul dropp customer came in and I asked him about his experience without my situation. Basically he stated the same. Wow so it’s not just me. Then we reserved a 17 foot truck but were told the website is not correct as for inventory available. We accepted a 20 foot truck but nothing was done to assist in the additional costs. I asked but it is what it is. This is my para phrasing but this is how I felt. The location was close and we didn’t have time to go to a plan B.

Not add coverages to my order. And keep the price the same as when I order the u haul on line. Also wasn't a half a tank of gas in the truck but was marked as so on the contract.

You can have better customer service. It took 45mins to get the rental because the cashier kept stopping to ring other people up and the cashier appeared that they didnt know how to work their systems. Also it took 30 mins to return it due to the same issues.
