The pick-up location was average but the problem was I reserved a truck 2 weeks prior for a specific location 4 miles from my moving location and on 5/29/26 I received a text my location was moved because no 15 foot truck would be available. The new location was 15 miles away. When I went to that location I was told they had no 15 foot truck for me. I would have to use a 20 foot truck, which was far bigger than I needed. 16 foot was more than enough for what I need to move. The clerk at the new location then decided to give me their local 15 foot truck. I gave her the drop off location for my one way rental. In the process of my move U-haul again texted where I was to drop off truck, which was a significant distance from my moving destination. I dropped the truck where I originally planned to because it was only less than 2 miles away. I don't appreciate last minute changes especially when not being familiar with the new location where I moved. The truck that I drove was not clean, need brakes and the transmission did not shift properly. I was not sure I would make I would make it to my destination .

I guess the uhaul wasn't clean after all because I returned it the same way it was given to me and I was charged a $25 cleaning fee 🤔. I also was charged $10 for the small dolly (separately) where online it's $7.
Katrina GWhen I went to pick up the truck yesterday, the employee was extremely rude and disrespectful. On top of that, the truck was dirty and on empty when I received it.
