Customer service was very poor. It’s a gas station and he waited until the entire store was cleared out before tending to me. They truck was given to me with broken glass and mirrors all throughout the back, and a walktrhough wasnt done during pickup. During dropoff, the guy tried to blame me for the glass in the back and a couple nicks along the side of the truck, both of which i had nothing to do with. I wasnt happy with his demeanor and the overall feeling i got from him that i was more of an inconvenience than a valied customer.

Service both checking out and back in was long and horrendous. No one seemed like they knew what they were doing. They do too much at that location. They should not be a Uhaul vendor.

I would tell the next customer to NEVER EVER go get a uhaul from this location. You will be yelled at in engish and whatever language they speak when you disagree with your charges. Worst experience ever. Totally over charged. I may never use uhaul again.

Awful customer service. Didn’t even have the truck that was reserved available. Didn’t want to accept the return, and was very rude. Had multiple customers leave mad at him throughout the time I spent at the location. Awful business man, and a horrible face for the uhaul organization.

The person in charge of the transaction at the marathon location on causeway was very rude initially. He didn’t come out with me to check the car I offer to show I.D. And he said it was ok I didn’t need to present I.D to remove vehicle from the lot. I made prior reservations online I was force to pay with a card that I did not want to use even though I pre-checked in. He didn’t come with me outside to check the van major red flag I’ve used your services before multiple time in multiple states never ever have I ever dealt with this low level of respect. Upon returning the vehicle I was screamed at for not putting gas in the van for 20 miles he drove the van to the gas pumping station and demanded I gave home 10 dollars cash to put in the van he yelled at me and to make matters worst his co-worker cheered him on and proceeded to scream at me as well. I am very disappointed in today’s experience and am sadden the U-Haul is working with people like this in addition to all this he denied my return of the van and had to call U-Haul customer service in order to explain the situation at hand. I was still charged 17 dollars although I barely used and gas. I don’t get it and I’m so disturbed honestly I pray no one has to deal with this what was suppose to be an exciting day for me because I got the keys to my first place became a racial nightmare.

thank you for allowing me to use your van.i was supplied with everything I needed.van,blankets,dolley.i rented it for 4hours only.i picked it up at 10:30am and returned at 14:00 sharp.i was charged the whole day rate of 79 dollars instead of 19.00 as the original contract stated.when I tried to ask the lady about it she said I drove more miles.i agree to miles but not to the whole day rate. I like uhaul but this was not the right experience.if you can help I would appreciate it very much.thank you regardless of the outcome.

The location where I picked up and dropped off the u haul, marathon at causeway Blvd in Tampa Florida. Very unprofessional and dissatisfied with customer service the man in the store was very rude and made me NEVER want to do business with Uhaul ever again. I’ve been useing uhaul for a number of years and this is one experience I would like to forget. Very unprofessional and uhaul lost a customer for life with that single visit.

Terrible experience...I read the reviews on my way over hoping the place would change my mind. The workers manage a gas station & adjoining Subway as their first priority. Drop off took more than 15 minutes. I didn’t even receive a proper receipt with ending miles/gas. They said it would be “emailed” and wouldn’t offer a hard copy. The cashier didn’t seem knowledgeable about U-Haul. The female working the subway counter had to balance those customers first before attending to U-Haul customers. Very disappointed! I will drive 10+ miles if I have to just to not drop off there ever again!

The mileage charge was outrageously high. Somehow a $20 rental turned into a $77 expense. On top of that, the customer service was nonexistent and the van smelled terrible every time I got inside of it.

I was charged for insurance when I clearly stated on my reservation and at the time of pick up I did not want it. They barely spoke English and told me I had to contact haul directly to get a refund

Only one employee to work the gas station counter and uhaul rentals. Very inefficient.

The person first told me my reservation wasn't in the sistem and proceeded to ignore me while I called cust. svc. to resolve the issue. The truck had less gas than what was listed on the contract, but he said he couldn't change the printout so I just took a time date picture of the gas guage.

even though I did the check in way ahead of time, it took almost an hour since the moment I arrived for pick up to drive away with the UHaul. Same on drop off. Also, truck didn’t have the additional equipment I had specified. All in all they had two of the three equipment. Since one was missing I was told I would be getting a discount for the amount of the equipment. When I received the email with the invoice there is no discount, I was charged the full amount of the missing item plus a mystery $6.26.

I had the WORST experience renting from the location. The WORST customer service from the people working inside the location. My reservation was confirmed for Monday, November 20th 2017. My reservation was given to someone else on Saturday November 18th 2017. I was called by the gas station Uhaul staff on Saturday about the reservation being given to someone else. I told them that whoever that was that came in for the van, was NOT me. I was told and assured that my reservation for 11/20/17 was still good, and that I would be able to come and pick up the van with no issues. A worker with the gas station Uhaul location even TEXTED me to confirm that I could still pick up the van on Monday. The phone number that text me was 813-516-2755. When I went to pick up the van on Monday 11/20/17, I was told that my reservation was given to someone else because they had the same last name as me... I was offered NO help, and the staff in the gas station Uhaul location treated me as if it was MY fault for the mix up. During this interaction with the staff, they proceeded to attend to other customers as if there was not a HUGE mistake that happened on their part. After standing there for 20 minutes with ZERO help, I finally suggested to them that they should just make me a new reservation if my previous reservation was given to someone else. Reluctantly they made another reservation for me, and I was able to leave with the van. This horrible experience lasted approx 30 min. Soon after I left the Uhaul location, I was contacted by a gentleman named John. He did not apologize for the mix up, however, he was clear in his instructions to me on how to return the vehicle so that there was no mix up in payment. When I went to return the van, the same day at 7:30 pm, there was another Uhaul customer having the SAME EXACT mix up as I was. He was also getting the SAME EXACT unprofessional customer service that I received. After speaking with this customer, he reported that he ALSO reserved the van for that day, and that he was told the van was not available. (I had just returned the van, but the uhaul staff told this customer that he could not rent it right away.) Needless to say, this experience was the WORST! From Saturday up until today, I have received THREE different receipts for my reservation. I was emailed a receipt on Saturday, a receipt last night, and a receipt this morning. After my calculations from my original reservation, I am owed $12.00 back from your company. I am COMPLETELY confused as to how customers could have this experience with such a large company, and it's not fair because NO ONE has offered to help me figure out what is going on! I have received this same exact email multiple times as well. I will write the same exact review for each survey I receive. I will never use this location again. And I will make sure that all of my business partners NEVER use this location.

How about a little knowledge about what they are doing and quotes on how much the rental is gonna cost and the availability. I feel I got ripped off and will be filing formal complaints to U-haul. There was no at time off rental walk around for a walk around at time of return and no final bill knowledge. The attitude from Manny, who was the person who handled the rental at Marathon, was one of aloofness and uncaring. He told me that I would be getting an E- mail with the final charges. Very unprofessional.

They did not charge my card for the 19.99per day rate we agreed too, they did not closed the ticket on the day they I brought vehicle back, they keept ticket open, until Tuesday 11th when I brought the vehicle in on Monday 9th at noon, I have record of taking the uhaul on Sunday, because I have video of my inspection because the uhaul had a crack windshield, the driver side seat did not move. I contacted location about charges the guy hung up on me after I confronted him about the charges

Waited 30 minutes even though I checked in early online. Clerk was running a busy convenience store and checking in uhaul customers all alone. Van had a large crack in the windshield and was not clean.

Only thing was they were difficult to understand. Not trying to be mean but it was tough trying to communicate with them about returning the rental. Also location very difficult to find. Parking spot to return the unit. They were very kind but we struggled talking to each other. But over all, sweet and kind folks.
