I was advised that my van would be at a Denver location, then the night before it was updated to Aurora. When I was creating a reservation it said guarantee it would be at the location I booked it or I get $50 back. I called customer service and was denied the $50 with no reasonable explanation - the rep was also rude. I also spent 40 min messing around with my phone setting and on call with another rep to pick up my vehicle, because the already changed location didn't open till 9. So I lost an hour or my moving time. Resolution - I would like to at a minimum get $50 credited back to my car following the promise of guarantee and the inconvenience it createdMichael T.

Everything about this experience was a mess. From the prices being different from what was listed online, the slopes in the aisles and especially at the exits causing my car to bottom out constantly, the gate being broken and no sign or only TINY signs to indicate that so I had to back up a long distance over weirdly angled pavement, to cancelling and being told I was supposed to give 30 days notice when the person who signed me up specifically said TO MY FACE that I could cancel up until the last day of the month and it would be just fine. I was charged an additional days rental because the truck was returned 42 minutes late. The woman at the facility Was rude as spoke to me as if I was a child she did not particularly like. I return the truck clean and undamaged, and still this insane woman charged me for an additional day for 42 minutes. The person why had the rental after me was not scheduled to be there yet and was not there. Overreaction appears to be the rule of the day a this place.Madison S.
First all the verification to take the truck did not wok the first 4 or 5 times tried then after 30 mins of that and calling CS and finally getting the key the truck battery was completely dead, again another 30 min wait we decide to jump the truck with our personal car. Initially, I was told that the pick-up location had to install the trailer when picking up, which makes sense for safety reasons. However, they said they were not corporate and couldn't help me install the trailer. Eventually, one of the women did come and help me get the trailer hooked up so it worked out. However, I would suggest that accurate information is relayed to the customer from the start.Casey Q.

After being denied a request to refund the $30 fuel service charge by the regional manager, I spoke with uhaul corporate and they made things right to retain my business as a loyal customer. My company spends hundreds per year with uhaul and I was prepared to move our business to Penske but a friendly representative at the general customer service line did the right thing. My experience was so poor that I would like to request a refund. The truck bed was not only full of ice but also full of broken glass. Extremely dangerous and the staff did not care at all about it. My answer to the previous question (would you recommend this location to a friend) is really MAYBE. It took me quite a bit longer than it should have to obtain my rental. While the woman assisting me was very nice, she didn't seem to really know what she was doing. Since I had booked the rental online, I expected the interaction to take all of 5 minutes... it took at least 20.Derrick W.

I strongly feel if you are renting to someone that is coming in from out of state. Your facility should have someone to calll and check on appointments for rentals to double check the time and make sure they can get in and out without call a customer service agent or another store.. the app you have is not a good way to do business when people are in a hurry.. I had to call another store to ask for help with the payment method.. thank God he gave me his cell number to call if I needed assistance... Robert Strada turned a complete disaster into a peaceful and stressless day for me... He need a raise and needs to train employees how to go that extra mile.. The location was fine; the U-Haul app is the piece that is problematic. What would have taken 5 minutes with a staffed location took three times as long. The only thing that redeemed this experience was the work of Jeremy and Mia to make sure I had a truck and I could pick it up on my schedule.Jason S.
Though I would recommend this location, my experience with UHaul wasn't a good one. I reserved a truck online. When I went to the location my email confirmation listed (the location I wanted) they weren't there. I had to wait over an hour and twenty minutes for someone to return. Then they didn't have a record of my reservation. Uhaul had sent the confirmation to another store. Luckily the woman at the Stapleton Storage place had a truck. This entire time I was paying movers to sit at my house. I ended up having movers for an additional hour that just sat around while I waited on the location to open. I also had wanted a smaller truck and ended up having to drive a larger truck through rush hour traffic (since things got pushed back an hour and a half). I am not sure if I will use Uhaul again.Heather N.

The mobile app is horrible and doesn't work. Failed for both pick-up and drop off. Luckily the HUMAN working at this location was excellent and was able to get me moving. Please get rid of the app and instead spend the money on good employees.David S.
Train the staff better. The woman working the counter was borderline incompetent. It took me 40 minutes to get the truck and I was the second person in line. She was trying to do a million things at once and gave my truck to the people in front of me, delaying the process even longer. it was good till I needed truck for 3 more days and they wanted another 120.00 bucks for 3 days that's when I found out that its 19.95 for truck and 20.00 per day for ins that my friends is crazy and that cost is so well hidden .nowhere in your contract is that info available and if it wasn't for district manager phone call I would have never found that out ether so keep that in mind the next time u rent a uhaul truckJohn D.
The process was confusing. I signed up for one day and when I received my confirmation email it said my pickup was the following day. I also wanted to do an after hours pickup and the woman who worked at Stapleton Storage couldn't tell me what the process was other than to "just do it online". I could not take the chance that after hours pickup would not work so I came in before closing to pick it up. Because I was scheduled for after hours pickup she just gave me the lockbox code and told me to do the paperwork online. I went to do the paperwork after I got in the truck the website told me my paperwork to do that wouldn't be available until 6pm that night. When I went to check in at 6pm after I got home it said I couldn't do it because I wasn't at Stapleton Storage. The next day I got a call stating the reservation had been canceled. We ended up getting it figured out but... When I dropped it off the same woman who I worked with the previous day told me I just needed to drop off the key and that's it. When I told her I needed a receipt so I could could know what I was finally being charged and turn it in to my company she acted annoyed but got me a receipt. I see two issues that made this process rather unpleasant. One was the website is not very clear as to how the after hours pickup works. The second and most important was the woman who I dealt with was terrible. When I called she was obviously extremely annoyed. I called a few times and it was the same for each. When I got there she was still annoyed. Her attitude combined with the reservation made the experience terrible. I've rented from Uhaul before and the experience has always been great. In fact, the incorrect and confusing reservation issue would not have been such a big deal had the on-site customer service not been so terrible. Finally, I had two brief interactions with a couple other employees and they were fine. Thanks, DeanDean E.

I got there to pick up my trailer, and the lady behind the counter pulled up my file and the reservations wrong. I then pulled up my reservation of my phone she told me that she didn't know she had the trailer. Well to start with I rented the truck for a couple days and told them I will return it a day earlier, she said that is fine I won't be charged for it. I returned the truck early like I told her before 9 like she spoke about and I was charged for 3 days. To top that off I called them about it and she told me sorry not her problem. Never using uhaul again. I tried to give them a chance after friends told me uhaul was this bad and not a good idea I didn't listen. Lesson learned. Don't waste your money people.malcolm H.

The only complaint I have is that I was told the vehicle had a full tank and that if I didn't bring it back full it would be charged $3.75 per gallon plus an additional $30 fee. Well, I only drove 11.6 miles and and figured I'd only need to put a gallon at the most to top it off. Turns out the tank wasn't full and I ended up stopping at 4 gallons and hoping the gauge would show full enough that I would get charged anything. Kind of annoying since I already had to pay for mileage on top of the daily fee.Robert K.
